I brush through my brown hair as I look at myself in the mirror. My hair falls behind my shoulder as I gently flip it, passing my hand over my mini black dress. I touch up my make-up and open the bathroom draw to grab Ava's favorite hair mask. I keep it in our bathroom because she has a habit of using it when we're not around.

I look up at the mirror and my eyes meet Axton's. He stands against the door frame, dressed in a black shirt, jeans and a silver chain around his neck. I smile looking at his messy hair. I fall in love again, each time he looks at me. His eyes glazes my body in a gaze that makes my stomach flutter.

"Hi baby." He smiles, walking into the bathroom. His arms drape around me and I lean into his embrace, his cologne bringing me the most comfort in the world.

"Hi." I smile, bending my head so I can look up at him, he smiles, leaning down and crashing his lips on mine. His soft lips move with mine and I smile when he tugs me closer to him.

"You look beautiful." He says, pulling away as I blush like a high school girl.

"Thank you baby." I tell him, grabbing the hair mask off the counter and hesitantly leaning off his embrace.

"You ready?" he asks me and I nod as I take the light off in the bathroom. But Axton being Axton, he puts it back on immediately. I roll my eyes. He always does that.

"Is Jace finished?" I ask him. He nods. Jace and Kiara, yes my stepsister, were moving into their new house, a house that I got to help her design. Over the last few years, Kiara and I have grown close. She tells me stories of her toxic home, family and how she fought to get out. I really do love her as much as I love Shyla. Speaking of my little sister, she now directs most movies that you would see on television, all while being a single mother and an amazing girlfriend to Luke, her at the moment boyfriend, who has asked me to help him choose a wedding ring. I'm never been more proud and happy for her.

"Yup. He was giving Kiara crap about the staircase but she quickly shut him up." Axton says and I laugh. They're an amazing couple and amazing parents to my nephew.

"Which one?" I ask him, holding up two purses. He takes two seconds before pointing to his hand.

"What?" I chuckle.

"Hold my hand instead." He winks at me and I roll my eyes smiling.

"Is my wife blushing for me?" he asks, walking to me. As usual, my smile widens and he grins.

"Shut up, let's go get the kids." I tell him. We walk our room as Axton smacks my ass. Idiot.

"Ava, baby can mommy and daddy come in?" She's only four but we still give her the privacy she needs.

"Yup!" She yells and I smile as Axton knocks on Aiden's door.

"Hey champ, we're ready to leave, come to your sister's room." Axton tells him. His toy story themed door opens and he walks out.

"Hi mommy!" he says, running to me. I chuckle picking him up and placing a kiss on his cheeks.

"Hi there baby!" I tickle him and he laughs, pushing my hands away.

"Mama's boy." Axton mumbles, glaring at us as he opens Ava's door.

"Daddy, how do I look?" she asks, spinning around in her yellow dress.

"Just as beautiful as mommy." he says, pressing a kiss to her forehead. I smile at them. Everyday I remind him of what an amazing father he is to our beautiful babies. I'm so proud of him. He has no idea.

"Okay, Aiden, go sit with Daddy while I do your sister's hair." I pass him to Axton and open the bathroom door to Ava's fairy themed bathroom.

"Aiden, give me back my hair mask." She pouts as her little hands rummage through her basket of hair products.

"I don't have it, I told you that at breakfast," he says.

"It's missing! Give it back!" she tells him. I look at Axton, the smile on his face makes me laugh and both our babies look at me.

"Mama, why are you laughing?" Ava asks.

"Because I have your hair mask princess," I tell her, handing her the strawberry hair mask.

She frowns and grabs it, setting the mask next to her picture of Amyra and her at Disneyland.

"Okay, how do you want your hair?" I ask her and she steps on the stool, passing her hand over her hair.

"Aiden, do you think he'll like my hair in braids or no?" She asks her brother as I grab her purple hairbrush.

Who is he? I pray its not some imaginary kid, I'm not ready for that.

"I don't know!" Aiden groans, clearing Ava's bed, he has my traits.

"I'll love your hair anyway you do it Ava." Axton says.

"Not you dad!" she groans and my eyebrows raise.

"What?" Axton asks.

Oh lord.

"I'm the only boy who's opinion you should be caring about." Here we go.

"Mama, daddy's doing it again." She mumbles.

"Sophia! Tell her!" Axton says and I roll my eyes.

"I know baby, I know. Just ignore him." I whisper, or at least I try to.

He gasps.

"Do you know which guy she's talking about?" he asks, stepping into the bathroom.

I look over at Aiden who's reading a book, see told you he has my traits.

"No." I tell Axton meeting his gaze.

"You're lying! Soph!" He gasps.

"Ava, baby listen to me, you're not supposed to care about any boys, alright? No boys util you're twenty-five." He tells her and her eyes widen.

"Mommy, he wants me to die without getting married." She pouts. I couldn't help but laugh.

"Sophia! This is serious."

"She's four babe." I mumble, combing through Ava's hair.

"Exactly! Way to young." He says as I braid her hair, pulling it along the sides of her tiny head and securing it with a bobby pin to the back.

"Who's the boy?" he asks and I press my lips in a line.

"Daddy you're being dramatic." Ava says and I laugh at how she pronounces it.

"No I'm not who's the-"

"Oh God! It's Jake." Aiden yells from Ava's bed and her eyes widen as I look away from Axton.

His jaw drops.

"She's worried about Jake?" he asks.

"She likes Jake dad!" Aiden yells.

"Snitch." Ava mumbles and I laugh.

"Who taught you that?" I ask her.

"Ameila." She says and I laugh harder. Speaking of Ameila, she's in Paris with Eleanor.

"Where are you going?" I ask Axton as he walks out the room.

"To tell Jace to keep Jake away from Ava." He says and Ava gasps.

"Daddy! No!" She yells, running out the door. I sigh.

Atleast I got them both out the door.

---

"Ava smile for us!"

"Aiden smile!"

"Axton, what are your thoughts on your uncle being arrested?"

"Sophia, when can we expect the new spring line?"

"Axton, is it true you and Jace are planning to buy the fifth street on West?"

"Sophia over here!"

"Sophia where is your sister?"

"When was the last time you two talked to Denzell?"

"Mr. McKay!"

"Beatiful family!"

The cameras flash their lights, the cold night air passes over us as we walk to our car.

"Can you folks be a little quite, our kids are probably asleep." Axton says to them and they slowly back away. Axton's hand settles on my lower back as we walk away from the crowd.

"Daddy, the noise-" Ava mumbles, falling back into sleep.

"I know princess, I know." he says, unlocking the car and passing a hand over her back. I smile, gripping Aiden tighter. They fell asleep on us for the first time in a year and Axton was so happy about it, he's crazy.

He holds the door open as I put Aiden into his car seat and place his blanket over him. He's a stronger sleeper than Ava. Axton walks to the other side of the car as I hold the door open. He puts Ava into her car seat and I place the blanket over her. I quietly close the door and turn to Axton.

"I miss when they fall asleep on us." He says, pulling me into his arms. I smile, wrapping my arms around him.

"We love you so much." I tell him. Like I said, everyday I remind him that he's an amazing father.

"Soph, I honestly wouldn't be here without you." he says.

"I was one lost fucked up teen." He says and I frown.

"You saved me, baby." He whispers, kissing my lips as a tear falls from my eyes.

A happy tear.

"Don't go all emotional on me love." He chuckles, wiping the tear away as I laugh.

"Alright, you're shaking, let's get in the car." he says and I nod. He opens the door for me and I get in, grabbing my purse looking for my phone.

"Some things never change huh?" he asks.

"What do you-" He reaches across and straps the seatbelt to me. I smile sheepishly. I always forget.

"Thank you." I tell him and he nods, turning to look at our kids. I join him, watching them sleep.

"Does she really like Jake?" he asks, quietly. I nod smiling as I recall when she told me he makes her feel like she's the prettiest girl in the room.

"Well shit. I'm really calling Jace this time." I roll my eyes.

"How would you feel if Denzell stopped you from seeing me?" I ask him.

"I'd kill him." he chuckles.

"Exactly." He rolls his eyes this time and we turn around.

He starts driving, the city passing us in a blur.

Axton takes my hand in his and presses a light kiss to my knuckles.

"I love you Soph." he says.

"I love you Axton." I tell him.

I always have, and I always will love him.
