3 years later.

"Sophia!" Axton's voice makes me drop the spoon. I'm going to kill his ass.

"What?" I yell back from the kitchen of our house.

"Ava fell can you get up here quick?" He tells me and I instantly take the oven off and rush up the glass staircase to him and Ava. As I run through the halls of our house, I couldn't help but remember all our memories. Axton and I moved into our new house a few days before I gave birth to the twins. It has been one heck of an experience. One of the best experiences I've ever had, moving in with Axton, waking up with him, going to bed with him, cooking dinner with him. I'm so madly in love with him.

"Don't drop it Aiden, be careful." I hear Axton whisper to our son. Drop what? I push Ava's door open expecting Axton and Aiden to be huddled around her since she fell.

Or so I thought.

"Happy birthday mama!" My two adorable children yell, holding chocolate, balloons, and a card. My heart bursts from how cute they look.

"Aw, thank you!" I quickly pull them both into my arms, turning around my eyes fall onto Axton. As he did every single year for my birthday, he's standing with a bouquet of off-white roses. I love him so much.

"Happy Birthday my love." He presses his lips onto mine.

"Oh God, they're kissing again." Ava mumbles and Aiden sighs.

"Is my little princess jealous?" Axton takes her into his arms and she giggles as he tickles her. He then takes Aiden from my arms and starts tickling him too. I smile looking at him. Three years ago he was so terrified he'd be a bad dad. But as expected he's nothing like Denzel, he's such a great dad and an even more amazing husband. Our kids love him.

"Mom! This is not fair-" Aiden yells as Axton tickles the two-three-year olds. Laughter fills Ava's room.

"Alright, dinner is ready, come on." I take Ava's hand but she pulls away.

"Daddy carry me!" she launches into Axton's arms and I roll my eyes smiling. She's such a daddy's girl. I turn to my handsome little prince and take him into my arm.

No doubt Ava looks like me but she has all of Axton's traits and Aiden looks like Axton, the same green-blue eyes and the same brown hair. However, Aiden inherited my personality.

"Let's have dinner before mama bores us with a lecture." Axton says and I throw one of Ava's stuffed animals at him.

"Mama! You can't throw Mr. Cuddles like that!" She yells.

"Mom needs a punishment." Axton winks at me and I try not to smile but I do.

"No ice cream for a week." Aiden mumbles

"Hey, you're supposed to be on my side baby boy."

"Sorry mama, Mr.Cuddles is my favorite," he mumbles as we walk down the stair case and into the kitchen.

"Alright, come on, grab a plate," I tell them, my phone rings and I frown.

"Take it baby, I'll serve them dinner." Axton says as he kisses my cheek.

"Thank you." I smile, answering the phone.

"Hi Hayley."

"Hey Soph, the fabric consultation is tomorrow for the kids line."

"Okay, what time?" I ask her.

"Ten." she tells me and I nod, stupid me she can't see you.

After the twins were born, I created a line for kids. The pieces were inspired by Ava and Aiden. It did really well, better than I expected. Hayley has been the most faithful employee I've ever had. She's now happily married and expecting a baby with guess who? Mark. Yep, my model.

"I'll be there, you can have the morning off." I tell her and I can almost hear her protest before it come through the phone.

"No-"

"Boss's orders." I tell her.

"Thank you Soph. I got to go, Mark is probably burning the kitchen down." I chuckle telling her bye and ending the call.

"Change of plans Soph, everyone's coming over in five." Huh?

"What do you mean-"

"We're here! Where are my two favorite humans!" I hear Myra's voice. Well we know she's not talking about me or Axton. I walk to the front door to greet everyone.

"Aunty Myra!" My kids yell from the kitchen.

"Aw, my babies! I haven't seen you in forever."

"You saw them yesterday," Axton tells her and she shrugs it off.

"Sophia." Eleanor walks into the house. I smile, pulling her into a hug.

"You look even more beautiful every time I see you, Soph." She tells me and I laugh. I turn to the door because that's not everyone. My eyes drop to Jace and I almost scream.

"Jace the pizza is going to fall!" I yell at him, he's carrying like six boxes.

"I told you I can help babe." Kiara steadies the boxes. Kiara and I have gotten pretty close over the past two years. She is my half-sister after all. I do understand where she was coming from, she never had her dad around, which makes us both. But she didn't deserve that. My eyes fall onto her baby bump. Kiara and Jace got married last year. Now, the only one of us left to get married is Myra, Liam plans on asking her soon. Don't tell her that.

"Hi Soph." Kiara pulls me into a hug, which I return.

"How's baby boy?"I ask her.

"Active." she laughs.

"Aunty Sophia!" Charlotte runs up to me. My niece is probably the most energetic kid I've met.

"Hi baby." I hug her.

"I'm starting to think you like my daughter more than me." Shyla tells me as she walks in, mom Seb and Amanda right behind her.

"I thought I made that clear." I tease her.

"I've missed you." she mumbles pulling me into a hug. Shyla is a single mom, and it looks so damn good on her, I'm so proud of her.

"Hi darling." Mom kisses my cheeks as she walks to the kitchen, her hands filled with pies.

"God, everything is white in your house, are you really that old?" Seb says and Amanda smacks him.

"Hi Soph." she smiles at me.

"Hey, how's our littlest Rivera?" I glance at her stomach.

"He isn't allowing me to sleep." She rolls her eyes and I laugh.

Two people are missing.

"Babe, is that everyone or should I close the garage?"I ask Axton, but he's too busy fighting with Jace. Idiots.

"Nope, we're the last two." I turn to see Denzell and Ameila.

I always thought, once an asshole always an asshole. But Denzel changed that. He changed. I owned up to all his mistakes and apologized, of course, Axton didn't forgive him, nor have I. But we want our children to have as normal of a life as possible and they need their grandparents.

"Hey guys." I smile as Ameila walks in. She's eight and missing a few teeth. Time has flown so quickly.

I close the front door and turn to look at everyone around the table. These are the people important to me. Axton, our kids, our friends, and family.

You'll never make it.

My dad's voice flows into my head.

I did make it. But he didn't. He didn't because he pushed away from the love he had, he took it for granted. I'm so thankful for Axton, the love he's shown me can't compare to anything this world has ever given me.

That's why it's always him. As if he could read my mind, he walks up to me.

"Hi baby." he wraps his arms around me.

"Hi." I place my hands over his.

"I love you Soph." he kisses my lips.

"I love you too Axton." I smile.
