"Ok, let's start the planning session." Ford looked around.

Carion stood up and punched his fist. "Let's go in and kick some ass."

"Sounds good to me. Let's go." Ford stood up once again to leave.

"Ford, don't you think we should do something about the younger you?" Lily pointed at Jet.

"Few scars never hurt me before. Except I don't remember ever getting those. What the hell happened to you?" Ford asked, and everyone else looked at him like how didn't you notice.

Jet explained about the fight with Gegol and meeting with Lord Joy. "I don't even have any magic right now."

"Why don't you absorb the magic from the air?" Ford asked as if it was like breathing air.

"How?"

Ford cocked his head. "Wow, was I this weak in one of my lifetimes?"

"You are me, so how do you not remember?" Jet grinned his teeth.

"Sorry, I don't remember much of my old life anymore. I can only remember bits and pieces." Ford frowned.

"Yeah, I know you lose memory when you get older." Jet started.

Lily shook her head and interrupted. "Not exactly the same. You received damage to your soul. Until we find a way to fix it, your memories keep leaking out."

"But, you told me about Amanda." Jet turned to Ford.

A book formed in his hand. "I wrote everything I could down before it was lost. To keep her close, I read several of these books every week. Only if I had a picture of her, so I could see the one who had captured my heart."

Jet was confused. "Surely you could have asked Aunt Jean for a picture?"

"House caught on fire. Her mother had thrown out all her pictures. Now I can't even imagine what she looked like. But deep down, I'm not sure she would've liked the new me." Ford smiled at the thought. A few stacks of books formed on the floor. Three piles up to Ford's waste. "Put these in your library. Maybe they can help you out."

"Isn't this going a bit far?" Jefferson pointed at the books.

"Maybe, it's not like they will help him too much. They mostly contain the thoughts I had while doing certain things. This first stack is everything I could write down about Amanda. The other stacks are about my friends, and like I said. What good has it done us being careful about changing things in the past." Ford picked up a book. "This is my complaint about Graham marrying my daughter. It's funny how contradictory the book is. I must have cared deeply about Graham. But hated the thought of him with Sarah. The one man I couldn't beat in a straight fight."

"That is funny. Dad always acted like he was always training to surpass you." Carion chuckled. "He felt that you had never tried your hardest against him."

Ford opened the book to a specific page. "Every time I fought my friend. I felt that he had held back even knowing he won." He closed the book. "I hope I didn't write that down just to make Graham seem more powerful than me. Although I have no clue if I had tried my hardest." Ford looked over to Jet. "As for you, absorb magic from the air for now." He pointed a finger at Jet, and a colorful light entered his head. "Take the fast track to learning."

Lily slapped her forehead. "Why do I feel like we are cheating the system right now?"

Almark looked up from a book and at Lily. "I'm sure we are. Ford, are you completely sure we should do this? This is beyond killing someone. The person will have never existed, and I will lose all my memory as well."

"Yes, we will all cease to exist until we return to that time. Will that be a problem losing all that memory?" Ford held Jet up while the memory dump went through.

"I remember almost a hundred-time changes. Honestly, I wouldn't mind losing the memories. But, this method seems a little too cruel." Almark flipped to another page in the book. "As a reminder, Jet looks like he could use some healing."

"I'm like holding several dozen timelines now. I can't afford to heal him. Not only that, I can feel someone calling for him. We need to put a stop to the call. I don't even want to imagine the problems we will have if he shows up. So for now, age him." Ford reached out a hand, and a crystal formed. "Take this just in case. It is enough Mag-Liv energy for the sacrifice, and I'll trust your judgment if this will be too harsh." Then another thought struck Ford. "Alex, where you at?"

"I've been watching from the couch this whole time." Alex was unsure if she liked what they told her about her future.

"Why don't you heal Jet?" Ford asked.

Lily spoke up. "Ford, Alex hasn't regained her own magic yet."

"Well, sorry for not remembering." Ford frowned. "So age him, and let's get moving. We need to see these rebels. They may have more knowledge about this town. Let's ask them where this person could be hiding." Ford looked back at Jet. "I'm sorry about all this. I know you aren't in good shape. But you will pull through. We always managed that, at least."

"He's right, Almark, age me and let's get going." Jet walked over to the pile of books to put them in his world. "And screw you." Jet pointed at Ford. "Which part about learning to absorb magic from the air was easy? The knowledge you put into my head nearly overwhelmed my brain."

"I may have given you a more advanced system for collecting magic. But, you need to make sure and kill, Uh, the person who stole the ability to create magic." Ford frowned as he tried to remember his name.

"How much leaked out this time? Do you remember why you brought us here?" Lily grabbed Ford's hand.

"Sorry, maybe a few names is all, possibly more." Ford shook his head.

"All done making Jet older. Let's get moving." Almark clapped his hands. He pulled out an old case of cigarettes and put one in his mouth. "Can I have one, Lily?"

"You know I don't like the smell of your smoking." Lily gave him a shrug. "Whatever, it's not like I'll remember anyways. We all disappear after this. So, I'll be making you stop again someday."

"Sweet," Almark took out a lighter.

Ford snapped his finger, and the entire house disappeared. "Let's take a stroll through the woods."

After a few minutes, Jet looked over at Ford. "If we are in a hurry. Why are we walking to the rebel army?"

"Life is too short to be in a hurry." Ford patted Jet on the shoulder.

"That makes absolutely no sense." Jet added.

"I kissed Amanda," Ford said out of the blue.

Jet shrugged. "Why would I care?"

"When I saw her, my heart felt like it would leap out of my chest. Except I don't have a heart anymore. I've read those books over and over. I could never get why I'd destroy so much for one person. But at that moment, looking at her, I finally understood why I would." Ford was trying his hardest to remember Amanda.

"Glad to know I love her even if I can't remember. How did you lose all your memories?" Jet asked.

"In a fight sometime in my past. After I went to see what happened to Graham and Sarah and before I got back to Earth. I can't tell you much more than that. When I came back, I was in this body. Must've been something I created around then." Ford explained as best he could.

"Great, that was a lot of help." Jet said.

"I'm sorry, I can't remember." Ford frowned.

"Oh no, that is a lot of help. Now I know what to watch for when," Jet stopped at the thought. He didn't want to add when my daughter died. "I'll stop everything from happening."

"Please do. You would not believe how annoying it is to forget, well, everything." Ford looked down. "Guys, we're over the hidden base. Now where is the entrance?"

"I could teleport us in." Jet suggested.

"They should be here to grab us soon. We are wandering around on a secret bunker. They're just talking about you right now. Wow, you left so fast that they have been panicking for a while. If you're going to leave, make sure someone sees you fake sleeping first secretly. Then you would be good for an hour unless they had a camera recording you. But judging from the room you were in, I'd say no." Ford said. "Aww, they're on their way to get us. Now let's teleport to the entrance." Before anyone could say anything, Ford took them all to just inside the entrance. Which had a few people getting ready to go get them. When everyone in the room pointed their Tasers at them, Ford laughed. "Drop your weapons." He commanded, and everyone in the room applied.

"How did you do that?" Jet asked.

"I told you I fight on a different level than everyone else. If I use my Mag-Liv energy, planets are my battlefield. So that's why I only use magic. Now take me to your leader." Ford commanded, and the people turned to the door. He followed them into the bunker.

"Ford, I see your back." Rodger looked Jet up and down.

"Uh, have I been here before?" Ford pointed at himself.

"Rodger, call me Jet. It may get confusing if you call me that right now." Jet shook his head. "These are my friend, and I narrowed the name, Ford. I was afraid Joy would recognize my name."

"So you were the one that killed the girl in his house." Rodger looked at Ford. "Why did you take your friend's name?"

"Long story, don't have time for that." Jet said.

"Listen, Rodger. I need you to evacuate the town of bystanders in the next hour. Have any way to accomplish this task?" Ford asked.

"I thought you wanted to ask him where someone could hide?" Carion scrunched up his eyebrows.

"No time for that. Filixerixix is on his way. He entered the time stream about ten minutes ago, and he is picking up on my scent." Ford cringed.

"Saying his name like that won't help the situation." Lily clasped her hand over her mouth.

"Nah, should be fine. He exited seven hours from now. So our future selves are dealing with him at the moment." Ford sighed. "Which means I'm dealing with him."

"If we can find the other Time Walker before that, we will be ok." Almark looked at them all.

Rodger was listening to the conversation, confused. "You guys are crazy."

"Rodger, I order you to get the people out of the city around the Tower," Ford commanded.

"You're not my boss." Rodger stared him down.

"Wow, I wasn't expecting someone here to be strong enough to ignore a command. Either that or not know the command. But it happens. What would convince you to go evacuate that town?" Ford relented.

"Look, it isn't that simple. Lord Joy will kill all of us on the spot." Rodger shook his head.

"Jet here will take care of him. I need to know about every hiding place possible." Ford frowned when Jet interrupted.

"I thought you could see everything in the world?" Jet asked.

"Not exactly. An overpopulated city is too hard to scan. Each person gives off a power signature. So think of it as a giant haze over the city for me. If the person had some Mag-Liv power, I could easily track them." Ford explained.

"I see."

"Rodger, can you see what's happening worldwide?" Ford asked.

"Yeah, we have contacts around the world. Why?" Rodger's eyebrow raised.

Ford released enough magic that the entire world shook violently. Everyone in the room could see his magic around him. "Do you really want to not listen to someone like me? We do not have the time to play around."
