The next morning, we went to the advance zone in deeper area. We detected high dark energies. There were 3 Chimeras, the cruel creature, its head and body were lion, there was another head of goat on its body, its tale was snake, and it could breathe fire.

Ilario activated “Ardeat” to attack them in one blow, like bomb exploded. They could survive and run toward him.

Luna and Solaris used “Light Beam” to attack them. They did not see Luna and Solaris and breathed fire randomly. They tried to attack Ilario.

Ilario activated “Ice Freezing” to freeze their legs, then activated “Solis Shooting” to shoot them one by one while Luna and Solaris were using “Light Beam” to burn them. We killed them very quickly.

There were another 2 Chimeras showed up and tried to bite Ilario but Solaris and Luna attacked them before they could reach to him.

Ilario activated “Solis Shooting” to shoot them. They dodged and breathed fire back. He activated “Ice Freezing” to freeze their legs, then activated “Wind Slashing” to cut off their heads. Luna and Solaris burned their bodies and destroyed dark magic stones.

Ilario detected the area again. He found no Chimera but a lot of dark energies coming toward us.

“Be careful,” Luna said.

“Right. There are large number of them,” Solaris said.

Ilario activated “Light Absorption” to rush in his power and prepared for the next fight. He climbed up the tree and observed the situation.

There were hordes of monsters mixing all levels of monsters. They led by Lycans, X-Pantherae, X-Tigrisek, X-Tauruses, Griffins, and followed by Cyclopes.

Ilario activated “Wind Dragon Wings” to fly up in the air and prepared for attack. It was better for him to fight them from above.

Luna and Solaris generated their wings and flew to the sky.

“You two kill the griffins. I will attack all the monsters on the ground,” Ilario said.

“Yes,” Luna and Solaris said.

Luna and Solaris flew toward the griffins.

Ilario activated “Ardeat” in wavelength to blow the monsters as much as he could. One-third of them were burned without ashes. The remaining monsters spread to many directions after they got affected by the attack.

Ilario used much magic power with ‘Ardeat’ in wavelength. Even though his power was able to fill up very fast, he still needed to be careful just in case. He thought of the way to reduce their numbers with the effective attack.

He came up with the plan of herding the monsters. He flew down to the ground, then activated earth magic power to create the earth walls to herd the monsters. All the monsters began to run together in the same direction.

Ilario activated “Ardeat” to attack them after they were running as a group. More than half of them were gone.

Meanwhile, Luna and Solaris killed all the griffins and flew down to help him kill the remaining monsters. Most of them were Cyclopes.

Ilario left the remaining monsters to Luna and Solaris. Two strikes of Ardeat exhausted him so much. He needed to rest to fill up his magic power. He climbed up the tree and activated “Light Barrier” to protect himself from surprised attack. He observed the situation while using “Light Absorption” to absorb light energy.

Luna and Solaris were fighting without being exhausted. They killed all the remaining monsters easily and quickly. Ilario gave them his magic power after he got magic power filled up. They were happy because they could fight with monster, and then got magic power from Ilario.

Thanks to them he could get some rest. It was quite exhausted to kill all the hordes of monsters by himself.

The sky was dark. We went back to the camping area in the medium zone.

Ilario was so tired and wanted to get some sleep. He thought of going back home tomorrow, he wanted to get rest in comfortable bed and prepared more food ingredients for the next camping.

Luna and Solaris transformed to be wolf cubs, they were saving their energies for him while resting. They were very cute in these forms.

“The powers of yours were increasing together with me, right? Is it the same with abilities? Can you two develop more?” Ilario asked.

“Yes, we can do everything related to light energy. The more our powers increased, the more abilities we could develop to,” Luna said.

“You also have healing power, right? I can feel it,” Ilario asked.

“Yes, the power came from my crystal. It’s special source of healing and holy power,” Luna said.

“Really? So, you can purify the powerful dark magic core, right?” Ilario asked.

“I think so. But I need more power to do that because it’s not my main source of energy,” Luna said.

“All right. Let’s improve ourselves together. Ah…Tomorrow, I will go back home. There is a small house in another zone. That house is connected to the gate to another world but the gate’s not open now. I needed 3 more years and kill the monster lord first,” Ilario said.

“We will go with you everywhere. Don’t worry,” Solaris said.

The next day, we went direct to the house in the morning. Ilario hunted more wild animals along the way. He needed more food supplies.

After reached to the house, Ilario took a bath first. He could not lie in hot bath after he made contracts with Luna and Solaris, he only washed and dried himself with magic power very quickly. He felt too embarrassed to lie in hot bath when they were staying around him, and Luna was female even she was a spirit.

Time passed 2 years in ‘The Practice World’.

We spent time to kill monsters in the advance zone for 1 month and came back home to get rest for 1 week. We did this step repeatedly in the past 2 years.

After we fought with monsters continually in the past 2 years, we could exchange our powers automatically. It helped him to increase more capacity of magic core. He grew up so much, his physical body was stronger, he could handle magic power better and there was no problem with overpowering bottleneck, and magic exploded when he activated magic power.

Our powers were increasing rapidly. We could kill the high level of monsters faster and easier.

Athena goddess created this world like a game. It felt like we will find stronger monsters after we passed the zone, we always find stronger monsters in the next zone and we needed a lot of experiences to get level up, then fight the final boss at last to end the game.

Today, we went to the advance zone as usual. Solaris ran with light speed. We could reach to the advance zone within an hour. Solaris always adjust the light speed for him, therefore he has never gotten side effect from a very high speed. The light speed was very fast as the light. The physical body must be strong enough to resist that very high speed.

We walked through the woods and went deeper in the dense forest. We detected many darkness energies below the cliff near the river. We went near the edge of the cliff to observe the situation below the cliff.

There were a lot of Basilisks below the cliff, the large black serpents, poisonous monsters. It must be their nest, some were mating, some were slithering, some were devouring wild animals and small monsters. It was disgusting scene.

“I will blow them. Please back me up,” mind communicated Ilario.

“Yes,” Luna and Solaris said.

Ilario activated “Ardeat” in limited range of damage to attack the Basilisks, he could not activate in wavelength due to the risk of cliff destruction.

After first attacked, one-five of Basilisks was gone. The remaining Basilisks were spreading to other areas very fast.

Ilario activated “Solis Meteor” to attack them continually. He could not repeat with “Ardeat”. The cliff would be destroyed if he did so, and it was hard to deal with the Basilisks after that.

Meanwhile, Luna and Solaris were using “Light Beam” to attack them while backing him up.

We took more time to burn them because their skins were thick. We could kill only half of them. The remaining Basilisks were spreading in different ways very fast, they were hiding in caves and the areas that we could not risk to follow them. We left them and went to the next area.

We detected the dense energy of darkness near the river next to the cliff. We went to that direction and saw a Hydra, large serpent with 7 heads, it has dangerous venom, and it could regrow any decapitated limbs in fast speed.

“Be careful, especially the venom,” mind communicated Luna.

“Is the ‘Resistance’ can resist the venom?” mind communicated Ilario.

“Normally, it can resist all kinds of poisons but it’s up to the level of magic power. It consumes a lot of magic power to resist the strong poison. If you got bitten, you should activate “Recover” and “Instant Heal” immediately. For now, just activate “Wind Barrier” to blow away the poison breathing. I will boost up your healing magic power just in case,” mind communicated Luna.

“I will fight with you while Luna’s backing you up,” mind communicated Solaris.

Ilario activated “Wind Barrier” and “Wind Dragon Wings” to fly up in the air. He wanted to reduce a chance of getting bitten.

He activated “Ardeat” in limited range to attack at Hydra. It got some damage but its body regrew itself very fast. It saw him and slithered toward him quickly. He flew up higher to avoid its attack.

Solaris used “Light Beam” to attack and distract it from Ilario.

Ilario activated “Ardeat” with wider radius to attack it again. It got more damage and its body still regrew itself but slower than the first attack.

Meanwhile, Solaris was using “Light Beam” to burn its body continually. It made Hydra’s body regrow itself more slowly. It confused with the attacks from Solaris because it could not see Solaris. Even if the spirits got attacked, they did not get any damage from physical attack.

Ilario activated “Solis Breath” to burn at Hydra continually.

Both of Ilario and Solaris were burning Hydra. Its body regrew itself slower rate because it got hard damaged from burning nonstop. It could not attack back to us but breathed poison toward Ilario when it had chance.

Suddenly, the Basilisks were slithering toward us very fast, they surrounded us and breathed poison.

Luna used “Light Beam” to burn them but she could not resist their numbers. There were many of them showed up continually and surrounded the area where Ilario and Hydra were fighting. They saw Ilario was flying in the air, they breathed poison densely.

Ilario got affected from poison even he was flying high.

“Solaris, help me burn Hydra. We have to kill it first. Luna, burn the Basilisks and drive them out of this area. Their poisons were so dense. We need more time to kill Hydra,” mind communicated Ilario.

Ilario inhaled the poisons even ‘Wind Barrier’ could not blow it all away because the poison was too dense.

The Basilisks were slithering toward us continually, it seemed like they got back to us after we attacked and destroyed their nest.

Ilario forced himself to burn Hydra continually. We took time for a while until we killed Hydra and destroyed dark magic stone.

Ilario inhaled too much poison and coughed blood. He flew to the sky far away from the poison area. He activated “Recover” to recover himself from poison and “Instant Heal” to heal himself.

Meanwhile, Solaris went to help Luna to burn the Basilisks.

This fight exhausted us very much. We used much magic power to burn them.

Ilario use “Light Absorption” to absorb light energy, then gave his magic power to both of Luna and Solaris.

“I think we should retreat for now. We were too exhausted to keep fighting with them,” mind communicated Ilario. He wanted to get some rest after he got affected from poison. He worried that he might lose his consciousness very soon.

“We agreed with you. They came nonstop,” mind communicated Solaris.

We retreated and flew out of the advance zone. Ilario lost his strength on the way. Fortunately, Solaris caught him before he fell from the sky. Solaris took him back home with light speed. They knew that he could not stay conscious for long.

When we reached home, Luna activated “Recover” to him again.

“You forced yourself and overdid it. You got large quantity of poison. At this rate, you can die instantly if you did not possess healing magic power,” said Luna angrily.

Ilario wanted to say sorry to her but he felt asleep after she used her power to recover him.

After he opened his eyes, he found Luna and Solaris were resting beside his bed. They worried about him and protected him all the time, even they knew that the house has protection barrier.

“How are you feeling?” Luna asked.

“I’m feeling better,” Ilario said.

“You slept for 2 days,” Solaris said.

“I’m really sorry to make you two worry,” Ilario said, “and thanks for protecting me.”

“Don’t mention it. Just take more rest,” Luna said.

Ilario completely recovered after he rested for few days. He wanted to find the effective way to resist poison. He thought about the other people who have no healing magic power, they have high possibility to die when they got poison like him.

“How can I improve myself to resist all the poison?” Ilario asked.

“You just need a lot of magic power. I felt that your magic core rapidly increasing as time goes by. It even increased when you were exhausted from fight. I think you need more 3 years to be able to activate “Resistance” automatically and resist all kinds of poisons. You need to be more careful for the time being,” Luna said.

“I got it,” Ilario said and asked, “Is it possible to make magic stone which has resistant ability? You see, most of humans in the world I came from did not possessed healing magic power and I have to fight together with them. How could they fight with this kind of monsters?”

“It’s possible but there is a limit to the quantity of magic power, and It’s up to the strength and kinds of magic stones as well. The most effectiveness is light magic stone but it’s quite rare. You can use water magic stone instead, it’s easier to find. Its energy can use for purifying poison and dark energy but it’s not good as light magic stone,” Luna said.

“So, I need to make a mask to prevent poison inhalation, right?” said Ilario.

“Yes, it was a good idea for now” said Luna.

Ilario made a mask with the things he had in his possession. He cut his old clothes in triangle shape many pieces, then pierced through the 2 corners of the triangle cloths. He cut some part of leather in shape of rope to tie in all the triangle cloths together. He made it length enough to be able to tie his head when he needs to wear it.
