《Make Me Love Again (THE VAMPIRE DIARIES)》THE LAST DANCE (PART TWO)

After I spoke to Alaric I went outside to get some air, when I came back in I hear voices.
"What's going on, guys?" I hear Jeremy ask as I go to walk back to the dance.
"You okay, Gilbert? You don't look so good." I hear, and start to go back to the direction I hear the voices from.
"Dude, seriously? Wrong day, wrong guy." I then here Jeremy say as I come round the corner. I see them fighting so I run over knocking out two off the boys who are trying to attack him. Then more boys come over to him and I start to get really mad, my eyes turning purple and my wolf fangs coming out. Just as I prepare to attack, a voice called out.
Before anything can further escalate Damon and Stefan run in. "Hey idiots!" Damon says as he reaches us in the hallway. He then looks to me "What the hell are you?" He says slightly frightened, but before I can answer one of the boys pulls out a crossbow and shoots a stake in Damon's direction. Before it reaches him I catch it, and I look up to notice all of the other boys have pulled out weapons of their own.
"Let me guess...Klaus says hi?" Damon says sarcastically before Stefan rushes over to the boys and hits them knocking them out. Damon goes over and grabs another one of the boys and picks up a stake ready too kill him.
"No, no, no, no, don't kill him. He's compelled." Stefan interrupts him before the boy is going to be killed.
"So?" Damon says with attitude like taking an innocent life does not matter at all.
"So, the whole thing's a distraction. Go find Bonnie and Elena. I got this. Go." Stefan says rushing to get his words out. I grab the boy off of Damon and throw him up against the lockers immediately knocking him out.
"Are you going to tell me what you are doppelgänger number 3." Damon asks me in a snarky tone.
"It's Aria and not that it is any of your business but I am a werewolf and a witch." I tell him leaving him shocked before I begin to walk away, now knowing that 'Remy is safe.
I watch as Aria come in with her brother, with a smile on her face. I can't wait to get out of this town and take her with me. As Dana comes onto the stage and announces the shoutout from me to her, a ghost of a smile appears on her face as if she was almost happy for it. After a small while her brother wonders off with the Bennet witch and she makes her way over to me.

"Hi." She says as she reaches me. "We need to talk." She continues as she then looks at me.
"What do we need to talk about Aria?" I ask trying not to stare at her for too long.
"About my Aunt Jenna." she responded. However before I can get a word in she says. "If you break my aunt Jenna heart I will break your face, am I clear. I mean this in the nicest way possible." she threatens me.
"Crystal." I reply slightly scared of her, even though I would never admit it. "Good." she replies before going over to the other side of the gym.
I begin my plan to get rid of the Bennet witch, and go and get Elena's attention.
"Elena!" I call out to her in a fake worried tone getting her attention.
"What is it?" Elena asks nervously.
"He has Jeremy." I say continuing to fake worry.
" What?!" Bonnie and Elena both yell in worry towards their boyfriends and brothers situation.
"Yeah, Klaus has Jeremy. Come on." I say getting them to follow me out of the side door going out into the hall way.
"Okay, so where are you taking us?" Elena slowly questions me getting a bit suspicious.
"Just a little further." I say before coming to a stop.
Wait...Something's not right." Elena says quietly under her breath.
"Where's Jeremy?" The Bennett witch says in a threatening manner which makes me laugh and stop walking.
"I just had to get away from that dance. The sixties, ugh. Not my decade." I say continuing to laugh. "I mean, whose call was that, anyway? I much prefer the twenties. The style, the parties, the jazz." I continue to say trying to get them to work out that I am not Alaric.
"Are you on vervain?" Elena stupidly asks me not getting the hint yet. "Now why would you ask me that question, Elena?" I mock her in return. "He's being compelled." Says continuing to guess the wrong answer to what has happened to me.
"Nope. Try again." I say
"What's going on?" Elena questions me.
"Okay, I'll give you a hint. I am not Alaric." I say as a smirk spreads across my face.
"Klaus!" yells out Elena in fear, and I give a big smile.
" Surprise!" I say to her as fear spreads across her face.
"Oh, no. No, it's not possible." Elena says trying to deny the truth. "Just relax, Elena. I'm not here to hurt you. You're not on my hit list tonight." I tell her calmly before turning to the Bennet witch. "But you are." I tell her as I begin to walk towards her, but I am then thrown up against the wall with her powers. However, I feel no pain so I immediately get back up.

"Now, did I mention that I knew a witch? You're gonna have to hit me a lot harder than that." I say antagonising her so that things would all go to plan and she would use all of her power. As I begin to walk back towards her I am then thrown up against a glass case and glass shatters everywhere.
"By all means...Fire away!" I say whilst getting up and going to walk back over to her."If you kill this body, I'll just get a new one. Maybe Jeremy." I tell her as she turns around to Elena.
"Go. Run. Run!" Bonnie tells Elena and they both run off through the doors that she then closes with her magic.
I don't follow them knowing that Bonnie would be back soon. I go get the knife from the history class before returning to the hallway. Around ten minutes later she turns back up.
"What took you so long? Now, do you want to do this the easy way or the hard way?" I ask her as she breaks my wrist of the hand I was holding a knife in and then it drops to the floor. I just grab my hand and twist it back around until it went back into place.
"The hard way. Got it." I pant out in slight pain and I get back up. She then continues to use her magic to break my bone, and I let out a large groan.
"What? You'd kill your favorite history teacher?" I say to antagonise her enough to continue.
"It's what Alaric would want. And he'd want you to suffer first." Says Bonnie trying to justify killing Alaric to kill me. When I look over to her I see blood running down her face from her nose.
"Look at you." I say to her with faux sympathy before continuing to provoke her to continue
"Is that all you got?" I say to her.
"Let's find out." She says with confidence, sparks fall from the lights above as she uses more magic. Loud knock ripple from the gym doors that are being held closed. I look over to see the doppelgänger trying to get in the gym which seem to be ignore by Bonnie as she continues. I look over to her noticing she is getting weaker, all of a sudden she fall on the floor dead. And I vamp speed out of the school.
"Damon! Hey, I got your message, I can't find anyone. Where's Elena, where's Bonnie?" Jeremy says as we make our way to Damon, me refusing him to go do anything on his own.
"We need to have a little talk." Says Damon in a serious matter before he tells Jeremy about Bonnie.
He tells him about how she faked her death to trick klaus into thinking she had died, and that she was now at the witch house.
"Where are you going wolfy." Damon questions me as I go to follow Jeremy. "There is an original hybrid running about, do you really think I am going to let my brother outside on his own, where danger could be around any corner, I don't think so." I ask him in a sarcastic tone, before turning round and catching up with 'Remy.
"You sure it's safe here?" Jeremy asks Bonnie when we arrive at the with house, obviously worried about her.
"Yeah, I'm sure." She replies reassuringly whilst stroking his shoulder. Then her turns around and gets something out of his bag before placing it on the floor.
"What is that?" Bonnie questions Jeremy. "It is MiFi. If we're gonna be stuck here, then we might as well have Internet." Jeremy tells her as a slight frown forms on her face.
"You don't have to stay down here with me." She tells him with a small smile even though I can tell she wants him to stay.
"Hey, look, I'm not letting you out of my sight." 'Remy tells her sternly before clicking buttons on the computer.
"I...I need you to talk to Elena for me. Tell her how sorry I am for what Damon and I had to do." Bonnie tells him in a whisper.
"Well, um...Why don't you tell her yourself?" Jeremy tells her and passes the laptop to Bonnie.
Before the call is made, "I will take that as my queue then." I tell them both before turning around to leave. As I am about to leave I hear "Thank you." coming from Bonnie a kind smile gracing her face.
I turn around " Your welcome." I say before turning back around, and leaving the witch house, heading home to bed.

Every citizen of the sky-cities of His Majesty's Star-Empire knows that a ship, both sky- and star-, is more then just a few bits of metal. It is the grand sum of it's hull and the crew that sail it. Every sailor knows that there is one more component that the city-bound folk ignore at their own peril: the soul of the ship. That it takes both man and hull to make a true ship, and that neither alone serve well or for long. In 8225 Lord Jeffrye Saltonstall the Fourth, Political Lord of the Surveyor's Corps, demands semi-automated ships to 'reduce the loss of life among our brave crews', manages to convince the other politicians and bureaucrats to fund them, and gets the Office of Ship Construction to sign off on the ships as structurally sound. By 8235, the remaining seven Explorers are are commissioned. Lord Saltonstall managed to find crews for six of them but at the cost of mass resignations. The Night Horse, last of the Explorer class, sat in reserve as her sister-ships served well enough despite ill luck and misfortune. The Office of Ship Construction quietly issues notice that no more semi-automated ships are to be built and that all active Semi-automated ships are to be quietly retired and broken up for scrap over the next ten years. The Night Horse, all but forgotten, is quietly brought back into active service. Recruiting a crew for her proves another matter entirely. What poor or desperate fool would willingly sign on to crew, much less command, a cursed ship and spend months or years in deep space? Well, you would, of course.
