《Make Me Love Again (THE VAMPIRE DIARIES)》KLAUS

I was standing at the door talking to Maddox about getting my body to Mystic Falls. Whilst Katerina was making coffee.
"I'll be back as soon as I can." Maddox tells me as he starts to get his things ready to retrieve my body.
"Yes, do hurry. I'm anxious to get out of this body. And if you get hung up, call me. You know how impatient I get." I tell him in a slight threatening tone as he leaves and I close the door behind him.
"Where is he going?" Questions Katerina as she hands me a mug of coffee.
"To retrieve me. So I can get out of this bad hair-do." I tell her although it is none of her business.
"Are you sure that's a good idea, Klaus?" Katerina questions me nervously, twiddling with her thumbs.
"Well, the full moon is almost upon us." I say as I place the moonstone on the table in front of me. "I've killed the witch, I have the moon stone, and the doppelgänger is waiting in the wings. There is still my doppelgänger soulmate that isn't human but that can be sorted out later. Ohh, I am ready to break this curse." I continue to tell her.
"And why would you do that here? There's so many people that would try to stop you. Your soulmate is a doppelgänger?" Katerina asks with slightly nervously, getting more shocked towards the end,but I could still here the curiosity in her voice.
"Because I have to. It's the birthplace of the doppelgänger." I tell her snakily, ignoring the question.
"I didn't realize that was a requirement." She says continuing to slightly fidget under my eye contact.
"Well, how could you? You betrayed me and fled England before I could give you the details, Katerina. But I did find your birthplace and I slaughtered your family. So I guess we're cool. Let's just hope that Elena isn't as stupid as you were." I tell her still quite annoyed of the events that happened five centuries ago.
"She won't run. She'll die before she lets anyone that she loves get hurt." She informs me even though I already am aware of it.
"And that's exactly what I'm counting on." I tell her before walking towards her slowly, bending down to her height.
"You can't leave until I tell you to." I compel her before turning around and leaving the apartment.
I was sitting in the kitchen of my aunt Jenna's house, whilst she is going to call Stefan about why she has been told to stay away from Alaric. I was desperate to tell her about everything that was going on, but I could not risk her thinking anything bad about me. I know it I selfish but I can't risk losing anymore family because of what I am.
"Hello?" I listen in to the conversation and hear Stefan say as he picks up the phone for Jenna.
"Hey, Stefan. It's Jenna." She replies to him, slightly nervous about why she has been asked to stay away from Alaric.
"Jenna, hey." Stefan replies sounding in a slight rush.
"Where's Elena? And Jeremy? No one's answering their phones." Jenna Asks Stefan feeling confused.
"Ah, Elena's not here at the moment. Is, uh, is everything okay?" Stefan asks her.
"She left me all these weird messages telling me to stay away from Rick. What's going on?" She questions him.
"It's really hard to explain over the phone, but, um, she was hoping that you could stay on campus for a little while longer." He asks her, and I could hear the slight hope in his voice.
"Oh, that's kinda hard to do from my kitchen." Replies Jenna sarcastically.
"Wait, you're home?" He questions in a slight worried tone.
"Yeah. I came back to see my niece that has just come home, I couldn't leave her alone with Elena, Jeremy and John. Elena hates her. What's going on? Where's Elena? I'm supposed to meet Ric at the Grill for lunch, to talk." She re-asked the questions hoping to get an answer out of Stefan
"Jenna, listen to me carefully. Whatever you do, do not meet Alaric at the Grill. I'm going to come over right now and I'll explain everything." Stefan says before hanging up the phone on Jenna.
Around an hour later Stefan turns up at the door and Jenna lets him in
"Hey, Jenna. Thank you so much for not going to the Grill." Stefan says in relief.
"Um, Stefan..." Jenna starts to say but before she could finish I grabbed Stefan's hand dragging him into the next room.
"I don't want him near Jenna, we need to get him out, but I don't want to scare Jenna, or otherwise I would have forcibly removed him myself" I tell him in a hushed voice to avoid prying ears.
"I know, I won't let him hurt her, we better get back in there before anything happens" he tells me softly before gently grabbing my wrist and taking me back to the hall where Jenna still stood.
"No, listen. I can explain." Stefan tells her, and Jenna glances above his shoulder, seeing her look that way he turns around to see Alariklaus there.
"Hi, Stefan. How's it going?" Says Alariklaus with a broad smile spread across his face.
We were all sitting in the kitchen whilst Alariklaus chopped up food with a large knife. Stefan, Jenna and I just sit watching him.
"You know, I find chopping...calming. The feel of the blade in the hand, maybe." Alariklaus says whilst still chopping painfully slowly.
"I'm still waiting for someone to tell me what the hell's going on." Jenna says starting to get annoyed
"Well, would you like to tell her, Stefan, or should I? Or how about you tell her Aria?" He asks us trying to provoke something, out of anger my eyes flicker purple and I immediately place my head on the table to cover it up.
"Tell me what?" Jenna demands
"Do you believe in vampires, Jenna? No?" Alariklaus asks Jenna whilst beginning to laugh. "Well, who does, right? But believe it or not, they do have a place in our history. And as a history teacher, I find them fascinating." He says still laughing.
"Why are we talking about this?" Jenna questions him angrily.
"Well, you've been angry with me for keeping secrets, and this is one of my secrets. I'm obsessed with vampires. There. I said it." He says still in a jokey tone.
"Are you joking?" Jenna asks him sternly.
"Not at all. How about you, Aria, Stefan? Are you a fan of vampires?" He asks us.
"In literature. Bram Stoker. It's dense, but I appreciate it." Stefan says monotonous.
" I always loved twilight, especially Edward, was not much of a Jacob person" I say as I lift my head of the table, now being calm enough to keep my eyes normal.
"Hmm. Did you know that vampires are the oldest creatures of the night? Except for werewolves, of course." He says.
"Werewolves. Werewolves. Now I know you're joking." Jenna replies in disbelief.

"You know, I've read that there's an Aztec curse on both species that keeps werewolves slaves to the Moon and vampires bound by the Sun. Isn't that right, Stefan? You know, they say these creatures would do anything to have this curse broken and that they wouldn't care who they had to kill to do it." He says tauntingly to Stefan, not asking me this one. I look over to Jenna who looks alarmed.
We were now all sitting round the dining table, in a awkward silence that fills the room.
"Oh, I know this all sounds so crazy, but...vampires are real. Would you care for some more wine?" Alariklaus continues to go on before getting up to go get another bottle of wine for Jenna.
"Get out." Jenna demands to Alariklaus.
"Excuse me?" He questions her in disbelief.
"I don't know what it is you're trying to do or why you're saying these things, but..." Jenna continues to say before she is cut off by Alariklaus.
"Jenna..." Alariklaus says slowly.
"I said get out!" Jenna yells at him now getting mad at his refusal to leave. Stefan then begins to get up.
"You heard her." Stefan says behind Jenna emotionless, as I sit there desperately trying to calm myself down so I don't scare Jenna.
"I'm afraid I don't want to." Alariklaus says flippantly, refusing to move.
Jenna now having enough stands up and says "Fine! I'll go."
Alariklaus picks up a knife off the counter, and pointing it toward Jenna in a threatening manner.
"You're not going anywhere." Alariklaus klaus says before my temper gets out of hand. I grab him and slam him up against the wall, and use my strength to take the knife off of him, and place it against his throat.
"Aria" Jenna screams after she sees this action.
" get her out of here before I loose control Stefan I don't want to hurt her or for her to see that, take her to yours now Stefan" I say to him before turning back around
"You can't kill me, Aria." He says threateningly to me.
"Watch me!" I say placing the knife harder on his throat
"Any day now Stefan would be nice" I say sarcastically trying to get him to leave.
"Aria!" Jenna yells again at me again.
"I may not have a witch protecting me today, but if you kill this body, what's to stop me from choosing Jenna as my next one?" Says Alariklaus threateningly and I turn around again.
"Stefan ,Jenna, go." I demand my eyes flashing purple.
"But you're...you..." Jenna stutters out.
"I said go!" As Stefan and Jenna run out of the house.
"You won't Kill me love, you don't have it in you . Just remind Elena how easy it will be for me to get my revenge if she tries to stop me from breaking this curse." He tells me.
" what makes you think I can't kill you" question him curiously.
A gentle smile sets upon his face, "I have heard you and your sister don't get along, so why would you protect her, you know I can't use you in the sacrifice, because your not human. Would you mind sharing what you are love, I am very curious?" He asks me.
"Not that it is any of your business I am a witch and a werewolf, and your right, Elena and I don't get on, so why I am I protecting her? Why don't I feel that I want to kill you."I say removing the knife and letting him off of the wall and he looks slightly shocked. Then I compose myself again.
"Don't go near Jenna again or then we won't have a problem" I say placing the knife of the table leaving to go to the Salvatore house.
I walk into the library in the Salvatore house at the same time as Elena. I see Jenna sitting teary eyes on the sofa there.
"Oh, Jenna, thank God." Elena says as she entered the room.
"No." Jenna says in disbelief, about everything about the supernatural, whilst I still stand out of eyesight not ready to talk to her yet.
"I'm so sorry. I never meant for any of this to happen." Elena said to her.
"When I was little, your mom used to tell me bedtime stories. Stories about vampires. I never thought that what she said could be true." Jenna said with tears still running down her face.
"It is true, Jenna. I should have told you. I thought that if you didn't know, you'd be safe. But then things got so out of control and everything I had done to keep you out of it, it just blew up in my face." Elena said trying to comfort her, keyword here trying.
"Who else knows? Jeremy?" Jenna asks her and Elena gave her a short nod.
"John? And what is Aria, I have never seen her like that before, do you know what happened at the house." Jenna continues to question Elena.
I take that as a queue to make my appearance in the room. "I never meant to scare you Jenna, i hid what I was from you as it was what was best." I tell her and she looks up to me in slight fear.
"I am not scared of you Aria, just why didn't you tell me I thought we had more trust than that"she tells me and I have a look of slight hurt on my face.
"Grayson and Miranda destroyed me, I was told that I was an abomination, I just didn't want you to think any different of me, so I hid the truth, I am sorry" I tell her my voice getting quieter the more I talk and Elena just gave me a glare.
"You are a monster." Elena mutters under her breath. I choose to ignore this.
I get pulled onto a hug by Jenna "I understand" she whispers to me.
"We were just trying to protect you." Elena continues to talk as I sit next to Jenna.
"Protect me?" Jenna questions sarcastically, go Jenna!
"I'm so sorry. I will tell you everything." She says gently to Jenna. Jenna tries to get away from her.
"No, Elena...I am the one who's supposed to be protecting you and Jeremy." Says Jenna and I could hear the hurt in her voice.
"I know, but there's nothing that you could have done. There's so much more to it..." say Elena trying to defend her actions.
"No, this is-- this is so...I don't know how...it's.." Jenna stutters out in tears.
"I know, hey." Elena says.
"Why didn't you tell me?! I'm scared." Jenna says embracing me in a hug trying to calm down.
"I know. I know. I know, hey. Hey. I'm sorry. Jenna, I am so, so sorry." Elena says to her, gently rubbing her shoulder. Then Jenna nudges her off.
"Is she gonna be okay?" Stefan asks her as we both leave the room together trying to avoid all conversation with each other.
"She's in shock. I tried to tell her as much as I could, but I barely scratched the surface." Elena said in a worried tone towards the end.
"I'm so sorry, Elena. I hate this." Stefan tells Elena sincerely.
"It's not your fault, Stefan. It's mine. Anyway...I have to go back to Elijah." Elena says quickly changing the subject, however before they continue i pipe in with "who's Elijah?" I ask mostly to Stefan. "He's another original" he replies with a small smile, before turning his attention back to Elena.
"Wait, what? No, no!" He shouts at her.
" Stefan, I promised him that I would return. I can't break that promise." Justifying her reasons behind her choice.
"Oh." Stefan sighs nodding.
"I'll be okay." She reassures him, and starts to head to the door but Damon and Andie walk towards her
"Where do you think you're going?" Damon asks her sternly.
"Back to Elijah." She says flippantly going to walk out.
"No." Damon says sternly.
"Get out of my way, Dam..." Elena says, cut off by Damon grabbing her arm.
"If you so much as try and take a step out of this house..." Damon threats her.
"Damon, easy." Damon's blood bag Andie says trying to calm down the situation.
"Stay out of this, Andie." Damon tells her.
"Let her go." Stefan tells Damon.
"Are you kidding me? We just got her back." Damon asks Stefan in disbelief, and Stefan grabs Damon's arm.
"You heard me. I said let her go." Stefan repeats to Stefan.
"That's twice today you've stood in my way. I wouldn't try a third." Damon tells him before walking off.
"He will come round eventually Stefan, he has to" I tell him gently pulling him into a hug.
" Thank you Aria" he says returning the hug.
I walk in to the apartment to see Katerina sitting on the sofa with loud music playing in the background.
"You mind turning that down?" I ask her in a grumpy way, she grabs the remote and turn down the music.
"Why so grumpy?" She asks me uninterested.
"Well, this body has outlived its usefulness." Tell her sitting at the table.
"Do you want a drink?" She suddenly asks me.
"No, Katerina, I don't want a drink." I tell her in a flat tone.
"Come on. It might loosen you up." She tells me in a flirty tone. Now having enough I grab the bottle out of her hand. I then throw the bottle against the wall smashing it.
"What I want is for you to sit down and shut up." I compel her and she goes and sits on the sofa. Maddox then walks in the room.
"Maddox, what took you so long?" I asked him slightly happier than before.
"You've got a lot of luggage." Maddox tells me, as two compelled men enter with the luggage, and Greta enters too.
"Greta. Finally." I say slightly annoyed of their lateness.
"Hello, love. Nice body. You ready to get out of it?" She tells me flirting, which I ignore. As two other men walk In with a giant wooden crate. Katerina looks over at them.
Time to get back into my own body.
I was sitting in the library watching Damon and Andie talk whilst he had cup of bourbon in his hand.
"You don't have to be so mad at your brother. You know, he's worried about Elena, and..." Andre says to him, trying to calm down the problems between them.
"Just go, please." Damon monotonously begs her.
"I know you're worried about her, too." She continues to go on.
"Andie. Go." Damon says sternly.
"Okay." Andie whispers in defeat, leaving the room, before entering again.
"Tired of your little play thing already?" Stefan asks Damon tauntingly.
"Don't start with me, Stefan. She's just my distraction." He says plainly before looking back to his drink.
"She's a person. You're victimizing her." Stefan says like he wants to get on Damon's nerves.
"You should be thankful she's here. She keeps me from going for what I really want." He says threatening him.
I cut in with "Oh please stop antagonising each other." Which is ignored.
"You're right. Thank you for being in love with my girlfriend." Stefan says sarcastically. Damon placed his glass down on the table before standing up.
"And there it is." Damon says to hi
"There it is. You know, you can be in love with Elena all you want...If it means that you'll protect her. But I have the one thing that you never will." Stefan says threateningly.
"Oh, yeah? What's that?" Damon asks questionably.
"Her respect." Stefan says.
Damon punches Stefan so hard that he is hit i into a book shelf that breaks. Stefan gets up and rushes over Damon. However, before the reach each other, I stand in between and grab their shirt collars.
"Stop fighting, bloody hell your brothers, she is just a girl there is more than a billion of them, don't let her get between your bond" I tell them, before throwing them apart. That just look at each other but don't continue to fight. They look over to see a man and Elena enter the room.
I just hope that they sort out their problems before it breaks them apart.
"Now you've invited him in?" Damon say as I enter the room. But that is not what I notice, I notice another doppelgänger in the background, she was different. It took me a minute to realise who she is.
My mate.
The one I am destined to be with.
The one who I would protect forever.
"Elijah and I have renewed the terms of our deal." I heard Elena say as I am pulled out of my thoughts, knowing I would speak to my mate later.
"Really?" Damon asks her in shock.
"The two of you will come to no harm at my hands. I only ask for one thing in return." I say to them formally.
"What?" Damon asks.
"An apology." I tell them.
"A what?" Damon says stunned, and Stefan walks closer to me.
"I'm sorry for the part that I played in your death. I was protecting Elena. I will always protect Elena." He says to me.
"I understand." I tell him honestly as all eyes fall to Damon in the room, as I notice that my mate has left.
"The sacrifice is going to happen, Damon. Bonnie will be able to kill Klaus without hurting herself and Elijah knows how to save my life. I told you I'd find another way. And I did." Elena tells him.
"Is that true?" Damon asks her.
"It is." It is I reply keeping up my emotionless front. Damon then looks over to Elena.
