"Jentzen can I talk to you?" I ask "sure" He said. I walked outside of the bakery and he followed me. "I like you" I said "I like you too, you're a great friend" Jentzen says. Did he really consider me just a friend. What was I thinking. This was the worst idea I had ever had. "Yeah, you're a great friend too" I said. "Well, I'm gonna go back inside now" I said and I ran back inside the bakery. "Did you tell him you like him?" Clem asks "well, I tried. Then he told me that I was a great friend" I explained sadly.

Jentzen

So, I just really messed up. But what was I gonna do about it. Nothing. Because I was scared to tell her I liked her. I dont want to loose her in my life. I cant loose her, I thought to myself as I walked back over to the table that everyone was at. I was hoping that Sophie and I could just forget the awkward moment we had two minutes ago. And thankfully we did. "Come on guys, let's go walk around the city" Coco suggests and we all agree.

We were all walking around the City just waiting to find anything else to do. "Hey look, that shop looks pretty cool" Jentzen said. It was a vintage shop with vintage skateboards facing the window. "Do y'all want to go in?" I ask and everyone just nods their head yes. We all walk in and Jentzen and Walker gravitate towards the skateboards. I on the other hand walked over to the notebooks. I heard its good to write about your feelings every day. Just to help release extra stress. There were over 50 vintage looking notebooks in the store. But there was one specific one that cought my eye. It was one with a distressedeatger cover and the pages were almost yellow. It was already written in, yet for some reason I knew it was the one I wanted. Even though it was old and falling apart. I just couldnt stop looking at it. I picked it up and looked through it. The name of the previous owner was on the first page. Heather Nichole. My mom? "Sophie, are you ready to go?" Jentzen asks. "Yeah, I've just got to pay for something really quick" I said. I walked up to the cashier and grabbed twenty dollars out of my backpack. I hand the lady the twenty dollars but she just leaves it there. "Take the notebook for free, it's been in here for years" the lady says "really?" I ask "yes" the lady replies. "Thank you" I said and I ran out of the store joining my friends. We all agreed to just go back to the hotel for a bit before dinner. As soon as we got back to the hotel I opened the journal. There was a letter attached to the second page.

'Dear Heather,

I know it's been awhile since the last time I wrote to you, but I hope your doing well. Its different here in LA. Even more people then there were in New York. I hope all is well in New York, who knows maybe some day we will see eachother again. Our paths will cross and will lead us to eachother. Maybe one day I wont have to say I miss you. I hope that day is soon. But atleast we have our letters for now, that is if you ever write me back.

Love, Allen'.

Why didn't my mom ever write back? I guess this was just another question to add to my list of unsolved mysteries. Unless, I can actually solve this one.
