Sophie

I was currently getting ready for a walk, because I had nothing else to do at the moment. Everybody else was sleeping, because it was 2am in the morning. But, per usual I couldnt sleep. I decided to go on a walk, because what better time to go on a walk then 1 in the morning. I grab one of the hotel key cards and my phone along with some money. I lock the door behind me and start walking to the elevator.

I exit the hotel and begin my walk. I decide to walk back to the cafe that my friends and I went to earlier.

I entered the cafe and was greeted by Kelly. I sit down in one of the chairs nearby, not sure of what to order. I guess I was in such deep thought about what had happened earlier. The story Kelly had told us, me kind if admitting my feelings to Jentzen, and the notebook. I was thinking about why my dad would leave my mom and I, if he was such a 'good person'. Why didnt he stay, what made him think it was a good idea?

"He lives across the street" someone said from behind me. I turn around to see Kelly standing there "who?" I ask "Allen, your dad" She replies. Now I was beyond confused. "My dad's dead" I replied to her previous comment, a tone of sadness in my voice. I wasnt to sure where the sadness came from though. "He came in here tow days ago" Kelly said "what?" I ask.

I didnt beleive her my dad was dead. Definitely dead. Unless he wasnt. Now that I think about it, I didnt go to his funeral. Maybe, because there wasnt one to begin with. What if my mom was just trying to protect me?

"He found out that you were coming to visit with your school, and he asked me not to tell you that he was here" She explained. Then why did she just tell me? "I told you because, I know that deep down you miss him and need some sort of closure. Right?" Kelly said reading my mind. "Yeah, I would appreciate some closure" I replied "then go, now before it's too late!" Kelly explains "Okay" I reply.

I run out of the bakery, so fast that I'd dint see the person in front of me. "sorry" I said.
