A/N okay, I didn't think anybody would give a rats ass about this story, but apparently I was wrong. Thank you for reading, I hope you enjoy this new part! Have a great night, my sexy nuggets(it's a compliment).
Song for the chapter, since Gwen thinks she's dead: If I Die Young, by Band Perry
(A/N Cue Music)
I felt really heavy, like my veins were filled with lead instead of blood. I couldn't even move. The only thing I could do was breath and use my senses. I felt like I was floating on a cloud. A very fluffy cloud. I must be dead...
I sniffed at the air and detected different types of man cologne. It smelled really nice, not too overwhelming.
I strained my ears for noise. I could just barely make out the other set of steady breathing beside me. I could hear footsteps coming from above me. I must be on the main floor of heaven.
I wanted to look around, but I was scared of what I might see. That's when the full force of the scene hit me like a bus and my breath hitched. I tried to get my breathing back to normal as I fought off the flashbacks.
Who or what pressed against me before I died? The grim reaper?
Did I die?
Where am I? What happened to everyone?
I groaned a little, angered with all these questions and no answers.
"Guys, she's coming around!" The person beside me whisper yelled. I heard footsteps quietly but quickly descend down a flight of stairs to my left.
"What are we gonna do with her?" Another voice asked.
"She's involved in this now." Said a voice right next to me.
"But now she's in danger, she's human-"A voice chimed in.
"Which is exactly why we need to protect her." A voice that sounded most superior concluded.
I felt something colder than an ice cube grab my hand.
"Gwen? Gwen, can you hear me?"A familiar voice asked.
I wanted to answer all of the angels, yes, that's what they are, angels... But I couldn't find my voice. Instead, I twitched my fingers that were enclosed in the ice.
"She twitched her fingers, she can hear us..." Someone whispered.
"Gwen, do you feel like getting up?" The same voice asked. I thought about this. The heavy feeling was gone, but was I really ready to face reality? I had to sooner or later. I sqeezed the hand and opened my eyes. When I did, I saw the last people I was expecting to spot.
I sat up and glanced at each face. Each face just as attractive as the last. Each face smirking or grinning at me. Each face was from my private school. Each face was well known at my school because of the talent show. Their band was called One Direction and they were on their road to being major famous. The one holding my hand was Niall.
"What happened?" I groaned, looking into his deep blue eyes.
"What do you remember?" The one with green eyes asked me, Harry Styles.
I rubbed my head,"I was in social studies. A man broke through the window and pulled a gun out. He grabbed me and threatened to shoot me. He asked for... For you guys. I tried to fight him, to save the others, but he hit me and I fell. He started shooting then took aim at me. He was gonna shoot me so I closed my eyes. Right before I fainted, something pressed against me... Am I dead?"

"What?" They all asked, sharing confused glances.
"The thing pressing against me was death, or an angel... Am I in heaven? Why are you guys here with me, aren't you supposed to be helping God? Aren't you angels?"
They all exchanged looks with each other, then burst out laughing.
"I'm not kidding!" I shrieked. Their laughter dwindled down and they all looked at me.
"Well?" I demanded. What the hell was going on?!
"You aren't dead." Zayn told me.
"How? He was going to shoot me!"
"Well... Uh, promise you won't freak out?" Louis asked me. I shrugged and they all glanced at Liam, expecting him to explain this.
"Right before you got shot, Harry jumped in front of you-" Liam started, but I interrupted him.
"Oh my God, Harry! Are you okay? I'm so sorry-" I started crying and I hugged him.
"Well, here's the thing. Harry didn't get shot because he deflected the bullets. He fought to protect you." Liam continued.
"I don't get it..."
"We're vampires." Liam whispered.
I started laughing while they all stared at me, obviously confused.
"We are." Niall murmured to me.
"Haha, don't bullshit me. Vampires don't exist."
"Then explain to us how Harry saved you and didn't get shot." Harry countered.
"Maybe the shooter had sucky aim?"
"Standing that close? No way!" Louis protested.
"You aren't vampires."
"Yes, we are." Zayn persisted.
"And I'm a damn unicorn!"
"This is serious! Why don't you believe us?" Liam exclaimed.
"Because I'm not crazy?!"
"Are you saying that we're crazy?" Harry asked.
"If you're a vampire, prove it!"
"That's not a good idea..." Louis began, but Liam smirked and cut him off.
"If she wants proof, then let's give her proof."
"But what if we lose control?" Niall tensed beside me.
"I won't change, I'll keep her safe. Niall, hand her to me." Liam commanded. Niall squeezed me, then handed me to Liam as if I were a toddler they were passing around and not a full grown person. Liam wrapped his arms around me while the other boys all slowly backed away.
"What's wrong?" I whimpered, but they just shook their heads. Once they were several yards away and behind the couch, they stopped and I watched them with curiosity.
"Don't be afraid." Zayn whispered to me from behind the couch.
"Why would I?"
Liam tightened his arms a bit and whispered to me,"I'll keep you safe if they lose it. Don't worry..."
What are they talking anout? Seriously, why would I be afraid of them? I watched and froze at what I saw.
I watched in horror as their handsome faces morphed right before my eyes and I felt Liam tighten his grip a bit, reminding me that I was safe and that I wasn't alone.
The beautiful faces of the boys everyone loved had disappeared. All their deep eyes had changed into reddish gold, the gold swirling around in the blood red pools. Fangs poked out from behind their blood red lips, their georgeous tan skin had become pale as snow.
"This is our true form," Liam whispered. I just stared at the four vampires standing in front of me.

They all shuffled their feet anxiously, not taking their eyes off of me.
"Alright, you guys can change back." Liam informed them. The air shimmered around them as they all took on their human appearances. All except one. Louis stayed frozen to the spot. His eyes darkening.
"Louis, you can change back."
Louis just stared at me and took a step forward.
"Louis-" Liam warned but all Hell broke loose.
Louis started to blur towards me, vampire speed and all and the boys snapped up and tried to stop Louis, but he had the element of surprise and unknown speed. Liam turned me to his right side, putting him between Louis and me. Louis jumped over Liam and spun around to face me. He grabbed my arm and wrenched me out of Liam's grip. I cried out, but I heard Louis growl.
"Make a move and I'll devour her life," his voice came out demonic and a chill ran down my spine.
"Louis, man, this isn't you. Just let her go and we can take you hunting-" Harry began.
Louis snarled and cut him off. "No, I want her. Her blood..."
"Louis, I didn't want to do this, but... Let her go or I'll call Eleanor."
"You wouldn't."
"Yes, I would." Harry pulled out his cellphone and scrolled through it, then selected a contact. I heard the phone ringing and on the third ring, a female voice answered.
"Hey, Eleanor, it's Harry."
"Oh, hello, Harry."
"I'm calling about Louis-"
"What did he do this time? Did he run out of carrots again? I thought his fan base had it covered-"
"No. He's about to drain the life out of a young high school girl we just saved and-"
"What?!" She shrieked. "I'll be there ASAP!" The call disconnected and everyone stood in awkward silence. I felt Louis behind me, tense. His grip still hurt my arm, but I didnt say anything about it.
Just then, the front door burst open and an angry, young, beautiful woman stormed in and stopped right in front of Louis and me.
"Louis Tomlinson, you better let that girl go." She snarled.
I felt Louis's grip on me release immediately and Eleanor grabbed me from him. She handed me off to Liam, who wrapped his arm around me.
"Louis, what the hell?!" She shouted.
"Eleanor, I'm sorry, I guess I was thirstier than I thought..." Louis trailed off as the vampire side disappeared and he looked like a normal person.
Eleanor's expression softened a bit and she took his hand. "Let's go hunt, then."
They started to walk towards the door, but Louis stopped and wrapped me in an embrace. Liam stiffened beside me.
"Gwen, I'm so sorry I did that, I dunno what came over me. I would never ever hurt you on purpose." He kissed me on the cheek and I nodded. He released me, bade us goodbye, then left hand in hand with Eleanor.
Niall reached out and took my hand,"Are you okay?"
I wasn't sure. The boys were vampires. Mythical killers that don't exist. Louis might have killed me. I was in danger right now, even if they did save me. I saw the world vibrating around me, and I heard an out of place ripping sound. Liam took my hand and pulled me to the couch, but before we got there, my knees gave out and Liam had to carry me bridal style to the couch. He pulled a blanket off the back of the couch and wrapped me in it. He put his arms around me and the other boys gathered around us.
"I think she's in shock..." Harry said. I realized that that's why the world was vibrating, I was shaking violently. I was also sobbing, each sob jerking my body.
"Shhh, honey, it's okay. We would never hurt you. Ever." Zayn murmured, putting his hand on my shoulder. His dark swirling brown eyes pulled me in, and I felt myself calming down. I was sucking in air, taking deep breathes, and soon, I was calm.
"What are we going to do?" I whispered.
"What do you mean?" Harry asked.
"The school will notice our absense, my parents are expecting me... What happened after I blacked out?"
"Well, I guess we'll have to bring you back, but leave your window unlocked, we have to make sure you're okay, you're involved in this now. Niall saved you, but the cronie got away while we tried to keep the humans safe. He was a vampire, he probably ran back to his coven and blabbed about you. You're in danger now, but we'll keep you safe." Liam explained.
"What? Why? How am I important?"
Niall took my hand."You were different since the first day you were born, and that difference is the difference between life and death for humans like you, babe."
A/N hey guys, hope you enjoyed the chapter. Sorry it took so long, I had a mountain of homework.
I figure it only safe to warn you, I don't plan on having any sex scenes, sorry, its just... Creepy. I mean, if I were famous and I had ppl writing fan fiction about me having sex with them, it would scare the crap outa me. I'm gonna respect the gfs they have in real life, too, since I would be kinda pissed if someone cut my bf out of a story(not that I have a bf).
Also, follow me on Twitter, see how much of my life I waste, Jk. But seriously, follow me on Twitter.

Ghostified City
‘Ghostified City’ is a post-dystopian sci-fi tale, set in a fading world that might be a future version of ours, running out on autopilot into oblivion. Adaman Yimmand is a simple robofactory operator in The City who's working with robots and machines every day. He doesn’t even realise that he might not have met another actual human being in years. Everything begins when he breaks his routine for once and enters a bar where he meets Evelith. This pesky other person does not let him go after he has had his -rather terrible- beer, because according to her actual humans are much rarer than he’s aware of. And from then on ‘the genie is out of the bottle and won’t get back in’, to use her words: Adaman meets more people, and gradually he has no choice but to accept that the reality of The City is not what he always thought it was, and to face the darkness of a fading humanity on the brink of self-inflicted extinction. Is there any hope left for him, and for his species? I have selected 'sexual content' and 'traumatising content' to be on the safe side, because there is a stripclub-like venue in the background of the story, and an almost-extinct humanity that has institutionalised suicide which might be disturbing to some. Apart from that it's not really a heavy 'adult' story.('Ghostified City' is my first long story in English as opposed to my native language Dutch, and an earlier version was published on my fiction blog 'Oranderra' until I stopped updating. This is a slightly altered version of the first series.)
