Jungkook gasped as he woke up in pitch darkness. He didn't know where he was or who he was with now. The boy just couldn't help but to make his eyes scatter along the room in silence. Just then, he noticed he was laying over the same bed he shared with Jimin; but, the only difference in this place was the fact that there was no longer one window now… There was the glass windows like Jimin's penthouse in South Korea. Jungkook blinked his eyes desperately as the sun began to rise. His heart broke into many pieces as he recognized that he was back in his home country.

“Jimin!” Jungkook suddenly began to cry as he sat up and hugged his knees. Sobbing into them while he pressed his head down. Right after, he felt a small hand touch his back and that was enough to make his face turn towards the side where his eyes met with Suyong. The young child looked up at Jungkook and smiled happily to cheer the man up.

“Koo! We in Korea!!! Suyong born in Korea!” The boy stated happily as he stood up; showing his red footed pajamas as he then noticed his father was crying. “Pa told Suyong… Koo is Suyong real papa!” The boy spoke once more as he hugged Jungkook and wrapped his small arms around Jungkook's torso the best way he could. “Suyong always wanted a Papa…"

“I always wanted a son…” Jungkook carefully whispered and pulled his hands away from his face to bring Suyong into his own arms. “I love you Suyong…” Jungkook stated and this left the child to giggle happily. The boy's wishes were finally granted, however… Jungkook's wishes weren't. The man hoped to live with Suyong and Jimin together as they had their happily ever after. But this wasn't what he had in mind. The boy only told Jimin he would leave with Suyong if Jimin didn't follow. Yet, he didn't mean it like that.

“Suyong love Papa!” The boy whispered happily to his father's ear until his stomach growled. “Suyong also hungry…”

“Well, Suyong. I think we should leave this place and go see your grandparents. It's going to be hard, but it's worth a try, isn't it?” Jungkook asked as he caressed the boy's hair back carefully. “I don't want to be alone right now…” With that, a tear escaped Jungkook's eyes until Suyong rose his small hands to wipe away the tear.

“Suyong here…” Added Jungkook's son as the boy smiled to himself. Just then, Jungkook turned his head to see a letter sitting outside the veils over the same bed. Jungkook then stood up and tilted his head to pick up the letter. Written with his name over it. Jungkook sat down instantly and opened the letter to see it was from Jimin set right before they parted ways.

Just before Jungkook could open the letter, the boy waited. He set the letter into a small bag containing Suyong's toys as he then placed the bag on. “Let's visit Grandma and Grandpa, Suyong!” Jungkook tried to speak up into a cheery voice to assure Suyong he was okay, but deep down, he would rather sit and read Jimin's letter in tears just hoping he could have his lover back to kiss and hold hands. Even at night to cuddle when there is a thunderstorm.

Jungkook soon left the penthouse floor while he walked with his glasses over his eyes, black boots, a black sleeved shirt and loose Puma bottoms with white stripes falling down the sides. As the man carried Suyong; the child was dressed in blue denim overalls, a red sleeved shirt, and yellow timberlands. Jungkook carried a small backpack with Suyong's toys and the letter Jimin wrote to him of course. Hoping to see his parents after having the urge to cry over something that was no more. However, he had to be strong for his son from now on. As Jungkook soon boarded a few busses, He soon reached his parents’ house by walking for so long. The boy jogged up the brick steps to the house and knocked on the door to get at least one of them to open. Their trip to the house was perfect since Suyong got to feel the sun on his skin and hear cars and birds brush him by. It was nature and Suyong was happy to experience this new life Jungkook promised him.

As Jungkook stood at the porch, his father answered the door and his eyes widened to see Jungkook like this. “Jungkook?”

“Father… It's a long story, but let me explain… everything.” Jungkook mentioned as Mrs. Jeon walked up to the door to see the young boy Jungkook carried in his arms. Looking exactly like him; a precious and perfect boy.

The family sat down in the living room as Jungkook explained every heart aching part to his love life with Jimin and how Suyong came into the picture. Of course, the mother and father were very supportive. They were rich, but no one came before their love for Jungkook and now, their new love for their grandson; Jeon Suyong as well. After the talk, Jungkook felt a little better to tell his parents all about his struggles and they understood why Jungkook was here and apart from Jimin. Even if he loved him, the parents also believed their relationship was toxic.

Toxic was a word Jungkook never thought of associating the relationship he had with Park Jimin. He found love between them. But of course, he believed their love was misunderstood. No one could ever see their love through their own eyes and how much they've been through. No matter how many times Jungkook told his parents to clear up their thoughts on everything and listen with an open mind, he realized he was wasting his breath to explain the love Jimin had for him that was beyond compare. Now, It was forever unattainable and only available in Jungkook's dreams if he hoped to see his lover from before.

As Suyong ran around the house and played with his grandfather, Jungkook walked into his empty room and sat down with Suyong's bag. Finally having the strength to open it and read it to himself. Pushing up his glasses as the words on the paper seemed to carry Jimin's voice. The boy imagined hearing Jimin's voice as he read the first words in the long letter:

I know what you're thinking… You must hate me for parting ways with you so soon. I couldn't keep you here to suffer and my heart would always ache inside when I found myself looking at you. However, nothing came out of my blank stare. My imagination always seems to get the best of me and make me believe it's reality, my emotions never seem to surface at all, and my voice isn't the only one I hear in my head. But, the moment you stepped into my life, I just felt everything stop. The voices, the imaginations, the emotions went red until I finally heard my own heart beat from the feeling I gained. I was madly in love with you from the start and I still am.

My love for you is beyond compare. Looking back at when I kissed you the first time or took you out on our first date, will always feel like it was yesterday. Even on the first night we shared breaths underneath the pale moonlight to kiss and touch against out naked skins, it was always such a beautiful sight like the gleam in your beautiful round eyes when I told you that I loved you for the first time. Oh, you are as beautiful as the first time I saw you in person at the hospital. It was a magical day for me, was it for you too? If I had brushes and many canvases, I would paint all the colors in that beautiful smile. Forming such an elegant and sweet rainbow that has your name written all over it…

But, having to let you go for real this time killed me deep down to the point where I don't want to move on… And I never will.

I only want you to move on for Suyong's sake. Find yourself another. Bring them home, love them. Give them the love I couldn't give you myself… A girl or a guy, I hope they treat you better than the many months I've had you locked and trapped in my heart. Knowing that you were mine and no one could ever compare, I will sit here in my office and try to imagine that life you always told me about… and try to believe it's reality.

Oh god, I love you so much Jeon Jungkook. “Jeon Jungkook”… I’ve always loved the sound of your name and now I'll never hear it again unless I have the strength to whisper it completely without breaking out into tears. Do me a huge favor and take good care of your son, Suyong. He's such a beautiful boy and it doesn't take much to figure that out. Take him outside to play, take him to the beach, read him many stories and bake cookies with him… I'll try to imagine you both doing that in front of me as I sit down and read the newspaper while drinking a cup of coffee you just served me. Isn't that wonderful?

Stay in the penthouse for as long as you wish, I'll be paying for it and don't worry… There are no members swarming down the lobby anymore. Go on and make a friend or two! Also, I told Suyong everything so you wouldn't have to. He was awake throughout the trip there and I had no choice but to say where and why the two of you were leaving! Such a curious boy, isn't he? I guess he got that from you along with his adorable smile.

All in all, good luck with college Jungkook. I know you will be the best doctor there could ever be and the best father Suyong could ever have… also the best boyfriend/ husband someone will deserve as much as me. I'm sorry I couldn't be the perfect man you wanted me to be and it will hurt me everyday. But, please make it better by forgetting about me; imagine me as if I was just a pencil mark you've erased like I was the mistake I truly was. Don't try to call me now or reach me… I've cut off my number and switched to another so I wouldn't find a way back into your life. It's for the best. I will leave you alone forever now.

I love you… And I always will.

Park Jimin ❤️

Right as Jungkook finished the letter, his heart throbbed as he hugged it closer to his chest and let out the final tears he wanted to shed for Jimin. He cried screaming his lover's name into the pillow to silence himself and all he could ever hope was to feel Jimin's arms around himself holding him tightly. As Jungkook laid there; crying to himself, he suddenly looked back at the envelope that housed the letter and noticed there was an address where Jimin tried to scratch out with a pen; but must have purposely made it visible for Jeon Jungkook.

Jungkook instantly sat up and took out his phone to copy down the address. Right after, Jungkook rushed to the office within his parents’ house and took out a piece of paper along with a pen to write Jimin a letter. Even if Jimin didn't want to get back into his life, Jungkook wanted to tell him all about it like he was still in it.
