《Zodiac One Shots》More Than Friends (Virgo (f) x Capricorn (m))

(Capricorn's POV)
Me and Sagittarius walk down the street toward our houses. Sagittarius was texting while I'm digging through my my back pack. I pull out a piece of paper and a pen, sit down on the curb, and start writing.
Hi, Virgo... I wanted to tell you that you mean a lot to me and I really like you. You are amazing and I'm glad I know you and that you moved to town and went to my school in 6th grade. I would like to be something more than just your best friend... Love, Capricorn.
"No," I sigh as a shove the paper back into my back pack. I stare at the other rejects sitting in my back pack. I don't understand! Why can't I find a good way to tell Virgo I like her? I sigh heavily and get back up. We continue walking and talk about our days. Then, we arrive at Sagittarius' house and he goes inside, leaving me to walk alone.
I walk to my house and go in. My sister, Aries, is sitting on the couch, eating chips.
"Hey! How tf did you get home so fast? You're already in pajamas!" I say, taking a chip out of the bag.
"Cancer drove me here." She replies. I roll my eyes, she always talks about Cancer as if he's Superman.
"Whatever, Virgo's coming over to study in, like, ten minutes." I respond as I go upstairs.
I throw my back pack on my bed and change into more comfortable clothes. I grab a piece of left-over pizza as I wait for Virgo.
Virgo and me have been friends since middle school and ever since high school started, I've been feeling something for her. She's tall, pretty, smart and everything in between!

I hear the doorbell ring and I run to the door. I open it to see a sweet face with brown eyes and long, silky, brown hair. I blush at her beauty and lead her to my room. She does this thing where she skips every other step on the stairs, it's so adorable. She walks into my room and I go to the bathroom.
(Virgo's POV)
I walk into Capricorn's room and see papers falling out of his back pack, I pick up the papers and put them into his back pack. As I pick them up, I see my name and I begin to read the first paper.
Virgo, I can't tell you how much you mean to me! I care about you sooo much. I feel butterflies in my stomach when I'm with you! With love, Capricorn.
I flip through the papers and see another note.
Hi, Virgo... I wanted to tell you that you mean a lot to me and I really like you. You are amazing and I'm glad I know you and that you moved to town and went to my school in 6th grade. I would like to be something more than just your best friend... Love, Capricorn.
My eyes widen as I read each note.
Dearest Virgo, I really care about you. I never want to let you go. You are amazing and I like you. I like LIKE you. You are so pretty and you smell nice. Sincerely, Capricorn.
There was a lot of notes and I feel my face get hot as I read them all.
(Capricorn's POV)
I walk into my room and see Virgo whirl around, holding a stack of papers. I look at the papers and recognize them, the words flood through my mind. I feel a stab in my stomach, the embarrassment almost killing me.

"Is this true?" She asks holding the papers out.
"Y-yes... It's true, I like you. I like you a lot." I mutter, looking down at my feet.
She sighs before speaking, "This... This is really sweet and flattering, but I'm just not ready."
She puts down the papers and starts walking out. I grab her arm as she walks past me. "Wait! I-I love you, Virgo!"
She jerks her arm away and walks out. She looked... hurt. I don't know why. I try to go after her, but my legs won't move. I think about my life without her, and I jerk myself down the stairs and out the front door. I catch Virgo right before she got in her car. I grab her waist and pick her light body up. She squirms a little but doesn't pick a fight. I put her down and hug her tighter than I've hugged anyone before. I know that Virgo isn't the emotional type, but I need her, badly. I kiss her cheek, then kiss her lips with a fiery passion that was reserved for her. My stomach does a flip when she kisses back.
(Virgo's POV)
I pull away and stare into Capricorn's forest green eyes. I see the deep love that ran through his veins, and understand what love is a little more. I mean, I do love him, I just didn't know that my feelings towards him were love, until now. He has always been there for me and has never hurt me, he is kind and generous. I think back to all the memories we have together, and I think about the millions more we could have if I understood love, and accept that I love him. I hug him again and whisper, "I love you too, and I would love to be more than friends."
