《A Fiery Love: A Charlie Weasley Love Story》Chapter 41: It's Time

She wore a beautiful gown with a veil that made her look sophisticated and womanly. Her brown eyes were framed with long luxurious lashes and a slight hint of purple. Her lips were painted red and her cheeks were a rosy color. Everything about her was flawless. I reached out to touch this magnificent woman only to realize that I was just touching a mirror; the woman was me. I had never seen myself this dressed up before. I was pretty much unnoticeable, but that wasn't a bad thing.
"Oh Isabella..." I heard from behind me. Fleur was standing at the doorway holding mine and hers bouquets. "You are absolutely breathtaking!" Her eyes glistened with tears as she looked me up and down.
"Do I really look alright?" I asked looking back into the mirror.
"You're more than alright, you're gorgeous." She smiled and hugged me around my waist. "You ready to get married?"
"I think so." I said feeling my heart leap out of my chest. "Where's my mom?"
"Outside, why?" Fleur asked curiously.
"I need to ask her something. Could you go get her for me?" I tilted my head.
"Sure." Fleur set down the bouquets and walked out of the room.
I watched myself once again in the mirror. I felt as if I could do anything and anything was possible. I knew this was going to change everything between Charlie and I. We were going to become one. He was going to be my husband and I was going to be his wife. I was going to have him for the rest of my life. I knew I was ready for it, and I embraced it to the fullest.
"Is everything alright?" My mom asked from the doorway.

"Yeah everything's fine." I said walking towards her.
"You look beautiful." She said looking at my dress.
"Thanks Mom." I smiled and wrapped my arms around her. "Mom, would you walk me down the isle?" I whispered in her ear.
She pulled away and looked up at me surprised. Her eyes filled with tear and I could see the joy in her face.
"Of course." She embraced me once again.
"There's something I need to do before the ceremony happens." I said quickely.
"What is it?" She asked.
"I just need to go see someone really fast." I said smiling inside. "Please don't tell anyone."
"Just be back in ten minutes or that girl with the blonde hair is going to have a heart attack." My mom said gesturing outside the door.
"I will." I smiled and grabbed my wand. "Be back." And with that I apparated.
Charlie's POV
This was it! I was going to marry the woman of my dreams. Izzy was everything I could have ever asked for and more. Her beauty was more than just on the outside. She was the most kind and compassionate person I had ever met in my entire life. I felt like the luckiest man on this planet to be marrying such a wonderful person.
"You clean up good." Bill said joking around. "How are you feeling?"
"Good." I said feeling the knots in my stomach. "Ready to do this."
"Remember how nervous I was?" Bill said laughing.
"Yeah! I thought you were going to pass out or something." I chuckled at the memory.
"All the nerves go away the moment you look into her eyes." He smiled remembering seeing Fleur walking down the isle. "Things are going to change between you two." He clasped a hand on my shoulder.

"I know, and I'm ready for whatever changes happen." I smiled.
"Even kids?" He asked raising an eyebrow.
"Even kids." I shook my head. I really couldn't wait to have kids with Izzy, but I also wanted some time for just the two of us.
"You're going to be very happy Charlie." Bill hugged me, and that helped calm the nerves.
"Now look at that! My boys actually getting along!" Mum came from out of nowhere with Dad behind her. "Isn't that sweet Arthur?"
"Molly, don't embarrass the boy! It's his wedding after all!" Dad winked at me while placing his hand on Mum's shoulder. "You ready?"
"Yes." I took a deep breath and walked out the door.
Izzy's POV
"What do you think?" I asked knowing I wouldn't get an answer. "Today's the day Ced. I wish you were here to see it."
I watched as the flowers I put on his grave swayed slowly in the breeze. I couldn't help but wonder what life would have been like if he hadn't died, or even have become a Triwizards Champion. He would probably still be alive, but would this wedding dress that I was wearing be for him and not Charlie? I guess life plays out funny, yet strange.
"It's crazy that I'm getting married, huh?" I smiled at Ced. "You probably were the one who sent Charlie to me. I know you're watching over me. I love you Ced." I took a deep breath and pulled out my wand. "Time to get married."

The Complete Alchemyst book 1
You've heard of superheroes, seen them flying across the sky, destroying great swaths of cities and ending countless innocent lives in order to defeat great evils and world-spanning threats and sell lots of sponsorships and merchandising opportunities. This is a story about the guy that is not those heroes. A supervillain in a world where making the right friends and political contacts is what separates the good guys from the bad. The Alchemyst is a story about a normal guy in a crazy world that spends his time trying to follow his dreams and conscience, working on new potions, thinking about girls, and lifting heavy shit, while trying to stay under the radar of the superheroes, supervillains, and governments that want what he can do. And occasionally turning them into makeshift melee weapons. If you enjoy The Boys, the Aberrant roleplaying game, Mystery Men, Trashy romances, Arnold Schwarzenegger movies, or SAW you may enjoy this book. Please note that this book has extremely graphic and sometimes gross fight scenes, heroes as villains, villains as heroes, opinionated and often politically incorrect characters, some graphic sex scenes, dad jokes, dirty jokes, realistic depictions of romance and flirting, bondage and dominance themes, and more than a few cuss words when they are really appropriate. This is NOT a superhero genre deconstruction. Many heroes truly are heroes, and they don't all need to be destroyed to make a good story, but it does look into the dark side of superpowers and the unreasonable and often contradictory demands placed on exceptional people.
