《A Fiery Love: A Charlie Weasley Love Story》Chapter 42: I Know

The music began to play, and people began to move. I could hear my heart in my ears, and I was pretty sure if it wasn't for my mother holding my arm I would collapse onto the floor. I tightened my grip on my moms arm before walking out the door and onto the grass.
"Everything will be alright." She whispered into my ear. I took a deep breath and headed towards the crowd.
Everyone stood as I got to the edge of the isle. Happy faces watched me as I walked closer to the alter. I felt my cheeks grow red as all the eyes were upon me. I gazed down in front of me and my heart stopped. Charlie looked gorgeous. His eyes never came off me and a huge smile was plastered on his face. I felt my throat tighten, and I knew I was going to cry.
I didn't pay much attention to what the priest was saying. All I knew was that I had to say my vows and 'I do' later on.
"I've loved you since the day I met you." Charlie began. "You're beautiful smile entranced me, and I knew you were the person I wanted to spend the rest of my life with you. You're my best friend, my love, my everything. I promise to make sure you're happy and well taken care of for the rest of our lives together. I love you so much."
I was crying the entire time. His words were sincere and I knew he meant them with all his heart.
"Everything between us has seemed to move so fast. We met less than a year ago, but I know this is right. Charlie, I love you so much. You've been there through everything that's happened this past year, and if you can deal with that I know you can deal with anything else I get myself into."
The crowd laughed even though I wasn't trying to be funny. We said our 'I do's' and gave each other a passionate kiss. Everyone cheered and a few wolf whistles hollered out.
Charlie and I looked into each others eyes, and my stomach filled with butterflies. I knew he was the one and just the thought that he was now my husband sent chills up my spine. We walked back down the isle hand in hand with huge smiles on our faces. Once we were away from the crowd we hugged each other and kissed like there was no tomorrow.
Fleur was the first person to run towards us and give me a big hug. I still held Charlie's hand as I greeted and thanked people for coming. There were so many people that it was starting to get hard to keep up with names.
"Welcome to the family!" Said Ron lifting me up as he hugged me.
"Oh put her down Ronald." Said Hermione kissing my cheek. "You look so beautiful."
"Thanks guys." Was all I could muster up.
"You are so gorgeous Sis." I smiled big hearing Jaden's voice from across the way. He ran up to me and scooped me into his arms. I hugged him tightly around his neck and kissed his cheek.
"Put me down!" I said between giggles.
"Are you happy that you're finally married and nothing went wrong?" He winked at me.
"Relieved is more the word I was thinking." I laughing punching him on the arm lightly. "Where's dad?"
Jaden turned me around, and my dad and Claire were standing beaming at me. I felt my throat tighten up again and I was pretty sure I would cry. I walked over to my dad and hugged him tightly.

"Thanks for coming dad." With that the first tear slid down my face.
"I wouldn't miss this for the world." He hugged me tighter. "Where's your mom?" I was surprised he asked for her.
"She somewhere inside the house helping Molly finish cooking or something." I said gesturing towards the house. "Do you want me to go get her?"
"Um... No, I'll just see her later on." He said looking a little nervous. "You should get back to your guests. We'll be here until the end." He smiled and put an arm around Claire.
"Ok, see you guys later." I kissed his cheek and hugged Claire.
I walked back over to Charlie and he kissed the top of my head. I don't know what came over me, but I grabbed his face and kissed him passionately. Shouts and cat calls came all about us. Charlie put his arm around my waist pulling me closer to him.
"I love you." He whispered.
"I love you too." I beamed up at him.
"Ok love birds! That's enough!" Joked George. "Mum says she wants to see both of you in the kitchen."
Charlie took my hand as we walked towards the house. He stole kisses all the way to the door. We walked into the house seeing Molly and my mother huddled together looking at something.
"You wanted to see us Mum?" Charlie asked curiously.
"Yes dear. Sit down you two." Molly said pulling two seats out.
"Is everything alright?" I asked starting to get nervous.
"Everything is just fine." My mom said. "We wanted to give you two something."
My mom handed me a box and Molly handed Charlie a box. We opened them slowly but excitedly. Inside the boxes were pendants with two hearts entwined.
"If ever there is a problem between the two of you remember you are now one." Molly said on the verge of tears.
"I don't know what to say." I said looking at my pendant. "Thank you." I hugged my mom then Molly. Charlie did the same kissing Molly on the cheek.
"I love you Mum." Charlie said to his mom.
We walked out of the house wearing our pendants with pride. Charlie walked me over to a patch of roses that looked gorgeous.
"Let's take some pictures." He kissed my forehead. Out of nowhere a photographer started taking pictures of us.
It seemed like forever had gone by with all the pictures that were being taken. We took so many in every position that I wasn't sure what I was going to do with all of them. We even took silly pictures with all our friends that I knew I needed a bunch of those.
"Would you mind taking some pictures with me?" My dad's voice came from the side.
"I'd love to Dad." I smiled as everyone moved away to let my dad and me have some alone time to take our pictures.
"Aren't you forgetting someone important?" Jaden's voice boomed.
"How could we possibly forget you?!" I said making sure the sarcasm could be heard in my voice. "Get your butt over here you dork!" Jaden ran toward us and smashed me between him and my dad. Claire squeezed herself next to my dad and we posed together. After a few takes I could see my dad wanted to say something.
"Dad, is everything alright?" I asked curiously.
"Do you think you can get your mom? I want her in these pictures too." I was a little surprised by what he wanted, but I walked into the house and grabbed my mom. You could see on my mom's face that she was just as nervous about seeing my dad as he was.

"Hello Eva." My dad said looking deep into my mothers eyes.
"It's good to see you Peter." My mom seemed sincere about what she said.
"Let's take some pictures now!" Jaden announced making room for my mom in between us.
We laughed and smiled throughout the entire time we took pictures. It felt nice to finally have my whole family in one place at the same time.
Finally it was time to start the reception. A small band was hired to play soft music while everyone ate then pick up the beat for us to dance to. Charlie and I were still greeting people when the reception started. Half the people I had never met, but were friends of the Weasley family. We all sat down and ate the delicious meal that Molly had prepared for everyone. How she made so much to accommodate all these people I will never know. After the meal everyone was talking and waiting for the dancing to begin.
"Can we have the lovely newlyweds out on the dance floor for their first dance as a couple?" Asked the singer of the band.
Charlie and I walked nervously to the center of the dance floor waiting for the music to start. A soft tune began to play, and Charlie and I swayed to the beat of the song.
"You are so beautiful." Charlie whispered in my ear. He lifted my chin and kissed my lightly on the lips. "I love you so much Izzy."
"I love you too Charlie." I felt the tears streaming down my face, and didn't care that they were.
When the song ended the crowd cheered and applauded us. A fast, up-beat song began to play and everyone headed onto the dance floor. I danced with all the girls while Charlie got off the dance floor to talk to his brothers and Harry. Ginny and Hermione took turns turning and spinning me around. After about ten fast songs passed the singer announced it was time to throw the bouquet and garter. I had been dreading the garter part only because I knew the boys wouldn't let me hear the end of it.
A crowd of single women gathered behind me as I turned around. On the count of three I tossed up the bouquet and a shrills of screams came from behind me. Mary-Beth, one of Charlie's relatives, caught the bouquet. Her long brown hair was a different sight then what I was used to seeing in his family. A chair appeared and I was forced to sit in it. Charlie bent down in front of me and slowly began lifting my dress over my leg. Cat calls and wolf-whistles blared from all around us. Charlie put his lips to my thigh and kissed all the way up to the garter. I knew my cheeks were blazing red as he slid it down my entire leg using only his teeth. Finally it was off, and he threw it into a crowd of men. Jaden was the one to catch it. He and Mary-Beth danced together, but you could tell they were both embarrassed with the whole thing and couldn't wait to get away from each other.
Everything was going so great until something caught the corner of my eye. I turned quickly to see a figure heading to the side of the house where it was dark. Something told me to go see who it was. I sneakily crept away from the large crowd and made my way to the side of the house. I looked around and still saw no one. Maybe it was all in my head?
"You look beautiful." A comforting voice said behind me. I turned around to see the same tired gray eyes that had saved me not even a week ago.
"Draco..." My voice shook as I hugging him tightly. We stayed like that for a while, ignoring the world around us. "You came."
"I wouldn't miss seeing you on your wedding day." He kissed the top of my head. "Weasley is a lucky man."
"Yeah, and I'm a lucky girl to be with him." I blushed thinking that he was now my husband. "This is so much to take in. We're married now."
He didn't say anything, but he held me closer and began swaying to the beat of the slow song that began to play. I could hear his heart beating through his shirt, and I could tell he was nervous to be so close to me.
"How have you been?" I asked quietly.
"Alright." He sighed. "But I bet I still look like hell?"
"Not one bit." He smiled down at me. "You look as handsome as ever."
The music changed once again, but we stayed in each others arms. I knew this meant more for him than it did for me. I loved Charlie and nothing was ever going to change that. I knew Draco loved me in a different way than I loved him, but that wasn't going to stop me from being close to him.
"I love you, Isabella." He whispered in my ear.
I hugged him closer to my body. I couldn't tell him that I loved him, because it wasn't the same as his feelings for me.
"You better get back to your party, Mrs. Weasley." He beamed down at me.
"Why don't you stay?" I asked knowing why not.
"Most of the people wouldn't want me there." He looked back to the crowd of people. "I'm not the arrogant dumb-ass I was back at Hogwarts, but that won't change their opinion of me or my family. This is your day and I'm not going to ruin it."
"Stay in touch." I looked up at him. I tipped toed and kissed him cheek lightly. "Goodbye Draco."
"Bye Isabella." He smiled, drew out his wand, and apparated.
I walked back to the crowd and into Charlie's arms. Some guests had left already, but the party was still going strong. I danced a few songs with Charlie until Jaden stole me away for a few dances.
"Where did you disappear off to earlier?" He asked with a wink.
"A special guest needed my attention." I smiled thinking about those sad gray eyes.
"You're just a heart-breaker aren't you?" He laughed out.
"Runs in the family." I said with a wink. Jaden lifted me up and spun me around. At that moment I knew everything would be alright.
At around 2:45 in the morning was when we decided to stop the party. My feet were killing me and I was ready for bed. My family and the majority of the guests left way before that time, but us couples stayed up and talked. Hermione was carrying her shoes in her hands, and Ginny's dress was unzipped a little so she could be more comfortable. Fleur was sitting on top of Bill's lap snuggling her head into his neck.
"I think it's time for us to be going." Said Harry holding back a yawn.
"Same goes for us." Said Hermione nudging Ron who was beginning to fall asleep.
"Congratulations you two. I know you will be very happy." She said with a soft hug and kiss on the cheek.
They all hugged and kiss Charlie and I before leaving the Burrow. Charlie and I walked into the house to say our goodbyes to Molly and Arthur.
"I love you both very much." Said Molly squeezing Charlie and me. "Write me when you get back from wherever you are honeymooning."
"That's right, you still haven't told us where you two will be going." Arthur added as he hugged us.
"We're still not sure if we'll be going anywhere." Charlie beamed down at me. "We might just stay in Romania and have romantic montages."
I wrapped my arms around his waist as he drew out his wand. We both waved goodbye, and apparated back to our little cozy cottage home. I slid off my dress and laid it on the bed. I pulled the box it came in from out of the closet, and grabbed my wand. Slowly waving my wand my dress folded perfectly into the box.
"Using magic again?" Charlie said in a teasing voice. "What's next? Using magic to clean the house?"
"Oh hush you!" I said planting a kiss on his cheek. I closed the box and stuck it in the closet. I looked over to Charlie who was watching me with hungry eyes. I was only wearing a strapless white bra, a small white thong, and my thigh high white stockings. I knew what was on his mind, and I decided to tease him a bit.
"It's kind of hot in here, isn't it?" I said slipping off one of my stockings.
"Uhh... Yeah! I'm starting to feel a little warm." He said removing his coat.
I laid myself on the bed and gestured for him to come over. He walked over and laid down next to me. I cupped his face with my hand and pulled him in for a passionate kiss. I slid my hand down from his face to over the buttons on his shirt. Slowly I began unbuttoning them one by one. I could hear him moaning a bit as I bit his lower lip.
"You're such a tease." He whispered out.
"I know." I said pulling him on top of me.

Sara's (not really) Fabulous System Armageddon, Book I: The World Ended at Rush Hour
Planet Earth, Monday, October 7th, 2019. 18:30 * * On a fateful day, during rush hour in eastern North America, Heavens and Hell crumbled and fell from their higher dimension on Earth. It came from "above" but not the same above we regard in our tridimensional Euclidean reasoning. No, it came from "above" as in from a higher dimension. Bits and pieces of those places fell on Earth from all directions, this time in tridimensional Euclidean space. Satellites, the ISS, and space debris all were wiped clean from orbit. Even those that didn't crash with the falling debris were knocked off orbit by the shockwaves. On the ground, power distribution lines were disrupted and most power facilities were left abandoned by their dead staff. Most of these had emergency shutdown routines that engaged in a few days. Some others had a survivor among their staff that followed protocol and activated their SCRAM switches, stopping the power plant. Long-distance communication disappeared the internet along with it. The world was plunged into technological darkness. Nine hundred and ninety-nine out of every thousand human beings perished immediately in the pulse of magical energy from the torn spatial boundary. Spirits were rent asunder and vanished, their fate neither salvation nor damnation, only oblivion. The criteria used for this culling was latent magic potential. It didn't discriminate against education, gender, age, or ethnic group. But of the around seven million survivors, most would meet their doom moments later. Those on moving vehicles, like the ones driving on highways suddenly had to contend with high-speed uncontrolled cars and trucks driven by corpses. Trapped in their vehicles and helpless, they became part of the long snake of crushed metal. Very few survived. Those in the air or out in the sea were alone and probably unable to control their rides. Airplanes crashed, and ships kept their course or drifted away, depending on their autopilot. Several ended their own lives in utter despair after seeing their loved ones die in front of them. Another large group would die at the hands of other survivors. Violence and aggression became the norm. Only a few sparse pockets of not-so-sane survivors managed to band together and cooperate for the sake of mutual survival. The sole survivor in a five-over-one apartment building in Georgia, a girl became the keystone to humanity's survival. Sara's fabulous System Apocalypse had just started. She has only one remark. It was anything but fabulous. * * Updates every Wednesday and Sunday.
