"Will you cut the crap?" the man shouts as he bangs on Raine's door in irritation while she just happily focuses on her task.

For the last two days, there has been an uproar in the faculty as Raine has been playing the recorded voice of the word Enzo spoke about her being his successor rubbing it in everyone's face, as it seems being his successor was a great thing way better than getting money.

The men in the building tried to ignore it the first few hours but after that they had been banging on her door and when she got out, they wanted to kill her but the fear of Enzo stopped them.

"This is so wrong how can dad make you his successor when I am his one and only son?" Eric cries as he too was sitting outside of the door from the moment he heard the news.

Moreover, to say seeing his tears rolling down was heaven for Raine would be the understatement of the century.

"There is just something so beautiful about manly tears," she giggles, as their cries were beautiful sound to her ears.

After finally having enough of their cries, she stops the record and walks out towards the canteen to find every male glaring her way while she just grins.

Chewing down on the burger, she keeps throwing grins the men's way as she finishes gulping the food down she walks close to the group of men who were murmuring to each other so she glides their way and looks at them closely.

"Hey, what's with the sad face?" Adriana asks as she walks close to the men.

"His mate just lost their baby," Max informs her sadly, as he pats his friend's shoulder in support.

"Well, I'm sure we can find him or her if we try" she smiles as she eyes the coffee reminding her she should take it as well.

"Not that lost Rain, there was some problem with her and they had to abort the baby"

"Oh, I'm so sorry" she states not knowing what else to say to the person.

"Its okay wasn't your fault to be sorry. It is just we have been trying for the baby for so long and we were so happy"

"Hey, okay relax buddy, you can always have a next one right?"

"Don't know we did some test and the doctor said the chances are low"

"Oh"

"Anyway, I need to go check on her see you later" the man walks out of the canteen with his head down.

"Damn, that must have crushed him hard"

"Yes, he was just so happy like last week and now this. Man, this is like the fifth time; I heard someone had to abort the baby...

I don't know what is happening" Max sighs as he gets up from his seat as well.

"Wait, a fifth time?" she asks confused

"Yes, just a few days ago some of the other men in here too had to abort their babies; it's kind of sad" Max sighs leaving her alone.

Adriana shrugs her shoulder before she goes to take a cup of coffee so she can get back to work, she still has to find more on Thomas as her days are numbered and Blake will come hunting her down as soon as her given week time is over.

"Raine" Eric's voice stops her at once and she groans.

"Did you know this is like the fifth time that some one lost their baby?" she asks him as soon as he stands in front of her so she does not have to hear him whine about his father.

"Huh....sad, but I don't think I will be able to make them all pregnant, my father will kill me if I did" he shakes his head and Raine spits in her coffee and throw it in a near by bin.

"I am glad at least you fear your father and not let your sperm run around freely; else I would have to worry for nothing about the end of the human race" she sighs patting his shoulder as they walk together.

"You just insulted me right?" he asks her with narrowed eyes and she just nods her head with a tight smile.

"Well if you were not the only girl my mom approved of I would have pushed you hard on the ground but good thing you are" he smiles back.

"Jeez thanks, anyway what are you doing running around don't you have your training?" she asks as she is sure most of the trainees were on the ground with Ethan.

"Nah, no one wants me in the ground when they fight, I groped few of the trainees so Ethan does not wants me around"

"What?" Raine gasps shocked.

"I did not want to get dirty and sweaty so groping their junks did the trick no one wants to come near me, and no I am not gay" he grins proudly.

"You truly are Erika's creation" she comments as they reach her den.

"Thanks, hey you want to go out sometimes with me?" he asks just as she puts in her code.

"I would rather have the money" she replies like all the other times she has when he asks her out.

"I am asking you out because I don't have money, I am sure working in here you must be rich"

"Do you want to hear a poem I learned that perfectly fits you?" she asks him innocently and he grins happily at the prospect.

"I knew my charm was working on you"

"Roses are red, violets are blue, I have five fingers the third ones for you," she recites before locking the door while he sticks his tongue out as an answer for her.

UT makes her way towards the faculty's main building when she finds her two mates blocking her way.

"Boys" she greets them with a smile as she tries to pass them but fails.

"Mate" the boys greets before they take the briefcase and the bag away from her.

"Sirus, I need to get back to work, so please give my stuff back" UT request but the boy just shakes his head.

"Let us accompany you on your task" he grins putting his arms around her waist.

"Sirus" she warns but he just drags her along with him.

"I don't like men all around you when you come for you rounds, so until you are done we will be right by your side" he grins as he hurriedly pecks her cheek and UT just let him be as she knows her mates were more than eager to mark her.

However, they will not be able to not until they turn legal.

As UT finishes taking the blood samples of the people in the building, she puts her files back in the bag before getting up.

"Are you done?" Siran asks as he takes the bag and when she nods, he looks around before he speaks.

"I think you forgot someone"

"Who?"

"Raine, I did not see her taking the test"

"Raine? Oh I never take her test"

"Why, even your father does it so why not her?"

"Well, no one has ever taken that of her, not within my authority" she shrugs her shoulders before she walks out of the building leaving Siran with a frown on his face.

"You busy?" Siran asks as he presses the intercom to talk with Raine who opens the door for him.

"What's up?" she asks turning to find him looking so serious.

"I was up here helping UT we were there taking our monthly test of blood I just found out you never got one why?" he asks her pulling a chair out to sit.

"Test, why do I need to test my blood, is it not only for the warrior's to see if they are fit and what not?" she answers back busily typing on the keyboard.

"Still, doing the test won't harm it helps to know your weakness as well, seeing if there is any diseases or you know you got anything from someone" Sirus comments as he shrugs his shoulder.

"What disease will I get sitting in front of my computers anyway, don't worry I don't need any tests"

"Still it won't be so bad if you do, just to be on the safe side. You know one of the warrior's missed his test last month and that lead to his death as he did not know his blood was infected after his last mission so"

"You worry too much Siran, it is important for warriors to do it not me, I am sure if it was important Dante would have said so, you worry for nothing" she grins happily touched by his kindness.

"Well, if you say so but if you change your mind go and get a test from UT I will give her a heads up that you may change your mind and come to give it" he states as he squeezes her shoulder a bit before he goes to walk out.

Adriana just shakes her head as she gets back to her work only to come to a halt as a thought comes to mind.

"Siran wait" she shouts turning her chair to face the boy.

"What?"

"Did you just say UT came to take the blood tests of the warriors?" she asks once again to be on safe side.

"Yes, it's her most of the times to take the blood tests it happens once a month of sometimes twice a month, why?"

"What happens after the tests?" she asks again curiously, as her brain screams at her for the nagging feeling.

"Well, after that if we have some problems seen we get an antidote for it to cure whatever is seen"

"Oh" she slumps on her seat.

"What is there something wrong?" he asks narrowing his eyes as she lost all of her colors.

"No, it's just that I hate needles, anyway you go ahead" she smiles waving him good-bye turning her chair to face her computer.

As soon as Siran walks out Adriana closes all of the pages opened before she starts to type crazily on the board.

"Oh" she groans as she many reports pops up at once.

After reading every article and reports she can get hands on Raine finally takes a break before she picks up her phone and she dials a few numbers and waits for it to be connected.

"This better be good for you to call us at two in the morning," Rom grumbles as he picks up the phone before it is followed by few choice of curse words and grumbles of hellos her way.

"What is it, tell us fast" Ryan yawns as he asks the question.

"It's just a haunch..."

"You called us at this hour just because you have a bloody haunch?" Dante yells from his side of the line.

"Some of our men just lost their child, they were asked to abort the babies while in their mate's womb," she informs before he starts to throw insults her way

"God help you Rain if this call is about them wanting some...."

"There have been two thousand abortions in the last five years," Adriana shouts at once stopping Dante's rambling.

"What?"

"I do not know what has caused any wolf to do the abortion but for the last five years the abortion rate has been high, extremely and it seems half of those women cannot be pregnant again...

I also do not know why the council never heard of all these cases before but if this keeps going soon the werewolves will be extinct"

"What made you check on it anyway?" Enzo asks the girl as all sleep leaves his body.

"I was down in the cafeteria and Van was upset then I knew he just lost his baby. Then Max informed me it was like fifth time he heard some of the men losing their child...

Why didn't any one of you ever see through all of this anyway?" she asks

"Loosing a baby isn't a first time in here, some women looses their babies in the first trimester. It was not such a big deal but we never knew the rate of these were so high...

It never came to our focus until now"

"Well, it is a big deal regarding you if the women cannot get pregnant again the population of wolfs will be affected and slowly there won't be any kids left just you old folks" she shrugs her shoulders feeling a little better now that she pointed out the case.

"I will ask UT to check on these cases email the report to me Rain," Enzo demands at once.

"Umm...about that" she hesitates for a bit and that is enough to alert the men.

"What is it?" Rom slowly asks, as he does not like where it was going on.

"As I said it's just a haunch"

"Spit it out already Ugly" Dante warns her and she gives in.

"I think that the...sorry Rom, but I think this has something to do with the test UT does for the warriors"

"Raine" Rom warns the girl and she bites her lip, not wanting to speak but when Rom growls she once again gives in.

"Remember how Eric I mean the fake one spent time doing tests with UT..."

"You said five years Raine," Rom whispers.

"Only the warrior's families are affected with abortion, and I think some one had done something to the antidote UT had created, I am not blaming her but I think someone is messing up with her work...

Someone is inside the faculty harming the warrior's blood"

"Have you talked about your haunches to anyone?" Rom slowly asks and Raine shakes her head no before she remembers no one can see her.

"No, I called all of you at once as soon as I knew and I don't know how only the warrior's blood is affected but it's just that I have a feeling it's the antidote they take after every test that is doing some mumbo jumbo" she replies wincing a bit as she really feels bad for Rom.

"Thanks for the info Raine, can you go through the files and see if you can find any reason and when was it all started find anything to prove my daughter does not get the blame" Rom requests softly while the other men keep quiet.

"Sure, I am on it"

"Okay" Rom sighs before his line goes dead.

"Am I in trouble?" Raine slowly asks to the remaining four men who sigh as well.

"No Raine as always you did a good job; do you want me to come down?" Ryan asks but she refuses, as there was not much he can do to, make it right.
