Devilin stares out of the window of his room, he has been staying for the last few months; he waits for one of the witches to come to call for him after their preparation for the day is over.

He keeps his thoughts blank, as he does not want to think of anything before the ritual starts, he has also shut all of his bonds for the time being and he can feel his family trying to connect with him but he still does not open the connection.

He is sure by now his father was in hell's mood searching for him but he cannot go back home, not until he solves the mystery.

He will admit he was addicted going back to the past and seeing it, by far all he got was glimpses of the little girl and he has been trying to avoid the girl named miracle not wanting to do anything with her but every tunnel he passes takes him back to her.

Therefore, he has decided that today he will get hold of the girl; it seems without confronting with her he cannot get out of that maze.

Jasmine's mother did say something about a miracle may be he has to get her approval or something to pass that maze and enter the new light so he can be done with this whole deal.

Sighing, Devilin rubs the back of his head as his mind drafts towards his stalker, he wants to keep his head clear before the ritual but it seems he has been missing her more lately, but for some reason he cannot go seek her now.

His mate sure has the worst timing or may be it was he, who had the wrong timing, as he cannot leave everything like this; he wants to take it one at a time.

After wasting so many months on this, he cannot let this one out of his grip; he will have to give a very long apology to his mate when he finds her, well if he does, hopefully.

"We are ready when you are" Nicole's voice makes him turn around to find the witch waiting in the door.

He nods towards her as he pulls the robe that was on the bed to cover his upper body; he walks towards the witch waiting for her to walk ahead.

"Reese told me are planning to confront the girl you keep seeing" Nicole speaks as they silently walks.

"Yes, I just think I will waste my time if I keep avoiding her more, hopefully she will let me pass"

"You are not feeling weak right?" she asks him a bit worried and Devilin nods his head.

"I am fine"

"Well..."

"Oh you are here, lie down" Reese interrupts what Nicole was about to say so Devilin walks straight to the bed and lies down.

Devilin did not think he would be seeking the witches help, as he was not even planning to do this but he wanted to when he found he was just going round and round searching for Thomas.

He wanted to go back to the past and unchain a few things, which would help him find the exact location of Thomas. That was when he went to ask help of Reese.

She was the head of the witch coven, which meant she must know something on how to travel across time as Jasmine's mother was in witchcraft as well.

Moreover, for her to do the spell was an inkling that she was trying to help them in someway to defeat Thomas and now he was here hoping they could be done with Thomas for good.

"Are you ready to hear me now?" Miracle asks as Devilin stands in front of her.

"Yes, can you just let me pass this light so I can be over with what I came for?" he asks the little girl who bites on her lip in thought.

"But to get all of your answers you need to see what I have to show you, ugly does not want to see it but with your help I can show it to everyone"

"I am sorry but I don't have enough time to see what you want me to see"

"Well then good luck trying to figure out everything on your own, because you will forever be stuck in here...

Now I will have to find another way to lure ugly, she is so stubborn" the little girl sighs dramatically.

"Who is ugly?" Devilin asks with a smile towards the girl.

"A mystery we will uncover, so help me Devil, if you help me then I will help you too" the girl excitedly speaks leaving him stunned as to how she knew his name.

"How did you know my name? Who exactly are you Miracle?" he asks her in awe.

"You know me from here," she whispers as she jumps a bit and pokes on his chest where his heart lies.

"I am sure I would have remembered you, if I met you" he frowns, as he really has no clue about the girl.

"I am just a memory long forgotten Devil, I need to be remembered, she needs to be remembered for this to come to an end, so come on walk with me" she orders as she walks ahead without waiting for him.

"What is this place?" Devilin asks as they are in a spot near a waterfall.

"This is where everything started, this is where you will start to get your answers as well and this is where I will leave you alone," Miracle whispers just as she fades away.

Devilin frowns, as he does not know why the girl dragged him all the way here to leave him, he looks around for a while before turning to walk away when something brightens through his chest.

Looking down where the brightness comes, he pulls out the chain he has around his neck, the red crystal he had taken out of Jasmine's teddy, the one thing Thomas wants.

He pulls it off his neck and let go for it to stick in the air and brighten so brightly that he has to close his eyes.

The crystal explodes into a million pieces and slowly the light dims before nothing remains. That is when he sees it, the dragon flying above the waterfall before it comes down and lies on the ground.

"He is beautiful," a woman's voice, alerts him that someone was there.

"Aria, it is not a good idea to walk near him" a different voice joins and Devilin walks closer to where the dragon resides to find a couple.

"But Oliver, you are here to command him not to harm me right?" Aria smiles innocently his way before making her way towards the dragon.

"Aria" Oliver speaks but it was too late she touches the dragon but hisses as her hands are burned.

"I told you to not touch it" the man sighs before he checks her hands only to find it already in the process of healing.

"Then tell me, how will I ever be able to touch it without getting hurt?" she asks with a pout and the man stares at her lips lustfully.

"Only my mate can touch him"

"Then mate me handsome"

"No, you may be attractive Aria but you are not my mate" the man refuses but Aria just pouts more.

"We both love each other Oliver what is so wrong if we mate, have you not tired for searching for your real mate because I am tired waiting for mine"

"I cannot do that, even if we mate the chances of you getting hold of my dragon is none Aria"

"I don't care about the dragon Oliver can you not see you are who I want and I am so heartbroken everyday when you refuse to be with me"

"Oh Aria, please, you know I cannot do so"

"But Oliver, I love you. You know that I will not break your heart so why are you breaking mine?"

"If I mate you will it make you happy?" the man asks and just like that, the girl's face brightens.

The scenario is changed and Devilin finds himself standing in some cottage style house, he finds the couple cuddled up in a blanket near the fire.

"You make me the happiest man alive my Aria, I cannot believe we will be welcoming our little one soon" Oliver smiles as he loving touches Aria's swollen womb.

"I too cannot wait to welcome our child Oliver, but I am so scared"

"What is scaring you, my love?"

"What if something happens to both of us and we are not here to protect our child?"

"What do you mean Aria?" the man asks not understanding what she was talking about.

"I mean, if come tomorrow something happens to both of us and our child is all alone in this cruel world, who will be there to protect him?"

"Oh Aria, do not worry about it, I know the dragon will always be there for him even if we are not there to protect our child...

Who do you think has been protecting me in times of danger as you know I have no parents?" Oliver laughs making Aria smiles as well.

"I am so happy to hear that when you are gone our child will have the power of dragon beside him," she states before she snuggling close to the man.

"Did it go well?" Thomas asks Aria as she walks out of the house.

"What do you think? His dead body is still lying cold on the floor, I cannot believe it would be so easy to kill him and now that his dragon will be in the hands of the baby growing inside me I cannot wait for the child to get out of my womb" Aria snickers as she jumps in Thomas's arms.

"Careful Aria we don't want to hurt the future of ours" he chides her before holding her close to him.

"Just love me Thomas, I am so tired of pretending to be the love of his life and before him of course Adrian" the woman sighs before she yelps as Thomas easily carries her.

"I still cannot believe you were his mate" Thomas grins before walking towards the woods.

"You stupid" Aria screams as she slaps the boy in front of her and shouts at him as he starts to cry.

"Aria" Thomas shouts at her as he pulls the kid away from her.

"What do you think you are doing?" Thomas asks the woman as he hides the boy behind him.

"I am sick and tired to waiting Thomas; I want this boy to summon his dragon so we can get rid of him, I cannot stand the sight of him, it's too much to bear being around him"

"Then go cool off, he is barely ten to summon a dragon we will need to train him properly, I did say I will handle him did I not?"

"I just cannot stand the sight of him, was it not enough that I had to bear being his mother and he has to look just like his father" she shouts as she glares at the boy before she stomps out of the room.

Thomas sighs rubbing his face before looking down at the crying boy.

"Oliver did I not tell you to not go near your mother you know she hates you, now go wash yourself before we go back to your training" Thomas orders the boy who flinches a bit before dashing out of the room.

"Thomas I think we went through all of this for nothing, he cannot summon a fucking dragon what does that makes it?" Aria speaks as she wraps her arms around Thomas.

"Aria patience, he will summon it when he is able to"

"He is already eighteen years old, how long will it take?" she whines and Thomas pushes her away from him.

"For fuck's sake Aria, give that boy some time off, because of your fear he cannot even speak a word if you had shown him a little love and care as his mother...

Then may be just may be he would be a bit brave and not shit himself whenever the word dragon is out of our mouth" Thomas snaps at her in anger frustrated himself at the situation.

"Well then let me correct my mistake, lets have a child of our own I promise I will be a good mother" she speaks only for Thomas to laugh.

"Child with you, don't dream on it Aria, you are just the end to some of my needs and nothing more," Thomas shouts at her before leaving the room while Aria fumes within.

"You go, and never come back, take this money and stay far away from me or that man you got it else I will kill you with my bare hands?" Aria hisses as she pushes Oliver out of the door.

The boy stares at his mother not knowing why all of a sudden she was throwing him out of the house, the boy stands where she pushed him but when she raises her hand to hit him he takes few steps back before he runs towards the way she showed.

"Now I will see how you will be able to get your hands on the powers Thomas, how dare you call me an end to your needs...?

I did not leave my mate so I could be treated like some whore" she hisses as she watches Oliver run for his life hoping Thomas never gets his hands on the boy.

Devilin gasps as he wakes up at once and breathes hard as he is thrown out of his slumber.

Raising his hands, he stops Nicole from coming near him as he still is in a bit of shock at what he just saw.

"What is it Devilin?" Reese asks as she stares at the boy.

Devilin just shakes his head no, before he clutches the chain around his neck, to, find the crystal intact.

"Nothing, I think it's enough for today," he whispers hoarsely as his throat dries before getting down from the bed on shaky legs.

Nicole runs to his side to help him but yelps as her hands burn.

"You are heating up" she whispers blowing on her hands.

"I would like to be alone for a while" he grumbles making his way out of the room.

"Why does he never share what he sees with us Reese?" Nicole asks the woman as she stares at the back of Devilin.

"Because he still doesn't trust us fully," Reese answers before she blows the candle away.
