"Hello, Jake Webber," said the tall shadow blocking the door.
Jake gripped his knife so tight his knuckles turned white. "Who are you? How do you know me?"
"I am The Midnight Man, and I know everything." He put calmly
"The Midnight Man?" Jake chuckled "I'm stronger than you. You are just a demon! I'm a human! I'm better than you in so many ways. Get out of my way. I have people to kill."
"Who are you going to kill?"
"Well, I'm going to smash up Colby's bones using my fists. I want revenge! And if that fire hasn't killed Sam yet, I will."
"What about Katrina?"
"How do you know her name?"
"I am The Midnight Man, and I know everything."
"Ah yes, I forgot."
"I know, because I am The Mid-"
"Yes! I get it! Because you are The Midnight Man! You know everything! Now move!" Jake tried to push past him.
"Why are you so keen to get out of here?" He asked, towering over Jake.
"I thought you knew everything."
"I do." He pulled out a knife, "I also know how easily I can kill you."
Jake gulped. "The fire, I don't want it to kill me."
"I can fix that," said the midnight man. He snapped his fingers. Suddenly, the fire was gone.
"Thank you," Jake stepped back.
"Ah, I see you are finally scared of me!" The Midnight Man grinned.
"H-how did you know that?"
"Because I am the-"
"I GET IT! YOU KNOW EVERYTHING! NOW SHUT UP AND GET OUT OF MY WAY!" Jake pushed past The Midnight man and started walking down the hallway.
"I did like you, Jake. You had potential." The Midnight Man grabbed Jake around his neck and slammed him into the wall. Jake winced in pain. He couldn't get free from The Midnight Man's grip. Jake tried to talk. Nothing came out. The Midnight squeezed his neck harder and harder until Jake dropped his knife and was almost unconscious. He threw Jake to the ground.

"Any last words?" He asked
Jake just looked up at him.
"Pathetic." The Midnight Man said as he stomped on Jake's stomach with the force only a demon could muster. His ribs crunched, and bones pierced multiple vital organs. Blood dripped from Jake's mouth as he lay there, dead.
"Only one left, I'm coming for you Sam Golbach! I'm coming..."
