Chapter 15
Lolrena and Dragonia
Dragon slayer's part (lvl 73 DS u)
After waking up, I asked them if we could travel with them to Lolrena, and they said yes. "Well, thanks, my name is Aliah." "Well, hello Aliah I am Nora. So what brings you to Valahan's cave?" "We were traveling to Ice Dragon's place to slay dragons and get these dragon knights, a requirement for dragon slayer. We were just going to rest a bit, but then got ambushed by that monster while most of us were sleeping." "Ice dragon is from the other side of the tundra, why are you following us to Lolrena then?" "Well, clearly we gotta stock up on things. We can't go there like this, all beaten up and worn out." "Makes sense,” she finished the conversation with this and walked away to her spirit weapon.
Morilus's part (lvl123 faceless one, Dagger master u/h)
Looks like I was near level 123 before I fought the Valahan, because as soon as the Valahan died, I leveled up. Ace and Nora did too, but not Quasar. As the level gets higher, you need more exp to level up. So I didn't expect to level up. Well, it's not like I don't want to level up. I will take an extra level of Faceless. It was level 36, it became level 37 when I put a level in with a thought. 3 options of the skills came. Dark stealth, Running slash, Poisonous dagger cut. All three aren't that good, I chose Poisonous dagger cut because poisons are a good way to damage strong people. Not that there are many stronger than me, probably.
After walking some time, Nora heads over to me. "Morilus, are we close yet?" "How am I supposed to know? They didn't exist at my time." "Oh ye right, I'll ask Ac.." "Yes we are close, about 2 hours walk away" Ace answered before Nora could end her sentence. "Capital of Lolrena is Liria, which is close to the border of FGU and I can tell this is the border of FGU because of the flags, it's right there," he added. Okay so we are close, I guess. "Morilus?" Nora said. "Ye?" I replied. "Mmm… nevermind." Nora said. Guess she was going to say something but decided not to. Well, I don't really care. Better to keep the mouth shut and be an obedient master than to anger me and risk not getting her ass saved by me.
2 hours later, we arrived at the entrance of Liria. The dragon slayer vouched for us so we didn't have to go through the annoying process of mmm… going into Lolrena? I see people going through a long process of getting checked for a lot of stuff. It happens that the dragon slayer and her 5 apprentices are part of the House Dragonia. She told me it's a major house that is ranked 4th in Lolrena and Raven asks for their help in a lot of things. "I will introduce you to our leader,'' she said with some excitement. "His name is Karillia.
Raven's part (lvl 169 sigil knight commander u)
I heard that Aliah and her dragon knights returned early due to Valahan. I also heard that 3 strong assassins and 1 hybrid mage helped her kill the Valahan and came to Liria. This is some interesting news. I am currently at the grounds of House Dragonia to tell their leader about returning Dragonia members.
"Karillia, your personal apprentice and your house members have returned early due to the Valahan attack." As soon as I said this, his eyes turned to well… mmm… sort of like a surprised puppy? "Whaaaaat? Valahan? ARE THEY OKAY? IS ALIAH OKAY?" I expected him to react like this. I want to tell him his beloved Aliah is dead just to see the horror in his face, but I am not that unprofessional and I tell the truth that nobody died. It's no secret that he has a crush on his apprentice, Aliah. However he thinks he is too old for her. How cute, he is only 35.

Wait, I am not the right person to say this, me being only in my early 20s and all. I am much younger than both of them. Aliah is 29 by the way. I heard she started learning spear skills from Karillia when she was 19. Which was 10 years ago, the same year that mine and Rasen's parents got wiped by the necromancer. It was so long ago, the day that changed my life. I was a level 5 base warrior back then. Now, I am so much stronger, and that necromancer, that same necromancer from 10 years ago. Died by my hands. Two years ago.
Karillia's part (lvl 88 dragon slayer u)
Raven told me that Aliah and a group of dragon knights in our house fought against the Valahan, she also told me that some strangers helped them. They killed the Valahan, VALAHAN, the Elite ranked monster. I will definitely reward the strangers for helping my house. It was just 5 months ago that Aliah managed to kill the Ice dragon with me. She was level 68 back then. She unused all the levels after maxing dragon knight super class, pit fighter base class and warrior base class. She didn't even use it to improve stats. Saving up levels for later causes is a really irritating thing to do. It's like not rubbing an itchy spot but 10 times more irritating. Guess Aliah was patient enough to hold on to that. Looking back, she grew up so fast. Not that she wasn't fully grown when she became my apprentice, physically. I am talking about mentally and progressionably, if this word even exists. I have no doubt I taught Aliah enough so that she could survive anywhere on this continent. Though it's not like I am going to let her get into a dangerous situation alone. Not that it's my choice to decide where she goes and what trouble she gets in. Anyways, I can't wait to see her. Not that she had been out in the tundra for long. It's only been 3 days since she left. Well, tundra is a dangerous place. I was worried a lot. Well then, why haven't I gone to the tundra with her? Duh! I'm busy as hell. Being a house leader is busier than I thought. No wonder Raven is exhausted all the time. I gotta manage my house, economically, physically and socially. It has been a year since I made this house, but I still am not used to the job. Before this, I just had to watch out for Aliah. Now I have to watch out for hundreds of people. This is partly because Raven advertised my house and recommended many dragon knights and wannabe dragon knights to join. Thanks Raven, for making my life harder than it already is. Her parents were my teachers, but I didn't foresee their daughter becoming stronger than them in a matter of a decade. Of course I saw Raven training, fighting, hunting, looting and progressing day and night after her parents death. At the start I wouldn't think it would go on for long. However a day became a week, a week became a month, a month became 10 years. Nowadays she lives even harder than when her parents died, being the leader of a house and all that shit. She is also technically a representative figure of URS, now known as Lolrena. People call her the 'Raven the Protector of Lolrena'. It's really confusing that her house has the same name as the country. She probably didn't see it coming either, back when it was 'fight or become slave to the Tal' situation. I don't blame her for the confusion, she was probably in massive stress back then. I hope she just takes a break now, and finds somebody important to her. Like how Aliah is important to me. By the way, Aliah and I are secretly in a relationship. Please don't tell Raven, I don't want her to fuss over it.

Nora's part (lvl 60 assassins s)
Aliah keeps on rambling about Karillia, how he is kind yet tough at the same time. How he tends to mumble thoughts to himself without organizing. I didn't listen carefully after these. However I can tell Aliah loves him. How cute. "So how long have he been your boyfriend?" I asked. Aliah started blushing, almost as if her head would explode. "Nnnot hherre Nora" she replied. "What? None of my friends mind." They were literally unfazed by our conversation, having a conversation of their own with some dragon knights.
After some blushing she answered "please keep this a secret." "Okay" I answered. "It has been about 3 months." Imagine keeping something a secret for 3 months. She must be good at, mmm… I don't know, keeping secrets I guess? "What's it like?" I asked. "Mmm… What do you mean? What's it like keeping a relationship a secret? Or what's it like having a boyfriend?" "The latter, you know, I never dated anyone before." "That's probably because, mmm… how old are you again?" "I am 16." "Ye that, I am literally 13 years older than you, you will probably have dated somebody when you become my age." "You sidestepped my question, though," I insisted. "Alright, it feels like having some organs in somebody else." "Huh? I don't get it". She elaborated a little more. "It just means you want to keep somebody safe." "Mmmm………. That's an extremely weird way to put it, the first expression I mean." I replied with a scrunched up face.
Ace's part (lvl 53 illusionist +3 s/h)
After walking some more, we arrive at the homeground of the house Dragonia. I see a silhouette of a sturdy warrior. When we walk closer, I recognize her from the drawing of the book I read a month ago. Holy shit, it's Raven. RAVEN The one I only read and saw in the books. RAVEN true RAVEN, I shouted "Real Raven, I can't believe it, please tell me you aren't an illusion!" "I can confirm I am not an illusion and is actually real" Raven assured. "I can't believe it!” "Well, you must be Ace." "How did you know!?" I replied with too much excitement. Looking back at this event now, I am a bit ashamed for acting like a little kid.
Raven's part (lvl169 Sigil Knight u)
Oh so this person is a fan of mine. How interesting. I am still not used to all the fame and honor I have. Honestly, 2 years ago, people just thought I was some random sigil knight, now everybody knows I am Raven. There are figures shaped like me, books written about me and even board games about my battles.
I am not joking, this is so overwhelming. I am not some hero that everybody thinks of. Only reason I am leading and guarding URS is because I am angry about the expansion of the Tal empire. I honestly am not some saint. I try to be most of the time, but I am not. I literally have anger management issues, though it has gotten much better through the 10 years I bared. My anger management issue began when my parents got murdered. Which indicates that it is not innate, but rather is from the stress and trauma.
Morilus's part (lvl123 faceless one, Dagger master u/h)
No joke, level 169 sigil knight?
“Are you max sigil yet?” I asked. “Sadly no, becoming a max sigil knight is a hard process which includes an insane task. If I were already sigil knight, I would try to become a hero and end the Tal empire with ease.” Well that’s true, everybody knows the best way to end an empire is becoming a hero. Especially when it’s about the time for the prophecy to reactivate. Hero is a master class, well sort of. To become a master class hero, the max sigil knight with the hero's sword gotta take down an empire with more than certain population and territory. Plus, the empire must be a dictatorship. Due to the difficulty of the challenge, the master class hero is usually stronger than the other master classes. Back in my days nobody had ever achieved a master class. Ferzgark tried to achieve master class in 3 fields but failed in all of them. Master class quest isn’t some easy thing to do like eating your birthday cake. Even max ultra quests are really hard. I heard that to max sigil knight you need to mmm… I forgot… “I need to beat up 1000 sigil zombies for one” she said as if she could read my mind. “1000 sigil zombies aren’t a joke you know” I replied. “Ye I know that’s why I am not max sigil knight.” She then added, “I also need to get 500 orderly karma, along with the head of an abyss walker or a greatsword user with the abyss walker quest finished. I also need to jail 3 dark sigil knight ultra classes. Get tomeless, which I already have though. Then take a damage over 5K at once and survive it. After finishing all those, I gotta go to the heart of the tundra to get the last class.” Mmm… okay, that’s ultra tough. Well that’s probably why this is a max ultra class quest and not some super class quest. "Are you going to be the first ever master class if you succeed?" I asked. Raven replied "Nope, there are already 6 master classes in this world. Out of the 6, 5 of them are known as the Five keepers. Last one is part of the house Lantreas. It's a medium sized house based in Runaenia." Umm… ok, I thought. “Yes, Morilus, that Five keepers is the group who were opposed of the Legend.” Wait a sec, how did she read my mind, plus how did she know I was Morilus? Raven went on as if she could read my mind, “Isn’t it obvious that you’re Morilus, plus your thoughts are litterally shown in your face right now. That panic, I can read it.” “But those 5 people weren’t that strong back then, how did they all get master class!?” I shouted with some panic in my voice. “Shit, I am in big time trouble, they will probably try to kill me.” After I said this, Raven replied. “Maybe and maybe not, I don’t know, but be careful. They made a rule that they won’t interfere in the world, but I wouldn’t put past the five keepers to get revenge on you. After all, they suffered too much due to the Legend.” Honestly, I can’t blame them if they want to tear me into shreds. Their association has been reaped barren by the legend for more than once. Three of the five has died to the at least once. Even worse, one of them has been sexually assulted by the legend. To no one’s but the Earth people’s surprize, sexual assult is a crime worse than murder. Mainly because sexual assult tends to leave trauma throughout all the lives, while murder just takes away only one life, along with some items and silver. In normal circumstances, it is punishable by death and confiscation, but obviously anything relating with the legend is never a normal circumstance. Legend got away without anything. No wonder my old master was hated by many strong people.

Lost In Translation
If you're one to travel the roads, you may have heard of me. You may have heard my Names in the stories, the songs, and the whispers of the road. Perhaps you've even seen me during my travels, speaking to a bird of blue light, or on a city street, performing small acts for coin and repute. Or perhaps you may know me as the Skystrider, who walked with the wind. Or the Voiceless, a man of song without speech. You may know me as the Tutor, who taught the Lion of Summer how to fight, or the Traveler, who has walked all the roads of the earth. I am all of these things. And people have branded me a myth. But people don't understand what a myth is. They haven't heard the songs lost to our tongues, nor have they seen the things I've seen. They haven't gone to the places I've gone. My feet have walked the plains, the seas, and the clouds. I have spoken languages unspoken; tongues lost to time. I have sung to the earth, held the moon in my arms, and walked the roads that your heroes hesitate to even mention. I have outwitted Demons. I have danced with the Fae. My songs have been heard by lords of wind and ash, and my steps have echoed in the bellies of gargantuan beasts the likes of which you have never seen. These are what real myths are. And me? I'm no legend. I'm just the bard stupid enough to poke the real ones with a stick. Discord link here. RETURN, A Dark Lord story.
Return, Synopsis In the Triangulum Galaxy, one of a number of galaxies controlled by the Empire of The DARK LORD, JENNA OF CHRISTOS finds herself on the run after she killed a patrolman. Becoming pilot on a pirate craft, several years later she and other pirates are devastated by attacks of the Imperial Legion and are now trying to regroup. Seeking funds that will help them hide out for a time, their leader THURGOD DRISTA and JENNA meet with a PROFESSOR of galactic history who gives them information, a map and an ancient artifact described as a singing stone. He tells them that this could lead them safely to a legendary treasure trove, called THE DARK LORDS HOARD, on the forbidden planet TRILLA. The hoard is supposed to belong to the ruler of the empire who vanished close to one thousand years before and is presumed to be gone. The treasure is believed to be hidden in a tunnel accessible from the planet surface but no one who has gone into the tunnel has ever come out alive or sane. Leaving the pirate hideout immediately after the meeting and avoiding a major attack by the legion, the pirates travel to the galactic rim for supplies and to leave a false trail. With them they take the PROFESSOR and ILISA, a serving girl. However CAPTAIN TRASKA the commander of a Legions task force called Detachment T, has guessed the pirates intentions and tracked them to the rim. The pirates leave on their next leg to TRILLA unaware that CAPTAIN TRASKA with his force of heavy cruisers, is already there and lying in wait for them. Allowing the pirates to land, including an unexpected second pirate ship, CAPTAIN TRASKA sends a force of troopers to capture both craft and their guards. Before they can do this, THURGOD, the PROFESSOR and others, numbering thirteen altogether and led by JENNA entered the tunnel complex. JENNA, warned by ILISA that she must be the one to hold the singing stone, carries it in the hope that it will guide her and her companions past the many dangers in the tunnel. Shortly afterward, VIS VISTRICER the Legions overall commander travels to Trilla in an armoured planetoid, a spacecraft as large as a moon. On his arrival at TRILLA, VIS VISTRICER meets with CAPTAIN TRASKA but before they can do much, they are both surprised by one of the LADIES OF THE CIRCLE who is waiting for the outcome of what is happening in the tunnels. In the tunnels, JENNA leads THURGOD and the rest of party through many dangers and tests. Four are killed in the tunnels but the rest finally come to their goal where, to their surprise, in a cavern they meet the DARK LORD who is alive and very well. He has been waiting for them so he can return to the Empire. JENNA finds out that the patrol officer is alive and that she and many others have been manipulated all this time by the DARK LORD. She also finds out that ILISA, whose real name is JURA, is a member of the CIRCLE OF LADIES and was sent to teach JENNA many years before on her home planet of Christos. The DARK LORD restores and fulfills a promise to release JURA from her service as a LADY. He next has each pirate declare their own fate and takes them to the surfaces of TRILLA. There, at their election, he executes two of the pirates while JENNA is pardoned and some have the death penalty reprieved. The rest will face the courts of the Legion. VIS VISTRICER is raised to the rank of STAR COMMANDER, the highest rank in the Legion while TRASKA becomes a COMMODORE. The DARK LORD returns to Tihab, the administrative centre of the empire. There he takes up his residence in a surprised and disconcerted imperial palace. JENNA is returned by COMMODORE TRASKA to the planet Christos where she is welcomed by the planets rulers and her family, some of whom were aware of some of what was happening.
