"I have a feeling that you're being forced to do all this" his grip on my hand wasn't harsh and it didn't make me feel uncomfortable, it just felt warm.

and what if I am?

I quickly looked up at him. And shook my head and said "no, there's nothing like that"

I looked away still feeling his sharp stare on me.

"We should go back" I tried to walk but he blocked my way standing right in front of me.

"What? " I snapped at him my tone clearly annoyed.

"Your mom asked to bring deserts" I turned around and opened the fridge taking out the tub of butterscotch ice cream and kept it on counter. He stood next to me observing me carefully.

I was getting annoyed at him staring at me continuously.

Can you stop looking at me?

"No" I turned towards him bewildered by his answer. Can he read my mind?

"You're too predictable" He smirked as I continued scooping ice cream and when I was done I placed the tub in fridge.

"I'll help you carry these"

"I can do it myself" I said expressionless and carried the tray to the dining table with him following me.

I served everyone and sat down on my place.

I love ice cream, especially butterscotch.

....

After having desert while our parents kept discussing their work.

our?

My mom looked at me. "Pihu?" I looked up at her.

"Why don't you show him around?" I looked at him and found him looking at my mother but shifted his gaze to me as soon as I looked at him.

"you both can have a little talk too" His mom added.

No, thanks.

I smiled getting up, I walked a little and saw he wasn't bugging just staring at me.

"Samir, go with her" his mom said, more like demanded him and he got up following me.

Mommy's boy.

I was just walking through the corridors with him following me in complete silence. We reached the garden and I let out a small sigh as I sat down on one the nearest bench not bothering to say a word to him.

He sat next to me and started looking around. The garden was the best part of this house, it was pretty as hell.

I have to marry him, I need to make everything clear and tell him the things I'm comfortable with.

After a few minutes of battling with myself I decided to speak.

"Samir" I mustered up my courage and looked at him "you know we're getting married and I-"

"oh, are we?" his tone filled with sarcasm.

Can you not cut me off while I'm talking?

I rolled my eyes and continued "Yes, we are and I want you to know that I'm not expecting anything from this relationship or marriage, we don't even love each other, forget about love we don't even know each other. I just want you to respect me and give me my space that's all I'm asking for and I promise to do the same" I said while looking down while he was staring at me.

He hummed and continued looking around as if I didn't say anything a moment ago.

I pulled all my courage to say all this and just a cold, dry HMM?

"We should go back in" He stated and stood up fixing up his coat. I lead the way and he kept walking in silence like earlier.

We have one thing in common, we like silence.

We sat next to each other and our parents stopped talking as soon as they saw us coming.

"Pihu, Samir" we both looked at his dad "we've fixed you're marriage next week, it's a court marriage as we don't want too much attention from the media"

Saying I was shocked was an understatement.

In a week? seriously? Why not tomorrow? I'm dying to get married.

I looked at Samir who was able to manage a straight face and just nodded at his dad.

"Is that okay with you Pihu?" Mrs. Malhotra asked me and I nodded with a small fine.

"Thanks for the dinner Mr Sharma, hope to see you soon" Mr Malhotra stood up and extended a hand for handshake which my dad accepted with a smile on display. While my mom and Mrs Malhotra hugged each other while saying bye, I looked at Samir.

"I guess I'll see you again soon, honey"

Did he just call me that? Geez, maybe it's cheesy or I am not used of being around sweet people.

I looked away and our parents started walking to the door.

"You can bid your goodbyes and join us later" Mrs Malhotra spoke, she seems kind of cool.

I could feel him looking at me. "what?" I looked at him and his lips formed a slight smirk.

only if he didn't look breathtaking.

"nothing" he started walking and I followed him. Our parents were talking while standing near the car.

"don't miss me too much" I cringed at his words and rolled my eyes.

"I can't help" My tone was filled with sarcasm and he seemed quiet amused.
