"Th-this isn't what you think it is," Dorian stuttered.

"Oh yeah? Well I think this is exactly what it looks like. It looks like you sneaked into the Armeshire's Manor for whatever reason. But it definitely wasn't good since you felt the need to run away when you heard me come. So, Dorian. I'm going to ask you once. What on Earth are you doing here?" Leah replied.

"Ah that. Well I'm afraid I can't tell you that."

"Then I guess I'll just go and inform the Armeshires. I don't think they'll be very pleased to know that there was a stranger lurking about their property."

At that, Dorian scoffed and said, "Trust me. I'm anything but a stranger to them and I'm afraid I can't have you scurrying about informing them of my plans. I truly didn't want it to come down to this." With that Dorian took out a gun from his coat pocket and pointed it straight ahead, at Leah's head.

"W-what are you doing Dorian?"

"I truly am sorry, but I just can't have you interfering with my plans. They were set in motion long before you arrived and will continue long after you are dead."

He cocked the gun and removed the safety. Placing his hand on the trigger, he aimed and Leah felt her blood run cold. She had never though that she would die this way.

Young. Alone. Scared.

And at the hand's of someone else.

"You don't want to do this Dorian. Trust me. Nothing could be worth this, worth killing someone. Please leave me."

She could see him hesitate. His hand holding the gun wavered and something like uncertainty passed like a shadow over his face. They stayed like that for a long moment. The gun pointed at her head and Dorians finger on the trigger.

And just when Leah thought she couldn't take it anymore Eliza burst through the bushes, panting.

She took one look at everyone else and her featured twisted into one of shock and.......... was that excitement on her face?

"Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear. What on Earth is going on here?"

No one spoke for a minute. Leah looked at Dorian, his facade was failing.

He looked completely unsure, confused and distressed.

"Come on, who decided to have a party out in the garden and not invite me?" Eliza said.

Dorian started, "I-i do-"

He was cut off by another crash through the bushes and a very disheveled Nico appearing in the clearing.

"Worry not Eliza! I am here to save you!"

His voice faltered when he realised he had an audience.

"Oh. Hello everyone. Lovely time of day for a walk, yes? WAIT WHY DOES THAT MAN HAVE A GUN IN HIS HAND?"

Dorian dropped his gun.

Eliza looked like she wanted to die and Leah walked in the middle and said, "Well I'm sure there's a reasonable explanation for all of this."
