《Love's Desire》Comfort

(Vexian's POV)
"Todd, could you move all my arrangements to tomorrow please?" I asked, sitting on a set beside the bed which Jadion was laying, grasping his still warm and soft hand tightly as if when I let go I would never feel the silky touch of his fingers around mine. I had never held his hand before, but I was more focused on his safety than fanboying about holding his hand.
"Why?" Todd asked in a, 'Is this about what I think this is?' tone but with a slight smile on his face. "I want to make up what happened a few hours ago." I said, returning the smile but with a hint of sadness. "Heh, I'll leave you two then~ There's a glen on our side of the woods a little walk from town." He said, a cheeky smirk creeping across his face, before sneaking out of the door and leaving us. "HEY! IT'S NOT LIKE THAT DUMBASS! GET BACK HERE!"
Conveniently five minutes later Jadion woke up, I could tell because he jumped up and fell off the bed. "OH CUPIDS-" He yelled before his masked face met the shiny, wood planks of the floor. I giggled, teasingly. He muttered something that was probably a curse upon my bloodline and then pulled himself back onto the bed.
"Fuck, I need to get back to my sister." He mumbled after a few seconds of silence. He slowly sat up from the bed. "Wait." I grabbed his wrist, "Uhm.... We- Uh... I'm sorry. I went too far... A-and you got hurt because of me.. I'm sorry for not believing you before. I'm sorry for making you uncomfortable. I'm sorry for everything.... I really am. Forgive me....?" I cupped both of my hands around his and pulled them closer to me. Silence froze the room.
"Pffttt, if you wanted me to stay you could have just asked, stupid." He jokingly scoffed, pulling our hands back. "No. I mean it. I'm so, so, so sorry. I understand if you don't even want to see my face anymore, I understand if you don't talk to me ever again. But I'm sorry." I declared pulling our hands back, in doing so I accidently pulled him closer to me. I closed my eyes, embarrassed.
I felt two arms wrap around me, pulling me into an embrace. "I-I-"I tried to stutter a sentence but to no avail. "I.... I think I can forgive you." He mumbled walking back from the warm hug. I smiled, softly but sincerely. "I'm going to make it up to you. I promise." I said confidently.
I stood up, walked over to the closet and picked out a bright blue cloak with tiny golden accents for myself and a deep maroon coloured cloak with small silver trimmings for Jadion. "Here. We're going to this glen not to far from town but I may get spotted if I'm not wearing a cloak, and who knows someone else in town could know what your mask means."
I put on the blue cloak and fastened the button at the neck of the cloak. Jadion had a bit of trouble with this. "Why is this so fucking hardddd...?" He groaned annoyed at the cloak for being so difficult to fasten. I chuckled, stepping forwards so I could do his button for him. "Your such an idiot." I teased. He scowled at me and then turned his head away. I smiled.

We managed to sneak out of the castle, stopping at the kitchens for a small picnic, and town, heading for the forest. "See? I told you there was a glen here." I said sitting down on the surprising dry grass. Snuggled right in the opening of the woods, just out of sight but was able to find their way back.
We sat down together and Jadion opened the basket of food. "I thought you said you were getting a small picnic? There's like.. 7 fucking courses in here!" He questioned. I giggled into my cloak's sleeve, "Hey! I saw that! You... You asshole" He yelled, angry at my teasing. "Sorry, your just so funny sometimes." I laughed, playfully.
I blinked and suddenly he was gazing at me, "Take off your mask you dumbass, I wanna see your face." He paused and then shook his head, after doing this he turned it the other way. I shuffled over to him. He didn't notice as I was getting closer. I lifted my hand to him. "EH?!" He exclaimed noticing me. He undid the strap on his mask and lowered it. I absentmindedly caressed his cheek. "What are you doing?" He asked, in a worried tone. "Oh sorry!" I muttered before taking my hand away and starting to shuffle backward.
Suddenly he grabbed my arms and pulled me toward him. "Whaa?" I mumbled. I was sitting in front of Jadion, tilted backward and he was still holding my arms; While he was bending over me! "Jadion what are you- What?" I spluttered out a few words in my confusion. He put his forehead on my shoulder and very quietly muttered, "Go on. Do whatever you like, I fucking give up." "What? What do you mean?" I asked, although I thought I knew what he meant. He stayed silent for a moment and lifted up his head to reveal an extremely red but calm face. "You know fucking well what I mean." He said, before closing his eyes.
I raised my hand to touch his face. This time he didn't react. I pulled myself up and muttered in a very guilty tone, "I don't want to make you uncomfortable." He opened his eyes, looked down and asked, slowly as to not alarm me. "Could I- Well.. Could I... Fuck..." He looked as if he was trying to find the right words. I closed my eyes and said, "Go on." I felt nothing for a moment and then I felt something touch my neck, "Ah-" I made a small sound. It stopped. Then I felt Jadion bite my neck softly. This time I didn't make a sound, I was biting my lip so as not to disturb him. He kept biting down until he got to my collarbone. I felt his lips leave my neck. "You can open your eyes now, I've finished." I opened my eyes. "Was that okay? Shit.. I feel like I was a bit rough.." He asked, "You were fine." A small smile grew on my face as I said this.
As we started eating our picnic we spotted a tall male walking out of the heavy trees not far from where we sat. He had brown hair the exact shade as mine and very torn clothing as if he had found a way to swim through a gorse bush and it had gone just the way as anyone would have expected it to have gone, quite wrong. He had a map with him and he pointed someway and then walked forward, and a few others followed him. An 8 foot tall man that looked much cleaner than the rest. A blonde who looked downcast and I could tell she had been crying even if her friends didn't know. A black-haired girl who looked more cheerful than most of her accomplices. Three boys, one who looked like he was ready to punch someone, a second who looked worn-out but wore a small smile and a small male on his back who looked like he had an injury on his finger by the bandage.

I questioned this in my head but didn't pay much attention to it. Instead I turned my head and focused on Jadion whom had been picking out flowers nearest to him. "Hey." He said, "Here. It's ambrosia flowers." I looked down at the bouquet, they were bright yellow and cute. I took the flowers and smiled softly. "Do you know what they mean?" He muttered quickly, my eyes darted back to him. His cheeks was the same red as before. I looked at him in a puzzled expression. "Ah.. Your going to have to teach me about flowers, because I don't really know much about them."
I lied.
I was suppressing the pink tinge that would have flushed through my face. I knew exactly what they meant. Ambrosia flowers mean 'Love Returned'. He sighed, as if he was mentally preparing himself for something. He moved closer to me, right next to me. "Then- I.. I'll show you." He mumbled. "Are you- Uhm... Okay with me doing- Sighhh... Crap- what we did before..?" He asked, obviously flustered.
Mentally I was screaming, but physically the only thing I did was flinch in shock. I nodded and closed my eyes. I could feel a soft breath on my face as he moved closer. I stiffened. I felt his lips touch mine and my eyes shot open. I moved backwards and our lips parted. I covered my face with my hands. "Oh my god I'm so fucking sorry! Was that too much? I understand if you don't want to do that again!" I could hear him apologise.
I uncovered my face and saw a guilty. "Ah- Are you okay?!" I asked worried. He didn't respond. I wrapped my arms around his neck comforting him. He opened his eyes. and muttered, "And your neck has fucking bite marks on it. I'm sorry. I won't do it again, I swear.." I squeezed him slightly "I should be the one apologising... I didn't make what happened up to you. I... I don't know what to say
He had calmed down a few minutes later and fell asleep. I smiled while stroking his ebony-black hair. It wasn't soft but it was unpleasant and coarse either. He was still shaken from what happened the day before. I attempted to lift him up so we could go back to the castle, yes a few people would still be buzzing around but if I ran quickly we could get there without making a racket.
He was heavy and tough to carry but I managed it, I knocked on the castle door. It was getting really dark out now. "Hey! Todd! Open up!" I yelled. I saw a head poke out of a window. I could see Todd's face, his glasses off. He shouted something then disappeared. A few minutes later I heard a clunk as the lock was unbolted and the clinking of a key. Todd had his glasses shoved on and was clutching a big key. "Damn. My wife owes me 50 miderans now. We made a bet on if your a bottom or not." He teased while smirking. "What?" I asked, annoyed. "How do you know I'm a bottom?" He giggled before saying, "Your neck has more bite marks than the midrerans I'm gonna get from this bet." "WhAT?!" I shouted, angrily and blushing with embarrassment.
I stepped into the castle, "C'mon, lift him into a room for me. I'm going to get something to eat." I whispered. Todd nodded after muttering, "Well you already had like seven courses but okay." before walking up the stairs out of earshot. I walked to the kitchen and took out a cinnamon roll. I relaxed before walking up the stairs.
As I walked into my room I was greeted with Jadion laying on my bed and a lit candle on my bedside table. I sighed and took off his cloak and jacket. I was going to kill Todd in the morning. I took off my cloak and everything else except a pair of shorts. I finally lay in my bed. As I leaned over to put out the candle, two arms wrapped around me and pulled me back. "Jadion I need too-" But I was wrapped in a soft blanket and Jadion's arms wrapped around me with a dim candle light and so, I just left it.
(Jadion's POV)
My eyes opened. All I could see was a blur. I closed and opened them. I realised that I had my arms wrapped around Vexian's waist! My face turned a bright red but I stayed calm. I could tell he was still asleep. I plucked up my bravery and nuzzled my face into his back. It was warm and cozy. I felt him stir and I released him. "Nooo... Don't let go.." He mumbled, still asleep, his face twisting into a childish pout. I froze and then tangled my arms around him and nuzzled his back again. I smiled as his face relaxed into a neutral position again.
