Gen and Tsubasa were walking in the forest which was near to Bey City. Tsubasa's eagle soared to the sky over them. Gen looked at it. She then faces Tsubasa who was walking forward.

"You said you don't have friends, right? Then who is he to you?", said Gen.

"I thought you asked human friends, so I gave you the real reason", said Tsubasa.

"Well an eagle can be considered as a friend you know, because I have a talking dog as a friend, so....", said Gen.

"Talking dog?", asked Tsubasa.

"It's a long story of how we are related to it (sees Tsubasa confused) Nevermind that, well anyways you are gonna have new friends once we reach the city", said Gen.

"New friends?"

"The gang, you know, Gingka and his friends", said Gen.

"Will they be my friends? I treated them badly..."

"Just tell them the truth just like you told me"

"Yeah right, it took 2 to 3 hours to make you know the truth, so basically there is no way that would happen", said Tsubasa.

"Then I will tell them the truth", said Gen which shocks Tsubasa.

"You?"

"Yeah, they will soon know I have been kidnapped to the Dark Nebula and once they see you, they will mock you and that's when I come in and said you are not lying and blah blah.....I will just make up stuff at that time", said Gen.

"And why would you do that for me?", asked Tsubasa.

"They will believe me, trust me, and since we have become friends, this is the least I could do", said Gen.

"You would do that for me?"

"You never really had friends, did you? Well this is the first step of friendship, don't ask me how many steps are there because it's a lot, anyways, once they have become your friends, you won't be alone for a bit", said Gen.

"You seemed to know a lot", said Tsubasa.

"Even though me and Gingka are twins, I have a better brain than him (Tsubasa laughs), I am not kidding you know, anyways, not just Gingka, but there is Madoka, Kenta, and there is Hyoma, Hikaru, Benkei, and ooh I forgot, Kyoya, man, he is so cool and awesome, the way he battles is like unbelievable, I am sure with you, you could be training partners", said Gen.

"You seem to talk a lot about Kyoya? You have a thing for him?", asked Tsubasa which shocks Gen.

"What? No way!", said Gen as she starts to blush.

"Then what's that face you are showing now?", asked Tsubasa.

"Umm...it's just allergy...I am allergic to forest..that's all", said Gen freaking out.

"Allergic to forest? That's not even a real thing and even if you had, you would have been showing that face when we reached the forest in the first place", said Tsubasa.

"Are we there yet? Cause the gang would be waiting for me for a long time", said Gen.

"I am kidding you know, I asked because you gave a description only about him, that's why", said Tsubasa walking forward.

"Oh, it's just that Kyoya is the reason why I am here", said Gen.

"What do you mean?"

"My dad who is not here anymore, didn't allow me to get out and battle like Gingka. He did that because he didn't want me to end up like my mom, who died when I was 8 years old. She had an accident with Accalia. I used to feel angry towards him but later after he died while protecting L-Drago from Ryuga and Doji...."

"You realized that he was telling the truth in order to protect you", said Tsubasa.

"Yeah even though I had the chance to get out, I didn't feel like to, and when Kyoya came to the village, and told me something I never even thought to realize before, that's when I realize to get out of there and battle just like Gingka", said Gen with a smile.

"I am really sorry about them", said Tsubasa.

"It's fine, I thought you knew about it", said Gen.

"I didn't know, why would you think like that?", asked Tsubasa.

"You are an undercover agent of the WBBA, so they would provide information about a person, right?", said Gen.

"You are right about that, but they never specified information about you since you didn't participate in any tournaments", said Tsubasa.

"Then how did you know who I am", asked Gen.

"Doji kind of told me about it when Yu told about you the other day", said Tsubasa.

"Well that explains everything", said Gen.

After a few minutes later, they reached Bey City.

"Yippee! We are finally in Bey City (seeing Tsubasa serious)....I mean like we reached so...", said Gen in embarrassment.

"Okay, lets go", said Tsubasa walking forward.

"Where?"

"To your friends, you did remember our deal, did you?", said Tsubasa.

"Oh yeah, change of plans, today we are going to the WBBA head quarters", said Gen.

"What? Why?", said Tsubasa.

"Because you have to give that USB to them right? And plus Battle Bladers is starting tomorrow, you said they have to know Doji's plans before it starts right?", said Gen.

"Yeah but your friends, they are already worried about you..."

"They can wait, after all its the first time I am travelling alone without them which is a good thing so take me to the WBBA", said Gen with a smile.

"But..."

"You give them the USB and after that we will go to them, and plus I need to know whether my new friend lies about his life", said Gen looking weird at him.

"Okay fine, just please stop with the staring", said Tsubasa.

"Okay then let's go....", said Gen going forward.

"Its that way", said Tsubasa turning around and going away from her.

"I know that, I was trying to test your knowledge!", said Gen running towards Tsubasa.

Kenta, Hikaru & Benkei too got all 50,000 bey points. They all met at Bey Pit where Madoka was. Hyoma was sad.

"Hey, Hyoma, where is Gen? She was with you right?", said Kenta.

"Umm..Gen is ...", Gingka came in at that moment. Bot Hyoma and Madoka were shocked to see him.

"Hey, guys so all of you came back i see, wait a minute, where is Gen? Did she get lost again, man", said Gingka looking at Hyoma. Hyoma was confused.

"Hyoma, are you okay? Did something happen to my sister? Hyoma say something", said Gingka.

"Gen, she...i am sorry Gingka, she was taken by the Dark Nebula", said Hyoma.

"What?", said Gingka. Hyoma then explains about it to them.

"No, first my father and now Gen, this cannot happen", said Gingka freaking out.

"It is my fault, i shouldn't have left her alone", said Hyoma.

"It's okay, Hyoma. I hope she is okay", said Hikaru. Then the group also know about what happen to Gingka losing his points.

Back to Gen and Tsubasa, they reached the WBBA headquarters.

"Whoa! You weren't kidding about this for a second, man, this is so good", said Gen as she ran inside the headquarters.

"Hey, wait!", said Tsubasa as he went in. He saw Gen looking around so excited.

"I can't believe you are from here, it's like I am in a dreamworld", said Gen looking around.

"You never visited a big building like this in your whole life?", asked Tsubasa.

"I am from a village so, there it is full of huts....(she saw an ice cream shop)....oh boy! I want some ice cream!", said Gen went near the ice cream shop. Tsubasa was shocked to see the view.

"Tsubasa, looks like you are back, the Director is been waiting for you", said a lady who was behind him.

"Okay, hey Gen (she turned around holding ice cream) you coming?", asked Tsubasa.

"You go ahead, I will wait, hey, give me that ice cream too", said Gen looking at the ice cream flavours. Tsubasa was embarrassed but then he smiled and left. After a while, he came out of the Director's room. He saw Gen enjoying herself with the members of the WBBA. Tsubasa smiles and then he leaves the headquarters without saying anything to Gen since she was enjoying herself.

Back to the gang, unfortunately, all the qualifying tournaments have finished. Kenta suggests battling the others for their extra points but Gingka declines. Madoka finds one last tournament that was rescheduled for today where Gingka can make up the missing points. As the gang hurry to the train station, they are stopped by Tsubasa.

The group accuses Tsubasa of thwarting Gingka on behalf of Dark Nebula but he tells them he is no longer with them and continues to bait Gingka into a battle.

Kenta reminds Gingka that he must focus on getting the points he needs in order to defeat Ryuga. The others agree and insist on Gingka leaving them behind while they take care of Tsubasa. Gingka agrees grateful to his friends. Tsubasa mulls over whether he'll accept the group's challenge, remembering his prior conversation with Phoenix shortly after Phoenix rescued him from Dark Nebula and revealing that he was fully aware of Tsubasa's true mission and identity but that Tsubasa lacked the power that Gingka had. The key was to know Gingka's friends. Hikaru starts but is quickly defeated. Benkei begins to battle but again is also defeated by Tsubasa. Hyoma begins to battle but instead of fighting to win, he dodges Eagle's attacks in order to stall for extra time to allow Gingka to make it to the tournament. In the end, he is defeated. Finally, Kenta is left. He battles fiercely but loses. Undeterred, Kenta challenges Tsubasa for one more battle laying all his Bey points on the line. Tsubasa is surprised and asks why Kenta would do that. Kenta would rather sacrifice his points to give Gingka the opportunity to compete at Battle Bladers. As their Beys are about to make initial contact, Storm Pegasus shoots in and stops the fight. Gingka expresses his gratitude for his friends' willingness to help him reach Battle Bladers to defeat Ryuga but he wasn't willing to do it at their expense. He then challenges Tsubasa to a battle but Tsubasa laughs and demands to know how his friends are linked to his source of power. Gingka is completely taken aback by the question. Phoenix arrives and tells Tsubasa since he still doesn't understand the meaning of his advice, he'll show him. He then, challenges Gingka to a battle.

Gingka squares off for his rematch against Phoenix and starts with a powerful attack with equal strength as Fireblaze. Gingka's friends say to Gingka to use his special move Stormbringer to put out Fire Blaze flame and win the battle quickly. Gingka says that was the whole point stunning Phoenix. Gingka commands his Special Move but fails as Phoenix commands Fireblaze to stop it repelling Pegasus and shocking Gingka, but before he realizes it Gingka's Pegasus is hammered with a wall attack by Fireblaze. Phoenix states that Gingka cannot lose because at their last meeting Gingka stated that he will not lose and the next time he does will be the day he quits beyblade shocking Gingka. Phoenix says men don't go back on their words, Gingka agrees and commands Pegasus to attack but misses and ends up being trapped. Phoenix states that this is the for Gingka and commands his special move .

Gingka is then told by his friends that he promised to meet them at battle Bladers. Everyone is shocked at the site that Gingka says that the battle is not over and will not lose. Gingka states that he made a solemn promise that he will make it to battle Bladers. Gingka is then surprised at the site that Kyoya has arrived and said that he will be the only one to defeat Gingka which encourages Gingka to raise his spirit and say that he will win. Gingka uses his true strength and uses a move similar to Kyoya's Lion Gale Force Wall to extinguish Fireblaze's flame which surprises Phoenix as his attacks are being evaded. Madoka notices that all of Gingka's tactics are similar the ones his friends use repelling Fireblaze.

Tsubasa then realizes that he has picked up his friends moves and improved his own strength. Gingka then commands a special move which misses its target of Fireblaze due to it only being a move that works with a target on the floor. Everyone is then surprised at Gingka stating that that was his whole plan and commands Pegasus to use its true special move to attack a vulnerable Fireblaze and earning Gingka victory over Phoenix surprising everyone and earns respect from Phoenix as proof that he has defeated him by giving Gingka 48,000 Beypoints making Gingka's total 95,000 allowing him to qualify for Battle Bladers. Tsubasa comes in.

"Tsubasa", said Gingka.

"What do you want?", said Benkei.

"So you are trying to get in Gingka's way again", said Hikaru.

"Wait! He is telling you the truth"

Everybody turned around and saw Gen. She came near Tsubasa and faced them.

"Gen? Where were you? Did he do anything to you?", said Gingka.

"What? No, he is a friend, he is working for the WBBA.... guess I have no other choice (she turns around and faces Tsubasa, takes his ID which shocks Tsubasa)..have a close look at this....", said Gen showing his WBBA ID to them. Everybody gets shocked. Tsubasa looks at her.

"He went as an undercover for the WBBA to look into what the Dark Nebula's plans are, when he got what he needed, he rescued me from them, you guys have to believe me, i am not lying to you", said Gen.

"If you trust Tsubasa, then we will believe you", said Gingka.

Tsubasa requests that he battle alongside as rival and friend.

"If you were with Tsubasa, all along, why didn't you come so that we didn't have to battle him", asked Kenta to Gen.

"Well she was enjoying herself at the WBBA with ice cream, right Gen?", said Tsubasa.

"I may have got a little bit distracted with everything....", said Gen rubbing her head with embarrassment.

"Ice cream? Oh man, were there burgers too?", said Gingka.

"Well...oh yeah, I must say it was all tasty and yummy", said Gen irritating Gingka.

"Oh come on", said Gingka. Everybody laughed.
