《back to you | gingka x reader》🦋|04|🦋

There was this uneasy feeling, like someone else was in my room. I slowly peeled my eyes open and took a look at my surroundings. My gaze was blurry and it took a while until I adjusted to the lighting in the room. There at the door frame stood the main suspect for my awakening. I was a little surprised to see that it was Gingka but also a wave of relief washed over me since it wasn't an intruder or something.
"Gingka?" I whispered softly, wondering if my eyes were correct. He came closer to the bed in order for me to see him properly. He was wearing his light blue pajama pants and the matching t-shirt, his hair was messy, his eyes were red and his forehead was sweaty. Even like that I can't help but think he is handsome but I was also very worried. Did he cry? And if so what for? Did he have a nightmare? "Are you okay, Gingka?" I asked him, reaching for his hand. I gently took his tired, rough hands in mine, he looked down at our hands and smiled.
"I had a nightmare…about you," he whispered tiredly, his eyes filled with tears again. I was a bit shocked to hear that and I didn't know what exactly to say so I just squeezed his hands tighter, hoping he would understand that he could tell me anything. "I…I couldn't help you…you were…you were in the storm and…Kyoya was there too. He was going to hurt you and I couldn't save you…I was frozen, I couldn't do anything, Y/n…I am sorry." That guy from yesterday…with the Leone bey. I'm not gonna lie, I was scared. This Kyoya guy was a strong and very powerful man and you shouldn't be messing around with him. I gently wrapped my arms around Gingka in a hug which he returned in less than a second. His arms around my waist were pulling me as close to him as possible. I snuggled my head against his chest and closed my eyes. He rested his head on the crook of my neck, gently rubbing his nose against the exposed skin on my shoulder. The gesture was simple and not so intimate but it successfully sent shivers down my spine and sent my mind into the cosmos.

"It's okay. It was just a nightmare…I am here, I am not going anywhere," I whispered only for him to hear, giving him as much time as he needed to calm down.
Suddenly he started to leave tiny kisses along my neck and shoulder which only made my condition worse. My face was heating and my whole head went crazy with all kinds of thoughts. Gingka wasn't someone with an extremely dirty mind nor was I but this really had a strange effect on me. His kisses became more and more passionate and I'd be lying if I say I didn't like it but the time was not exactly right and I still felt very sleepy.
"G-gingka…p-please," I was trying extremely hard to stop the sounds which wanted to escape my mouth, luckily he immediately stopped after I spoke.
"I'm sorry…I shouldn't have done this-" he began to apologize but I shushed him with my index finger on his soft lips.
"It's fine- I just don't think now's the right time," I smiled at him.
"Are you sure? I don't wanna make you feel uncomfortable." his eyes were looking at me with guilt in them. I just nodded and pulled him in my embrace.
"I told you it's alright. Now you should go back to bed," I replied, he smirked and let his hand caress my cheek.
"I should be the one telling you this, I feel so useless," I brushed a lock of red hair from his face.
"You've done it in the past, now I'll do it for you," I kept running my fingers through his soft hair. "You've been there when I needed you,"
"I will always be." he closed the gap between us. The kiss was not long but he made it seem like it lasted forever. I felt weak in the knees, my stomach was filled with butterflies. He was so gentle it made me feel like I was up there in the clouds, all that I could feel was his sweet lips and the softness of his hands around me. The whole thing was like a trip through the galaxy and back but alas it came to an end.

"Wow…" I breathed, a new portion of air entered my lungs.
"Wow," he copied. "This…was amazing,"
"This was the most amazing kiss in the universe," I giggled and rested my forehead on his.
"You are right," he chuckled softly. I yawned. "Looks like I am not the only one who needs to go back to bed." Gingka whispered teasingly in my ear.
"Yeah, yeah I will…go to…bed when you go too." I yawned in between my words. He smiled, kissing my forehead before leaving the room. We looked one last time at each other before he closed the door. Everything that happened in these late hours was going to be discussed in the morning.

Summon Imp!
Travel with a newly born demon as he grows and learns in his own world as well as in other worlds as he gets summoned again and again. Usually to die or kill for others in strange and exciting places, but it's never certain what the next one will bring. It has its perks. With each new world comes a new story with new experiences and new lessons. There is always more to see, more to learn and more to know. Maybe, someday, it will all make sense. For now he will just work hard to become stronger, to be useful and, hopefully, survive that way. A coming-of-age story, but different. Things start to slow down to a crawl. Colors blur into one another until my vision is completely white. All I can think is "Shit, not this again!" I hate being summoned. _________________________________ updates once a week until I get more time The idea for this story began in two places. One was the ridiculously rapid pace of gaining power in many novels. Both in games and in novels, I enjoy the struggle of the beginning character, why always the rush? The other was the way many monster or non-human MCs always seem to hurry to become human (again). It always felt like a cheap way to grant the character extra powers without the difficulty of writing a non-standard thought process. Thus I wanted to write the slow(ish) progression of a monster character gaining strength and intelligence, while remaining distinctly non-human. There are no stats, xp or systems, no reincarnated soul or completely formed being to start with - unless I want to make fun of those. While the MC 'evolves', the process takes months if not years to proceed step by little step. Sit down with me and imagine, what would it be like if...

Heart of the Dungeon
A lazy, wingless, blabbermouth of an imp, smearing goat’s blood all over the crystal – that is the unpleasant view this new Heart wakes up to. “I’m your Prime!” the imp says. The Heart reluctantly agrees. In an unknown world, filled with dangers, it needs every help it can get – even if said help is not…optimal. The Heart tries its best to succeed, even after being tricked by shrewd traders and having less than useful minions. Rival races settle in the Dungeon, causing even more headaches. The heroes, as they call themselves, sets their aim on the ‘new and defenseless’ Dungeon. The heroes are always lurking in the shadows – well actually, they are standing in the open, under the sun, hiding nothing – but either way, their evil intentions, no matter how they claim to justify them, only cause needless death. “Am I really that precious? Must you hunt me so fiercely? Why are you doing this to me?” The Heart does not understand their motives. Perhaps its lack of understanding has something to do with the fact the Heart has no physical limits nor material needs. Why take it from someone, when you can simply will it forth? Just pay for it with mana rent! To make things worse, the real dangers are not from above, nor from below, but from within…
