《back to you | gingka x reader》🦋|03|🦋

I woke up from some knocking on the door. I murmured something, barely audible and turned my head towards the door. Whoever was behind the door took my strange talking as a sigh to come in. Turns out it was my beloved blader. My gaze was blurry and I was still half asleep but the beauty of mr. Gingky shines brighter than the sun itself so I just rubbed my eyes and whispered something.
"What was that?" he came close to my bed and knelt down in front of my face.
"I said 'good morning'" I repeated this time a bit louder.
"Oh good morning to you too!" he patted my hair and kissed my forehead.
"M'hair is a mess," I said, trying so hard to wake up fully.
"For me, you look beautiful anyway," he whispered while playing with my hair. It was way too early for his sweet words. I was still trying to wake up and his speaking already sent my thoughts in heaven. My heart was filled with butterflies and my face was warming up.
"Damn you lover boy," I giggled and ran my fingers through his hair. What's with him? Since when did this guy turn into a romantic? He's always been acting like that with me but I thought that all those years will change him at least a bit. Turns out I am wrong and he is still that same loving and caring Gingka.
"Breakfast is done. You wanna eat?" he asked. I simply nodded and he left the room without saying anything else. To my surprise he returned with a tray in his hands and a smile on his face. The breakfast consisted of a nice cup of tea and pancakes with strawberries. Words failed to explain how happy I felt at that moment. This was absolutely adorable.
"Y-you could've just…you-I…uh…thank you so much," I managed to say.
"You are welcome, anything for my angel," he chuckled sweetly and put the tray on the nightstand
"You are killing me and it's like 9 a.m." I responded with a giggle.
"It's been so long, I missed you so much-" he scratched the back of his neck "-and I want to make up for all these years we were separated,"

"It's so sweet of you," I reached to wrap my hands around him in a hug. His arms were on my waist in no time. I pulled him until he was sitting next to me on the bed. I put my head against his chest and relaxed into his touch. He was warm and cuddly like a giant plushie. I love it.
"You wanna eat now?" he whispered softly.
"Just one more minute," I responded, sinking deeper into his warmth. His arms were loosely wrapped around me and his head rested on top of mine.
"Okay," he chuckled again and closed his eyes.
After the breakfast in bed which was kindly given to me by mr. Gingky I needed to get dressed. Gingka left the room and I chose my outfit of the day. It was a basic white tee with a quote written on it saying 'believe in yourself', some jean shorts I had and the sneakers I always wear. I let my hair down, fixing some strands in place with bobby pins. I shoved my phone in my back pocket and went to see if Gingka was ready.
When I walked in the kitchen he was near the sink, drinking water. He put the glass in the sink and smiled at me.
"Ready to go?" he asked and I nodded. We left the apartment and locked the door, Ryo had already left for work and left us a note saying that he will be back at 7 p.m. Now we were off to meet Kenta, Benkei, Yu, Madoka and I think that Kyoya guy was coming too.
We met at a bey stadium where everyone was waiting for the two of us.
"Hey, what took you so long?" Yu spoke first.
"I overslept," I looked down at my feet, feeling embarrassed.
"It's fine, you are here now. I am Madoka, nice to meet you!" a girl with brown hair and gorgeous blue eyes came to me. We were about the same height, I shocked her hand.
"Y/n, nice to meet you too!" I replied smiling. It took me a second to see the mysterious green haired boy next to Benkei but there was no doubt this was Kyoya. He looks like he has a lion as a pet as strangely as it sounds. Our eyes met and I felt shivers run down my spine. His cold blue eyes looked at me in a way which felt almost predatory. Like I was some little goat and he was a lion ready to tear me apart. Only looking at him gave me the creeps.

"So you are Gingka's friend huh?" his voice was not as scary as I expected but still. I tried to collect all my courage and answer.
"I am. And you are the legendary Kyoya aren't you?" Surprisingly this wasn't as bad as I thought it would sound. His smirk grew at the adjective I used to introduce him. I took this as a sign that he wasn't going to eat me.
"You got that right, doll." he replied. Oh how lovely now the creepy dude gave me a nickname. Should I be flattered or more scared? I wasn't sure…so I just smiled and turned my gaze towards Gingka. He on the other hand was now looking at Kyoya in a way I've never seen Gingka look. He looked like he was gonna come at Kyoya in any second and beat him. Also his hand was holding mine tightly which I didn't realise until just now. Was he jealous? Sweet, now I am more scared than ever.
"Since you are here now Gingka, let's battle!" Kenta pointed his bey at Gingka. Thank the Lord for you Kenta! Gingka looked down at me like he was waiting for an answer. I just smiled and said "Have fun!" and he returned my smile.
"Let it rip!" and the battle between Kenta and Gingka had begun. At first Sagittario was dodging Pegasus's attacks pretty well but then they became more frequent and it was struggling to dodge them. After a few more simple attacks Gingka decided to use his special move. Kenta did the same and both their special moves were very powerful but after that they were still spinning so the battle continued a little longer. In the end Gingka won barely. The important thing is that at least they had fun. Next battle: Kyoya vs Gingka. My mind froze and I could barely think. It will be fine. It will be fine. It'll be fine.
And it really was until the battle got more intense. Kyoya used The king lion reverse wind strike against Pegasus's Star booster attack.
"Hey Y/n, watch closely!" he yelled. I felt so weird at that moment. Was he trying to impress me? Not gonna lie, his move was pretty fascinating but nothing compares to the star booster attack.
"Yeah angel, watch how I defeat him!" Gingka yelled too. With no other choice I kept watching the battle.
It ended with a tie. Not bad lion boy. Both of them were exhausted though. Gingka took a seat next to me and I let him rest his head on my shoulder which I found to be so adorable. Kyoya sat next to Madoka who was sitting next to me. Now Benkei and Kenta were fighting. Yu was going to fight the winner from that battle after he gets his daily portion of ice cream. I told him to get some for me as well and strangely no one except the two of us wanted. Losers. Anyways the battles continued and soon everyone was hungry so we headed to a place where we could have lunch. Since it was selected by Gingka it was no surprise that it was his favourite - burgers.
"You are going to eat all of that?" I couldn't believe my eyes. Five burgers, five boxes with french-fries and a soda. He wasn't kidding when he said that he was so hungry he could eat a truck. What even happens to all this food? He's so fit while also eating all this junk food?! I wanna have this power too, you know!
After the heavily needed lunch break we went for a walk around the town just to spend some more time with the gang. Another few hours of wandering around and having fun and me and the horse boy were heading home. It was like 6:30 p.m. so we still had some time to spare before Gingka's dad was coming back.
Gingka and I played uno cards, talked about whatever came to our minds, made some dinner, watched Lego Ninjago and Naruto while cuddling on the couch.
When Ryo was back we talked some more and had dinner. And just like that it was time for bed.
"Good night, Gingka." I hugged him.
"Sweet dreams, Y/n." he kissed the top of my head while returning the hug. I said 'Good night' to Ryo too and went to bed wondering what the next day had to offer.
