On the way there we were stopped by some people who I immediately recognised as Gingka's friends.
"Hey there you guys!" he greeted them.
"Hi Gingka and…uh who are you?" The question came from a little boy with pretty brown eyes and green hair.
"Name's Y/n. Nice to meet you!" I stretched my hand for him to shake and he introduced himself as Kenta.
"And who exactly is your friend, Gingky?" The other little boy with blond hair and green eyes asked him. I grinned at the mention of the nickname, I used to call him like that as well.
"She is my best friend," he wrapped his arm around my shoulders and pulled me close to him. "We've known each other since diapers and she is one of the greatest things in my life." he smiled widely, I on the other hand blushed a little. I really like Gingka too, I love him so much but I don't think he would want us to be in a relationship. He is very busy all the time with beyblade and we haven't seen each other since he left the village. In any case, I still support him and I care for him even as a friend.
"You seem so cool! I am Yu by the way," the green eyed boy shocked my hand.
"Y/n, as you already know," I smiled.
"And I am Benkei," the tall man behind the boys introduced himself. I shocked his strong hand and gave him a smile which he returned. "So where are you two going?" he asked. Just as I was about to answer Gingka did.
"We are heading over to my dad's office. He really wants to see her,"
"Oh are you a couple or something?" Kenta questioned.
"Uh...well…no we are just friends you know?" I quickly murmured with a very awkward grin on my face.

Gingka's face lost its light at that answer. Did she really see him just as a friend? It's true that they haven't seen each other in a long time but he really thought that now they could be more than friends because she truly meant the world to him.
"Okay then, see you around Gingka and Y/n," Kenta said and the three of them went their way.
~
"You okay?" I looked at his eyes and he looked kind of sad which is unusual for him.
"Yeah I am fine. Let's go, dad is waiting for us." Gingka grabbed my hand and dragged me to the building we were going to.
It took a few minutes but we found Ryo's office so I knocked on the door and he told us to come in and we did. He was at his desk, reading something on his computer.
"Hey, dad!" Gingka spoke and approached Ryo's desk, my hand still in his.
"Oh hello there Gingka," he was too occupied with the documents he was reading that he didn't notice me.
"Good morning, mr. Hagane!" I said to get his attention. He lifted his head and as soon as he saw me his face lit up in a huge smile.
"Y/n! It's been centuries! I am so happy to see you!" he stood up and gave a warm welcoming hug. "You look very beautiful," he spoke again as we separated.
"And you look very classy in a suit," I returned the compliment. He chuckled alongside his son.
"How have you been, my dear?"
And with that we spent the whole day 'till the afternoon talking and telling stories. I watched every single battle from the Battle Bladers to the World Championships but hearing them from the winner's perspective was so much different. Gingka was truly amazing and so were his teammates. Although I was a little upset about not being there for him I was genuinely happy for him.

Back to reality. Gingka was talking about how he defeated Damian at the last battle. I started to feel tired, my eyes began to close and I didn't notice how my head fell on Gingka's shoulder.
~
"Wow, am I really that boring?" Gingka looked down at you. He carefully moved the hair from your face.
"She is just very tired," Ryo spoke. "I guess it's time to go home."
Gingka gently touched your face and smiled.
"Hey sunshine, it's time to go home," he softly whispered.
~
"Hm? Oh…I am sorry," I rubbed my eyes and looked at him. "B-but I don't have anywhere to stay," Gingka looked up to his father.
"Can she stay at our place, dad?" he asked him. Ryo thought for a moment and then smiled down at us.
"Of course, but don't get any ideas I will clean the guests room," he answered seriously. Both our faces turned bright red, we've never thought of doing something like that…
"Uh…yes, let's go then." Gingky managed to say. And with that we left for their home. I had a bag with me where I carried my clothes and a few other things like a hair brush, a book etc.
When we arrived Gingka's dad opened the door and we entered the little apartment. It was honestly a very nice and cozy place. The kitchen and the living room were connected. There was a table on top of which sat a half empty cup of coffee and a spoon. A small couch was placed a few steps away from the table. In front of the couch was a coffee table with a remote control on it. On the wall opposite the sofa a tv was hanging. There was also a hallway where I am assuming the other rooms are. This wasn't just an apartment, but a true home, it contained the love a father felt for his son and the special connection they shared.
"I will prepare something for dinner, Gingka please clean the guests room and help Y/n with her stuff." Ryo instructed.
"Thank you mr. Hagane!" I spoke and we headed over to the place where I will stay.
The room consisted of a small bed with a blue blanket on it, a night stand next to it and a wardrobe on the other side of the bedroom. It looked perfect.
"I will bring you clean sheets and a pillow," Gingka left the room. I looked around again and then opened my bag. I took out my hair and tooth brush, my sketchbook along with a pen and my pajamas. Next I just put the bag with the rest of my belongings in the little wardrobe, I will deal with them tomorrow. By this time the redhead was back with the sheets.
"Already, let's get started," I had no idea what he was up to, but quickly realised that he was actually making the bed. It looked very pretty at the end. I couldn't help myself and laid down on the bed. It was soft and surprisingly warm.
"My little angel's tired? What gives?" Gingka tickled my nose with a teasing grin on his lips.
"Shut up," I giggled and buried my face in the pillow. I really needed to sleep.
"Dinner!" Ryo called from the kitchen. Thank goodness! After that I will finally go to bed.
*
"It was delicious mr. Hagane!" I said, cleaning my lips with the napkin.
"I am glad you liked it Y/n but please call me The immortal phoenix!"
"Yeah sure," I giggled and soon all of us were laughing happily.
