I was sitting by the little river looking at the sun and the clouds which were dancing in the endless sky. As I was in my own world I didn't notice that someone sat beside me.
"Hello gorgeous, it's been a while," the familiar male voice got me out of my trans and I opened my eyes to be met by a pair of beautiful golden brown ones. Oh I've missed them so much. Without saying a word I quickly embraced the redhead sunshine and he returned it in no time.
"I missed you," I murmured, lifting my head so I can have a look at his face.
"I missed you too, angel." he smiled widely when our eyes met again. My face gained a slight shade of pink at the mention of my old nickname. Only Gingka used to call me angel because one time when I was a child I made myself a pair of wings and tried to fly. The only bad part of this was my lack of flying which resulted in almost breaking my leg, however Gingka caught me in time and said "You should be more careful angel." After this day it became his favourite nickname for me.
"How have you been?" my eyes travelled his face and observed his lower body too. His arms looked more buff, his hair was looking soft and pretty as always, his eyes were sparkling and the little bandage that he had on his nose since a toddler was still there. Also he was way taller than I remembered.
"You know how it is in the village, nothing really exciting happens when you are not around," I looked down at the water. Gingka followed my gaze and slowly nodded. "How have you been? You were in the World Championships, Battle Bladers. You've had so many fun battles, haven't you?" He looked at me again and smiled.

"Yes, I had. But you know, every battle I have always leads me back to you somehow." my face turned even darker shade of pink and I put my hand over his mouth.
"Stop it! Your flirting is awful!" a boyish chuckle escaped his lips. I couldn't help but smile.
"My dad really wants to see you. When I told him that you were coming he wouldn't stop asking me questions."
"I really want to meet him again too. It's been so long," I looked sadly at him.
"Hey, don't look at me like that. I am here now," he pulled me close to him in a gentle and loving hug which I gladly returned. We stayed like this for a few more moments. "Shall we go now?" he whispered in my ear softly.
"Yes," I answered and with that we headed over to his father's office.
