table in the Great Hall, Ivy had her Potions book propped open as she placed a spoonful of cereal into her mouth. Jasper sat quietly besides her, making flirty eyes at a Hufflepuff across the Hall. Whilst, Donna quietly read her favourite muggle book; Pride and Prejudice.
Suddenly, someone sat right in front of the red head. Catching her by surprise as she jumped in her seat, spilling some of the cereal onto her robes. Groaning she placed the spoon down into the bowl before trying to wipe the milk off using her sleeve.
"Sorry," James Potter sheepishly grinned at the younger Gryffindor.
"It's fine," She replied looking up at the messy haired boy, "What do I owe for the pleasure of this visit?"
"Well, I'm glad you asked," James replied, pulling out a scrunched up piece of parchment from his pocket and unfolding it messily, accidentally elbowing Jasper which caused the boy to spill his pumpkin juice down his uniform as Ivy, Donna, James and even the Hufflepuff he was making eyes at laughed at his expression, "Sorry," James muttered, choking back his laughter before he turned his attention back to Ivy, "I need your help with this," He slid the parchment over to the red head girl.
Scrunching her eyebrows, Ivy took hold of the parchment. Her eyes scanned the messy handwriting that obviously belonged to the boy sat opposite her, "What in the name of God is this?" She asked, looking up at James as he puffed his chest out, "It's a love letter to Lily-pad," He simple replied.
Ivy stared blankly at the smug looking sixth year Gryffindor, "You can't be serious."
"He isn't," Jasper piped in, "He's James," He cowered away when Ivy glared at him, "I'm gonna go now," He quickly added, looking away from the glaring red head as he leapt from his seat and made his way casually over to the Hufflepuff table.

James turned back to face Ivy, "What's wrong with it?" He asked, tilting his head like a confused puppy.
"What's wrong with it?" The girl repeated, "It's horrendous!" She exclaimed, "No wonder my sister doesn't want to talk to you."
"What's that suppose to mean?"
"Well, right here at the bottom," She pointed to the small poem, "You literally wrote 'Roses are red. Violets are blue. Poems are hard. Am I am too.'"
"Well, I didn't make that poem!" He defended himself, "I found it out the Muggle way."
"Yeah, well, it's a horrible poem," Ivy told him.
The conversation caught Donna's attention, she glanced over Ivy's shoulder to read the poem herself before she looked up at James, shaking her head as she did so, "Disgusting," She muttered leaving James looking confused.
"I suggest you never ever write that poem anywhere, ever again," Ivy advised, pushing the parchment back towards James, "And the rest of the letter needs re-working. It just makes you sound desperate."
"But I am desperate," He pouted, "Desperate for her love. Oooo, that sounds good, don't you think?"
Both Donna and Ivy stared at the older boy, their faces blank as they simultaneously shook their heads slowly, side to side causing James to sigh as his shoulders deflated with defeat.
"We're playing with Ravenclaw tomorrow!" Suddenly, Noah's voice shouted behind Ivy. The girl jumped and turned to face the Quidditch Captain as he paced up and down, close to the Gryffindor table, with a satisfied smile on his face, "You, Potter, tell Black about it when you see him," He pointed at James as he spoke, however his eyes wandered around the rest of the Gryffindor table.

He slammed his hands down onto Ivy's shoulders, causing her to let out a small yelp, "Ravenclaws, you guys," He muttered, "We're so going to win," Noah chuckled to himself before removing his hands from the red head girl and practically skipping away from the table as James, Ivy and Donna watched him.
Donna snorted quietly, "He's definitely on drugs."
