《Love At First Fight {Regulus Black}》6. MUDBLOOD

corridors, Ivy held her books close to her chest. She had finally agreed to go to the library to finish - well, start - her homework with Donna; who had been in the library since the early morning.
Her ankle boots clicked on the floor of the magnificent castle as her red hair bounced on her shoulders with every step she took.
Suddenly, as she rounded one of the many corners of the school, she let out a gasp when her body collided with another sending her down to the floor as her books sprawled around her.
"Shit," She cursed under her breath, she scurried up and grabbed all of her books messily before the person who she collided with placed their large foot down on her Herbology book. Startled, Ivy looked up, her jade eyes widening when she noticed a older Slytherin student standing above her; Bartemius Crouch Junior.
"Watch where you're going, Mudblood," Bartemius spat fiercely, his eyes glaring dangerously at her.
Without uttering a single word, Ivy pushed Crouch's foot off her book and stood up.
"Did you just touch me?" He growled, pushing her back against the wall as he towered over her, "I don't like being touched by dirty, filthy, Mudbloods."
"And I don't care what you like or don't like," Ivy spat back, puffing her chest out and trying to look more intimidating but it was hard for a 5'4 female to do that, especially one that can feel fear bubbling in her stomach as she watched Crouch's intense stare boring into her.
He lifted his hand up and slapped the red head across the face, not even giving her time to react to the sudden movement he pressed the end of his wand to her neck, "What did you just say to me?" He asked, "What the fuck did you just say to me, Mudblood?!" He yelled, spit flying everywhere as he looked like a rapid dog.

Ivy couldn't deny that she felt scared.
Her legs began shaking and she was worried that she would just fall over at any given second. Her heart was hammering in her chest and she breathed heavily, her body tense.
Suddenly, Crouch was ripped away from the Gryffindor and carelessly flung across the floor.
Ivy Evans felt her knees buckle underneath her, and using the support of the wall behind her back, she slid down to the ground. Bringing her knees up to her chest as she watched Regulus Black standing over Crouch.
Sending the red head a sickening smile, Crouch smugly stood back up and casually, as if nothing had happened, strolled off out of her sight.
"Are you okay?" Regulus asked, placing his hand on top of Ivy's shoulder causing her to jump away from him and cower in fear, "Hey, hey, I'm not going to hurt you, okay?" He promised her, placing his hands up in the air as if he was surrendering.
Ivy let out a shaky breath, running her hand through her bright hair, "I'm fine," She mumbled, he eyed the red hand mark that was on her right cheek and lifted his eyebrows, "I'll be fine," She corrected herself, "Why did you do that?" She asked him once silence filled the air between them.
"I don't believe in violence against those who didn't initiate it," Regulus replied casually, shrugging his shoulders as he thrusted his hand towards the red head.
She looked at it skeptically.
"I'm going to help you up," Regulus explained, noticing her hesitant stare, "I don't bite."
Sending him a polite smile, Ivy reached her hand up to his. Her fingers curling around his palm which caused her breath to hitch in her throat before she got dragged up to her feet, "Thanks," She told him, her hand still clasped in his; an action that both of them seemed to forget about.

Regulus just shrugged, nonchalantly and nodded his head.
"I mean it, thank you," Ivy told him sincerely, her gorgeous jade eyes looking into his icy blue ones. She noticed his high cheekbones and the sharp jaw. She was so close to him she could make out small freckles splattered around his nose.
It seemed that she wasn't the only one looking at him so intently. His eyes scanned her face, noting the pale pink blush that crept up on her cheeks. Her cheekbones were high; not as visible as his own, but still decently prominent. Her jade eyes sparkled with life and her nose had a fair few freckles thrown across it. Ones that reminded him of a starry, night sky.
The red head finally cleared her throat awkwardly, her eyes moved from Regulus' face as she took her hand out of his and quickly bend down to pick up her books and a few pieces of parchment that got fell out accidentally. When she stood back up, she placed a strand of her red hair behind her ear as she gave Regulus a genuine smile, "I've got to go, I'm suppose to be meeting Donna..." She began, "But you don't care," She muttered to herself, shaking her head before she looked back into his incredibly blue eyes, "Thank you, once again."
Without giving him a chance to reply, Ivy rushed past him, her hair flying behind her as she speedily walked in the general direction of the library.
Regulus was stuck in his spot. His eyes watched as the red head walked away from him before he shoved his hands into his trouser pockets, "I do care."

Only problem was, I didn't realize there was someone sleeping in the back seat. •Damien Asher is the most feared Gang Leader to the Asher Noir Gang, so when he wakes up to someone driving his car like a madman, he was to kill them. That's until he notices it's a beautiful girl covered in paint, well that and the fact the cops are currently chasing them. So he does what he thinks is best; he kidnaps the girl who kidnapped him first.

Gabriel may suspect more about her than she knows about herself, but he isn't telling her. Why not?
