(Shido's POV)

It's been about two weeks since the incidents at the carnival. And since I've seen Origami, honestly I'm worried about her she's normally somewhere around she hasn't even tried to call me yet.

"Man, it's so nice and peaceful today I wonder what I might do."- Shido

'Shido, Shido!'- Kotori

"Huh Kotori, What's the matter?"- Shido

'It's a spirit!'- Kotori

"A what!?"- Shido

After I was teleported onto the ship by Kotori and the others I ran to the main room where Kotori and the others where.

"Kotori, what's going on how can there be a spirit when the spacequake alarm didn't go off."- Shido

"That's not the main issue look at the screen."- Kotori

I did what she told me to do but when I did I was shocked beyond belief. I saw a spirit with red hair and red eyes that seemed to be filled with anger and hatred, with some type of armor on their shoulders. But the thing that stood out the most the thing that made me so surprised was that it wasn't another girl spirit.... it was a male one.

"Is....is that a?"- Shido

"Yep, a male spirit."- Kotori

"It's a shock I'm sure but apparently he's the first of his kind to be seen, so it's possible there's more males."- Reine

I won't act like I'm not surprised or saw this coming. What exactly am I supposed to do with this I've only delt with female spirits am I going to do the same with him? I looked a bit closer and saw he was fighting some type of robots and on managed to hit him in to a tree.

"Those look like the robots from the Italian branch of the A.S.T."- Kotori

"Why you little!"- ???

The spirit balled his hand into a fist and the unthinkable happend, it cought fire.

"I'm gonna smash your stupid faces in!!!!"- ???

The spirit started to run at the and punches one right through the chest. He might be as strong as Toka was when we first met possibly stronger. I kept watching in astonishment seeing him fight, it's crazy this guy is like a total beast he's destroying them left and right with little to no effort.

"Grrraaaaaahh!!!!!!!!"- ???

"Flames!? But I thought!"- Shido

"We don't know either, it might me just a coincidence or something, but what we do know is that he's dangerous."- Renie

"So wait, what exactly do you want me to do?"- Shido

"What else...a date."- Kotori

"But um.... I don't think that'll work."- Shido

"I guess your right, I mean...it is a guy."- Kotori

"That shouldn't really matter if we can somehow manage to talk to him and get him to calm down it should be easy to seal Hephaestus."- Reina

"Hephaestus?"- Shido

"That's what the Italian branch was called him. So it goes without saying he might be Italian and not speak our language well."- Reina

"Okay Shido...get ready."- Kotori

"Right, hope this works."- Shido

'Damn these stupid robots, why can't they just leave me alone!?'- Hephaestus

I was panting heavily trying to catch a breath from the fight I just got out of. This is pretty normal to me, being on the run that is I'm originally from Italy but I got sick of all the crap there so I ran, but these damn bots followed me.

"Um, hello?"- ???

I turned my head to see a male with straight blue hair and bands down to his neck and amber brown eyes, he looks to be about my age.

Before I even let him speak I summoned my sword and pointed it at his throat with a look that says I will kill you.

"Hai circa 5 secondi per dirmi cosa diavolo vuoi prima che ti tagli la testa."- Hephaestus

"I-I-I'm sorry but I don't understand what you're saying!!"- ???

'Oh right I'm in Japan, actually come to think of it what am I doing? This guy was probably just walking by or something.'- Hephaestus

"I'm sorry, I might have been a little overboard. But if I'm honest considering what I've been through for the past few days and what I just got done doing it's kinda reasonable why I'm on edge."- Hephaestus

I put my sword down away from his neck but kept it in my hand just in case he tried to do anything funny. Something about this guy's off, I can feel he's human but I also feel the presence of 3 no wait 4 and a half spirit powers on him. One feels familiar the other ones I don't know who.

"So, I'm Shido Itsuka. Who are you?"- Shido

"Shido Itsuka, hm...that's a funny name."- Hephaestus

'Rude!'- Shido

"I can't really talk I don't really have a name other than what those A.S.T. guys call me which is Hephaestus. But four people I've met know me by (y/n)"- (y/n)

'This is strange, he seems way different than how he was before.'- Kotori

"So what are you doing in a place like this?"- (y/n)

"Oh, you see I wanted to come and see what was up."- Shido

"Smart way to get yourself killed dude."- (y/n)

'Dude? He talks like a regular person. Is he really a spirit?'- Shido

Me and this Shido guy kept talking for a bit about regular or random stuff. I've told him about all I've been through and stuff like that and he's told me about what he's been through, but I've kept some stuff a secret on my end. It got dark pretty fast and Shido said it was getting a little cold and seeing as I'm a nice enough guy I found someone dead tree branches and stuff like that to start a fire or currently just sitting on some rock still talking.

"Oh I get it, this Origami girl is a member of the A.S.T. and after what happened you haven't seen her?"- (y/n)

"Yeah, I can't help but worry about her you know? Not only that but all this other stuff too."- Shido

"Heheh, I can see your life is a pain sometimes."- (y/n)

'It's actually pretty nice to just talk someone like this true Kotori did get mad at me for explaining what was going on to him and everything else, but honestly it just slipped out.'- Shido

'Well look at that his happiness meter has actually gone up a bit even though we didn't help him.'- Kotori

"Hey Shido?"- (y/n)

"Yeah what's up?"- Shido

"Look, I like you dude....but not in THAT way. I'm into girls and the whole you having to kiss me thing, that's not gonna happen. So I have a compromise for you."- (y/n)

"A compromise?"- Shido

"Yeah, I'll keep my spirit powers. But, you can have someone watch me so I won't do anything that might disagree with your sister."- (y/n)

"Wait really, you'd do that?"- Shido

"Hey it's either that or I go back to running or possibly Japanese A.S.T. will come after me and seeing as their humans if I fight them I will kill them. There is no might or possibly you saw what I did to those robots."- (y/n)

"Hmmm, you know what (y/n) that actually doesn't sound too bad."- Shido

"What about your sister?"- (y/n)

"Hey Kotori, what do you say?"- Shido

'Well it's a lot better than the original plan and he is the one who's willingly suggesting this so I don't see why not.' Kotori

"Well then, I guess we've got a new spirit living with us."- Shido
