《Hotshot? ~{Tomboo}~》~{Chapter 8}~

Tommy pulled away to breath and I tried pulling him back. He put his hand to my chest, "That's enough."
I licked my lips clean of saliva and then wiped his mouth with my sleeve, "You taste really good Tommy."
He blushed, "Shut up! You big dummy!"
I chuckled and kissed his nose, "Okay cutie, I'm sorry."
"Don't call me that." He said.
I wrapped my arms around his waist, "Why not?"
He looked at me like the answer was obvious, "Because I said so."
"Fine, jeez. But, can I atleast hold you a little longer?" I asked.
"No. Infact let me go." He said demandingly.
I sighed and moved him off me. We sat on the bed side by side......nothing to say to each other.
"Tommy?" I asked softly.
"What now?" He asked annoyed.
I held his hand, "Will you be my boyfriend?"
He pulled his hand away and yelled, "What the fuck!? No! Never! Oh my gosh ew! Why would you even ask that!?"
I frowned, "Tommy we just made out!"
He rolled his eyes with a visible blush upon his cheeks, "Doesn't mean anything."
I scoffed, "How does that not mean anything?"
"Cause it can't! Otherwise I'm terrible!" He whined into his hands.
This confused me....what was really going on with him?
I put my arm around him, "What's the matter Tommy?"
He groaned, "I'm the worst friend ever!"
I raised a brow, "Why's that?"
"No reason...just go home." He said sounding frustrated.
I stood up, "I'll go now....,but I hope your okay Tommy."
He sighed and looked at me, "You don't make it easy to hate you."
I smiled, "Good....I want you to like me."
He blushed, "Well you've got a long way."
I shrugged, "I'm willing to wait."
He smiled a little, "Your...not horrible."
I chuckled, "Thankyou....and your very handsome."

He smirked, "What are you after?"
I smirked too, "You...."
"Come down and say goodbye then." He bit his lip.
I raised an eyebrow, "Oh?"
I leaned down and he kissed me softly. When we pulled away I sighed, "Why won't you just date me?"
He laughed, "I just can't...now go on."
I rolled my eyes, "Alright, well I'll see you at school."
He shook his head softly, "Yeah whatever, time for you to go."
He stood up and led me to the door. He ushered me out and I waved to him, "Goodbye handsome."
"Don't call me that. And bye." He waved.
I smiled at him and he rolled his eyes then closed the door in my face. I shook my head then walked away to the bus stop.
He's something else.....
As I was walking down the sidewalk with my lovestruck smile a familiar joined me.
I looked to the side of me to see Tubbo, "Hello Ranboo! How did the project go?"
I kept my smile, "Great....more than great actually..."
Tubbo raised an eyebrow, "What's that supposed to mean?..."
I chuckled, "Nothing."
He nodded confused, "Okay....well uh- was Tommy nice to you?"
I smirked, "He was more than nice..."
"Uhm....I'm sorry, but I don't understand why you keep adding 'more than' to everything you say about Tommy." He awkwardly laughed.
I shrugged, "Doesn't matter. So....why're you out here?"
He blushed lightly, "Well I was uh- doing garden work?- and I saw you walking out of Tommy's so I thought I'd say hello."
"Kay...." there was awkard silence, so I picked up a topic I really wanted to talk about, "Anything I should know about Tommy?" I asked.
Tubbo seemed confused I'd asked about Tommy, but he seemed to shake it off as he replied to me, "Well....he can be a hothead, though I'm sure I've told you already."

I chuckled, "Yeah, he can."
"Sometimes he's not always mad." He added.
I furrowed my eyebrows confused, "So what is it then?"
"Well....it can be anger, but most of the times he becomes a hot head when he's sad." Tubbo frowned thinking of his friend.
"Why choose to act out when your really sad?" I asked.
Tubbo sighed, "Tommy would rather push people away then recieve help or comfort."
I frowned, "Well that's not good.....who does he go to for advice? Isn't there someone he goes to to make him feel better? To feel safe?"
Tubbo nodded, "Yeah, ofcourse. Everyone has their one forever person. Wether it be friend, sibling, or lover."
"....Is Tommy's a friend, sibling, or a lover?- and who are they?" I asked kinda jealous.
Tubbo giggled, "A friend....well, best friend actually. And its me, silly."
I smiled relieved, "Oh right, well that makes sense."
He nodded, "Yep, been friends since forever."
"That's awsome." I replied as we arrived at the bus stop.
"Yeah, well I'll see you around?" Tubbo asked smiling.
I chukled, "Yeah.....you and Tommy can hang with me whenever."
Tubbo blushed brightly, "Or.....maybe just us sometime?"
Oh no......was I that foolish to not realize?!
....Tubbo likes me?
Or maybe I'm just reading to much into it...
"Yeah sure. You must need a break from that adorable hothead sometimes, huh?" I laughed.
Tubbo looked at me confused, "Uh- yeah. Well....bye now!"
"Bye!" I waved as he walked off doing the same.
How odd....
Why'd he look at me like-
'Adorable hothead'...'Adorable Hothead!?"
Oh no! Tommy will kill me-....well at least he'll pay attention to me.
I sighed and shook my head then muttered, "Oh well."
As the bus arrived I hoped on. Then it went on its way to the next stop.
I'd gotten off the bus a short while ago. I had been walking home now.
As I left the big rich neighborhood I saw the familiar old train tracks. I quickly ran across them to the neighborhood on the other side.....my neighborhood.
Regular houses in good condition. They weren't fancy or rich, but they weren't poor or broken down.
I walked for a little longer till I came to my house. I knocked and waited for my father to answer.
The door slowly opened, "Hey bud! Welcome back, how was school?"
I walked in, "Good thanks. Sorry I'm a little late coming home, I was at someone's place working on a project."
"As long as your safe." My father smiled.
He always smiled.....Not in a creepy way, in a nice way....,but sometimes in a sad way.
He smiles so that I don't have to worry about anything that's going on...bills, food, water, anything really. He smiles through everything and I love him for that.
Like I said...I'm not rich- however I'm not broke either.
But, I live with my single father who does everything for me. Our relation to each other is complicated, and we don't have the same last name because of my mom....,but we don't talk about that. He used to play football back in his day, they nicknamed him Dream however his name is Clay. He quite enjoyed the sport so he taught me.
He wants me to get a scholarship...and earn a full ride to some top school. I'm trying. And I hope to make him proud.
"You hungry?" He asked.
I smiled, "No I'm okay, thankyou though."
"You gotta eat to stay fit." He said.
I sighed, "Did you eat?"
"Yeah a couple minutes ago, so you go ahead." He assured me.
However it wasn't assuring, but still I nodded, "Alright dad."
