"WHat just happened?! He, he said that we're 'dating' now. Does that make me his girlfriend?! I mean, he never specified...." I rambled the next day to Korra.

It was a break between practice.

"Whoa there, calm down. If you're unsure just ask him. Most likely he'll give you an answer." Korra says.

"Of course, I know that but....it just makes me so nervous to even think about it. On top of that, everybody will have questions that I don't know the answer to. I tried to explain what happened at the award ceremony but even I didn't know what happened." I express.

Korra thinks for a bit, "I guess that's a little on me. I was too focused on physically training you I forgot about how you need to know what you are, to begin with." She says. "Okay, I have a plan. I will try to get you to a place where you can learn about everything you need." She says, "Come back here tomorrow, whenever you aren't in the school thing."

I felt relieved when she said that she had a way for me to answer all my questions. "You're amazing Korra! I'm so glad you're here to help. I would be so lost without you." I hugged her as she hugs and gives me a pat on the back.

"It's no problem, Kid." She responds.

After a few more hours of training, I leave the spirit world and find something to eat in my kitchen. I think about how quickly yesterday happened, he didn't even seem to think about it, about telling me we were dating. Maybe he regrets it...

I shook that thought away. Just like Korra said, I will have to just ask him if I wanted to know. I'll ask him tomorrow when we walk to school.

I spent the rest of the day relaxing and meditating. My parents told me to rest, they were busy doing errands all day.

When Katsuki picked me up in the morning we walked in silence for a short while. I was too nervous about asking him but I built up the courage to ask.

"So are you my boyfriend now?" I asked pretty blatantly. I can't be any clearer than that.

He didn't react and just kept walking, looking forward.

"What kind of dumbass question is that. I made it pretty clear the other day." He responded.

"Right, of course, I just wanted to double-check," I replied and turned my attention to in front of me rather than the boy next to me.

If that's the case...then...

I hesitantly grabbed his hand as we continued walking. He yanked his hand away and I thought he didn't want to hold my hand but I looked and saw him wipe his hand on his blazer. Then he grabbed my hand again, He looked away from me but I could see his ear ever so slightly red.

I smiled and squeezed his hand as we walked.

We approached the entrance of the school and-unsure if he wanted people to know- I began to retract my hand, but he kept his grip on my hand. I guess he doesn't mind.

We separated when we reached our lockers to switch our shoes. Mina came over to me from her locker as I put my indoor shoes on.

"So, I saw you with Bakugou." She says with a grin, "Who knew you two would be a thing. He doesn't seem like the relationship type." She states.

"Yeah, I was kinda surprised two. We just barely became a couple though, so I'm still not sure." I say.

"Oh, I thought you two were together since before school started. My bad." She giggles. I chuckled.

She went ahead to class and I walked to the classroom with Katsuki. As we left, I heard a faint conversation about Tenya's brother, but it wasn't my business.

Everyone was in class and talking away. I sat at my desk as Mina approached me again,

"Hey let's exchange numbers! Friends gotta know each other's numbers right?" She says with a smile.

"Oh! Sure thing." I respond. We exchanged phones and inputted our numbers in the other's contacts. Once I did that, more people started to file into class and some people greeted me.

The bell rang and everyone went to their seats.

Mr. Aizawa talks about pro-hero drafting and how we will choose a hero name. He then shows the results of the drafting.

Shoto had the most, then it was me, and then Katsuki. We had the most, and then it's a big drop from there. I glanced at Katsuki, to see his reaction to being the third.

People comment on the amount that Shoto has.

"Of course a bunch of heroes would want you, Lin! You're wicked talented with your four quirks!" Kaminari exclaims.

I hear Katsuki grumble quietly. Sero points out that Katsuki's attitude during the awards ceremony may have been slightly deterred away.

We are going to be interning soon so today we will choose hero names.

I didn't think of anything oh no.

Ms. Midnight comes in to approve our names. One by one everyone goes up. In the meantime, I think of what my name would be, I want it to be related to what I am.

Everyone has such good names, I can't think of a name that creative.....but how about........

Katsuki goes up and tries to name himself "King explosion murder" what?

Of course, it was disapproved.

"How about Combustion boi?" I suggest with a giggle.

"No." He bluntly says.

"Okay then, how about," I lift my hands, "Sparky sparky boom man," I say. I hear a few chuckles and Katsuki huffs and sits back down to re-think his name.

"Miss Lin, how about you come up next." Ms. Midnight calls me up.

I take a deep breath, walk up, and displayed what I wrote down.

"Avatar Yin" I look to Ms. Midnight for her reaction.

"That's got a nice ring to it, but how is it related to your quirk?" she asks.

"Um...I just have so many that I feel like this name would suit anything." I say. I don't know enough about the avatar to explain it properly so it's the best I can do.

"Okay then... I like it anyway, it's approved." Midnight says. I go and sit back down.

When Katsuki walks back up for his redo he chooses,

"Combustion Man! Now that is much better and much less violent. Approved!" Midnight says. Katsuki glances at me when he passes my desk and sits back down.

that last of the students choose their name and now we start talking about the interning portion.

Midnights suggests one that fits our aspirations but I doubt there would be any agency that has anything avatar-related. It wouldn't hurt to find out how the system works from a real hero.

At lunch, Mina asks us if we chose an agency. Some shared what they chose so decided to share what I decided.

"I decided on the hero Shadow Samurai." I share.

"Ooooooo she's a little less well-known but I hear that she's a sweet person. But one tough mentor." Mina comments.

Can't be as tough as Korra probably.

I was walking home with Katsuki when I bring up the naming.

"Sooo.....should I start calling you Combustion Man now?" I ask with a grin.

He scoffs and looks at me, "Only when we're heroes." He responds.

"Okay....and when we're aren't being heroes?" I ask, "What abouuuuut," I say looking around. Katsuki gives me a suspicious look as if he was expecting me to make another silly nickname for him.

"____?" I say, which causes him to blush and huff a "whatever" and we continued.

When he dropped me off, I went to see what Korra had to help me learn.

"Hey, Korra! I brought a notebook for whatever you found that I can learn from!" I greet.

"Hey Kid, nice thinking ahead. Come on, this place will have everything you need to know." She stretches her hand out and I take it.

The surroundings blur and zoom by, it was very trippy. We stopped and I need a moment to shake off the dizziness. I collected myself and looked up.

We were underneath a huge upside-down building, covered in vines.

"Whoa...." I mumble as I awed at the magnificent structure.

"Come on," Korra says and has a spirit help her up into the building. Shortly after, a spirit picks me up and flies up after her.

When I caught up, I could not have been more amazed. Rows and rows of books, this was a huge library.

"Welcome to Wan Shi Tong's library, where you can find anything you need to learn about my time and even the times before," Korra announces.

I walk forward and look around, awestruck. Excitement grew, "I can't believe how big this library is...." I mumble.

I heard something land behind me and a gust of wind followed. I turned and saw a huge owl.

"Y/n, this is Wan Shi Tong," Korra says.

The large owl brings his face close to mine and speaks, "So this is the other avatar that The Avatar has told me about." They say.

I give a bow, "Yes I am. I was hoping to learn more about what the avatar is and how I am supposed to help the world." I explain.

I was questioned about my intentions but I still explained all I wanted to do was to learn. I was allowed to roam because Korra had cleared up some confrontations that she didn't tell me about.

I went down one row of the avatar section and began to read about the old avatars.
