One Day Later

After Ichigo found out was in another world, he found out as much information as he could. He read about Grimm, history, Aura, Semblances, and Faunus. He also discovered that this world had a different currency from Earth, which means... he was homeless and hungry, which is why he was currently in the forest outside of Vale, once again. With him is nothing but a campfire and a cooked deer he managed to hunt. In the middle of the night.

Ichigo: "Man, what am I going to do? Can I go back to my world or am I stuck here? And what am I going to tell people here when they start asking questions? Let's see... If they see my Getsuga Tenshou, I'll tell people it's Dust. Easy. But what about my Semblance? Flying? My Flash Step? My Bankai? Hmm... Many options... Flying is useful and all, but my Bankai is important as well. However, if I chose my Bankai as my Semblance, how would I explain my huge ass sword suddenly becoming a totally different weapon?" he sighs. "That option is too complicated to explain, so I think Bankai is out. Flying is really easy to explain, and it allows to travel easier. However, it's somewhat difficult to surprise your enemies without using Flash Step. My regular Flash Step now is as fast as my old Bankai with Hollowfication... Hmm... I think I'll go with Flash Step. It allows me to move incredibly quickly in short distance, so I'll just say it's a teleporting Semblance. My Getsuga Tenshou is fueled by Dust and my Semblance is my Flash Step. Got it. I can't use my Bankai unless I absolutely must. That would raise too many questions. Speaking of Hollowfication though, I am alone and pretty far from the city. I wonder..."

Ichigo goes away from the campsite so the wind from his Bankai doesn't blow out the fire.

Ichigo: "BANKAI!" he yells as a huge gust of wind appears. Ichigo swings his Tensa Zangetsu and the gust of wind disperses. "Alright, let's check this out."

He puts his hand over his face. With the swipe of his hand over his face, his mask appears; a white mask with horns attached to it. It has black lines stretching vertically across the eyes.

Ichigo (thoughts): 'Alright, my mask still works, although it now has horns. It probably changed when Zangetsu and I combined, just like my Bankai. It also feels heavier. I'll have to get used to that.' He thinks as he gazes at the broken moon in the sky. 'It's getting late. I should go to sleep and go into town tomorrow for more information.' Ichigo thinks as he dismisses his mask and Bankai.

He then goes back to the campsite and puts out the fire. He goes into the Mountain Glenn, which he found out about when researching Remnant History, and sleeps inside one of the abandoned buildings. Good think that he did or else he would have met an army of Grimm that were attracted to his Hollow Spirit Energy from using his Bankai and mask...

Salem's POV

In her castle, the Queen of Grimm is... curious for lack of a better term at this power in the east. Due to spending so much time there, her subordinates can feel it as well while on the premises. Mercury and Emerald are sscared, Hazel and Watts are intrigued, Tyrians... well, he's still Tyrian, and Salem and Cinder are... slightly aroused?

Watts: "What is this power and how might I harness it?"

Tyrian: "My queen, what is that power... What was that!?"

Salem: "I don't exactly know, Tyrian, I do know that I want it."

Watts: My lady, is there a chance one of your seer Grimms may have been drawn to it and maybe seen whatever it was?"

Salem: "Hmm... there is one in tha- and never mind, it's been destroyed, probably due to whatever that thing is."

Cinder: "Did it sees anything before it was destroyed? Mabye a weapon, a person, anything?"

Shallem: "Let's see shall we? Hmm?"

She summons a Seer Grimm and displayed on it is the image of a young man in black clothing. Before the connected Seer Grimm could see his face however, it was destroyed.

Mercury: "Maybe that guy was fighting it?"

Emerald: "Or maybe... that... thing was him?"

Salem: "Perhaps." The power fades. "It's disappeared. Whatever that was, Cinder, I want you to find while on your next mission to Vale."

Cinder: "And when I do? What then?"

Salem: "Bring it to me. I wish to... thorough inspect this strange source of power."

Ichigo's POV

He shudders.

Ichigo: "I don't know what that was... but I don't like it."

Two Days Later

Currently, Ichigo is trying to find a Dust shop to see if he could use Dust. Ever since he read about it, it sounded interesting to him, so he wanted to know if he could use it. Ichigo spent so much time researching that when he called it quits on the second day, it was already night, which is why our main character is currently trying to find a Dust shop this late. Even if he couldn't buy Dust, that doesn't mean he can't examine it. However, he was having trouble finding any shops open at this hour. He was about to call off his search when he heard an explosion and black smoke in the sky.

Ichigo (thoughts): 'An explosion? I better check this out. People might need help.' He thinks to himself as he heads towards the site.

Ichigo quickly arrives to the scene via Flash Step. He couldn't use his flying because while he was exploring Vale, he noted that there were an exceptional number of cameras pretty much everywhere. If someone bothered to check them and saw someone teleporting and flying, that would cause unwanted attention.

Ichigo lands on a rooftop near where the explosion occurred. He sees a black-haired girl with cat ears and a blonde guy with a tail. They're both fighting someone with orange hair and a cane. He also sees a bunch of people lying on the ground next to the three figures. Ichigo looks closer at one of the people lying there and sees the symbol of the White Fang.

Ichigo (thoughts): 'The White Fang? What are they-" He stops his train of thought when he notices shipping containers with the words 'Schnee Dust' on them. 'Oh, that's why.'

He resumes watching the fight between the two Faunus and the orange haired man, whom Ichigo recognizes as the wanted criminal, Roman Torchwick.

Ichigo: 'Hmm... He's the one stealing Dust all over the place, isn't he? It'd make sense that he's here, but what about the White Fang? Hmm... those Faunus look like they can han-'

Torchwick shoots a shipping crate above them to make it fall. The black haired one expertly back flips and doges it while the blonde one rolls and lands on his stomach. Ichigo sees the blonde turn around and about to be shot by Roman. He puts on his hood to intervene and Flash Steps in front of Roman.

Roman: "What the-"

He doesn't get the chance to finish when Ichigo unleashed one incredibly powered punch to his gut, a punch so hard that it sent him flying towards the shipping containers behind him, leaving a dent. Ichigo turns around to offer his hand to the blonde, but sees two bullheads heading towards his direction, trying to fire at him. Ichigo Flash Steps in front of a building while the blonde got cover behind a contrainer.

Ichigo grabs Zangetsu over his shoulder and unleashes two of his weakest nameless Getsuga's at the ships and they split the bullheads in half. He notices another Bullhead arrive and is about to take a container of Dust, so he Flash Steps above the bullhead while wrapping Zangetsu in the cloth. Ichigo lets gravity do the work and crashes through the glass cockpit, proceeding to beat the shit out of everyone inside. Once he's finished, he kicks open the side door and Flash Steps out before the bullhead crashes and explodes. Ichigo looks around for Roman, but notices bullheads already a long ways away from him.

Ichigo (thoughts): 'Damn, I can't fly or else the two of them will ask questions. You got lucky this time, Torchwick.' He thinks as he's approached by Blake and Sun.

Sun: "Hey, thanks ma-" he's cut off when someone yells.

???: "BLAKE!"

Ichigo turns around and sees a young, silver-eyed girl dressed in a black blouse, a black waist cincher with red lacing and a skirt with red trimmings. She's also got a red cloak with cross-shaped pins holding it to her shirt. Around her waist is a belt which holds large cartridges in individual loops, as well as a magazine pouch. Lastly, she has a silver rose emblem on her belt.

Ichigo (thoughts): 'Hmm... Why do I feel like I've met her before?'

He switches his gaze to the other girl. She has rather curly orange hair that comes down to her chin and a pink bow of the back of her head. She also has bright green eyes, light skin, and freckles. She's wearing a blouse with short feminine overalls, as well as a black and green collar and matching stockings. Ichigo narrows his eyes at her.

Ichigo (thoughts): 'She feels... strange. Even more strange than the 'regular' people in this world.'

Blake: "Ruby!" she says to the girl in red.

Ruby: "Tell me what happened! Who is that guy with the hood? Why is that blonde guy we saw earlier with you? Why are there people unconscious? When did you take your bow off? Why are-"

Blake: "Okay, okay! Calm down and I'll explain everything!"

Blake then proceeds to tell how Sun and her met, why they were here, why this place was a battlefield, everything. While this was happening, Sun and Ichigo were talking.

Sun: "Hey man, thanks for saving me. I'm Sun, a student of Haven. You?"

Ichigo: "Ichigo. Remnant Wanderer." He says as he pulls down his hood.

Sun: "Remnant Wanderer? What does that mean?"

Flashback

One Day Ago

Ichigo was trying to sleep in the abandoned building when something hit him.

Ichigo: "Shit! What's my backstory? I got my powers down, but my backstory? I technically don't exist in this world. Ok, just think."

A Few Hours Later

Ichigo: "Ok, I think I got it. I lived outside of the Kingdoms' protection and I lived in a village called Karakura with my single mother. I learned the basics of my skills from my mom's friend, Kisuke. Kisuke and I made my weapon. The rest I learned by myself. One day, a horde of Grimm appeared and wiped out my village. I was the only survivor. Since then, I have wandered Remnant. A sound-proof backstory. Sweet."

Ichigo left out his father from the story because, well... He just didn't want to explain or talk about how ridiculous his father his.

Back to Present

Ichigo: "It means exactly what it means. I wander Remnant. When I was little, I lived in a village outside of the protection from the Kingdoms and one day, a horde of Grimm attacked and killed everybody. My mother held back the Grimm so that I could escape. She died. I never knew about my father." He said while looking to the ground.

Even if he lied about the whole story, he didn't lie about losing his mother. His mother died protecting him from Grand Fisher. He'll never forget her.

Sun: "Oh. Sorry man... Didn't mean to bring up bad memories." He said with an apologetic face.

Ichigo: "Don't worry, I got over it. So what were you two doing here and who are those two?" he points to Ruby and her friend.

Sun: "Well, we were investigating if the White Fang was stealing Dust. Blake over there didn't want to believe it, so we waited here to see if anyone came to steal it. As you can see, they did. She was just in denial that the White Fang was doing this because she used to be in the organization... Whoops."

Ichigo: "Hey, no worries. I don't judge by race. Continue."

Sun: "Hopefully she won't get mad at me. Oh well. Anyway, that girl with black and red tipped hair is the leader of her team, but I don't know about the other girl." He replied.

Ichigo: "I see."

The girls just finished their conversation when suddenly, Ruby was in front of Ichigo, leaving behind a trail of rose petals. Ichigo had a look of surprise on his face since she was incredibly fast.

Ruby: "Thank you for helping my teammate!" she said as she bowed her head.

Ichigo: "Hey, no problem." He said with a small smile. "You can stop bowing your head. Makes me feel old."

Ruby looks at Ichigo and was about to say something when she suddenly had a look of utter shock. Ichigo looked confused and turns around to find nothing out of the ordinary. Everyone else also had a face of confusion.

Blake: "Ruby. Ruby! RUBY!" Blake tells and Ruby zaps back to life.

Ruby: "Oh my gosh! You look like my uncle! Like a lot! Are-" She got cut off when police cars started arriving.

After explaining everything to them, Ruby was about to approach Ichigo to talk again when all of a sudden, she sees a white haired and a blonde girl rushing towards them.

The white haired girl wear a pale blue bolero jacket over a similarly colored thigh-length dress, with a piece of black lace make up the neckline of the dress. The inside of the bolero is red and sleeves turn blue as they get closer to her wrists. The back displays the Schnee Crest, which bears a resemblance to a snowflake. She wear an apple-shaped necklace along with a pair of thin rectangular earrings. She also wears white, heeled wedge boots that go to her mid-calf; the inside are also lined with red. Her long white hair is pulled back in an off-center ponytail, and the base of which is a small tiara that resembles icicles.

The blonde is wearing a tan vest with gold piping over a yellow low-cut crop top with a black crest that resembles a burning heart. The vest has puffy cap sleeves with black cuffs. She also wears a brown belt with a buckle, a pouch, and a small banner-like object. The same burning heart crest appears on this banner, except golden in color. She wears black shorts under her belt, which resembles a pleated skirt in the back. Over the short shorts, but under the belt, is a white asymmetrical back skirt. She wears brown knee-high platform boots that appear to be made of leather, with orange socks of different lengths. Her left leg also has a gray bandanna-like object wrapped around the top of her boot. On her hands are black fingerless gloves.

Ichigo (thoughts): 'I feel like I've met her before too. Maybe because she reminds me of Rangiku a little?'

Ichigo was about ask if something was wrong, but an officer approaches him.

Officer: "Sir. Someone wants to speak with you. We need to take you back to the station."

Ichigo: "What? Am I getting arrested?" He has a scowl on his face.

Officer: "No, the Headmaster of Beacon wants to meet you and has asked us to take you to him." replied the officer.

Ichigo: "The Headmaster? Why does he want to see me?"

Officer: "He didn't say. All he said was that he wanted to meet you, so he is going to be at the station when we get there."

Ichigo (thoughts): 'Great. Some Headmaster wants to meet me all of a sudden? Might as well get this over with.'

Ichigo: "Alright then, let's go." He says as he gets into the back of the cop car.

At the Police Station

Currently, Ichigo is in an interrogation room. He's waiting for the Headmaster.

Ichigo (thoughts): 'Speak of the devil.' He thinks when the door opens.

Ichigo sees a middle-aged man with tousled gray hair and thin brown eyes. He has a light complexion and sharp facial features. He wears shaded glass spectacles and a dark-green scarf with a small, purple, and cross-shaped emblem on it. His outfit mainly consists of an unzipped black suit over a buttoned vest and green undershirt. He also wears black trouser shoes and long, dark-green pants. He also has a mug with hot chocolate.

But as he enters, Ichigo sees another person, a middle-aged woman that has very light-blonde hair tied back in a bun with a curl hanging down the right side of her face. Her eyes are bright green and she wears thin ovular glasses. She has teal hanging earrings with a small bead identical to her earring on her collar. She wears a white long-sleeved suit that exposes part of her chest and puffy sleeves that tighten near the wrist before spreading back out near her hands. Her lower body has a black business skirt with buttons running in a vertical line up the front of it and lighter black-brown stockings. She wears black boots with brown heels and wears a tattered cape that is purple inside and black on the outside, decorated by a row of diamond-shaped brown beads going horizontally across her cape.

Ichigo (thoughts): 'Huh. Why does she seem familiar?' he asks himself.

The Headmaster takes a seat across from Ichigo and the woman is standing next to him.

Headmaster: "Would you happen to know who I am?"

Ichigo: "I was told the Headmaster of Beacon."

Headmaster: "Quite right. My name is Professor Ozpin. Beside me is Glynda Goodwitch, another teacher at Beacon. And you are?"

Ichigo: "Ichigo Kurosaki."

Glynda (thoughts): 'Hmm... why does that name feel familiar? Probably my imagination, I've met a lot of people, but...'

Ozpin: "And how did you do this?'

He shows a video of Ichigo taking out Roman and the bullhead.

Ichigo: "Mostly self taught. My mom's friend taught me the basics. The rest I learned by myself.' He replies, somewhat telling the truth.

Ozpin: "Hmm... I would also like to know why you aren't in any records. It's like you don't exist."

Ichigo: "Well, I lived outside the Kingdoms most of my life. I lived with a single mother. I never knew my father. She described him as rude, blunt, cynical, sometimes crass, and foul mouthed. She also said he's always drunk. But she also said he was very strong and kind." Ichigo lies.

Ichigo (thoughts): 'I think I better mention one of my parents have red eyes. That would be pretty strange if I had red eyes but neither of my parents did. No one here except for that one woman in the woods had them, so they must be rare.'

Ichigo: "She also said that I got my eyes and black hair from him."

As soon as Ichigo said that, he heard something break. Ichigo looks at the two people and sees complete and utter shock across their faces, so in shock that Ozpin dropped his mug. Ichigo was confused why they had this reaction.

Ichigo (thoughts): 'Did I say something strange? No, I didn't, so why are they like that?' he questions in his head.

In Glynda's Mind

Glynda (thoughts): 'HE HAS A FUCKING CHILD. A FUCKING CHILD! AND HE LEFT HIM TO HIS MOTHER!? I AM GOING TO FUCKING KILL AND CASTRATE HIM WHEN I SEE HIM AGAIN! HE HAS CROSSED THE LINE! DOES HE EVEN FUCKING KNOW!? I DON'T EVEN CARE IF HE KNOWS, I AM STILL GOING TO FUCKING KILL HIM! OH GOOOODDDDDDDD!-'

In Ozpin's Mind

Ozpin (thoughts): 'Oh. He is going to go crazy. Hopefully Glynda doesn't kill him when she sees him. I'll pray for your soul, Qrow.'

Ichigo: "Umm... Hello?" he questions.
