It's been almost two months since I've spoken to Alex. We pass each other on our way to classes but don't say a word to each other,we just take a glance at each other.

Jessie found someone,his name's Daniel,or Danny. They're so happy together,they're one of those couples that you'd see on romance movies. They go on dinner dates together,go on motorcycle rides together,have picnic dates. I wish.

My classes are going well,I'm passing all of them,thankfully. That first assignment in Mr.Adams class was really tough, it was hard to think of who inspired me,but I wrote about Jessie and her bravery,I made a B+,not to bad huh?

Ethan and I began dating shortly after our date night. He made the football team and is now co captain. I tend to cheer him on at every game.I'd say we're happy,despite our mini fights,oh,here's one now;

"Why were you talking to him like that?"Ethan asks grabbing me by the wrist and taking me into an empty corner. "The cashier? I was just saying thank you"I say. "No,you weren't,you were obviously flirting with him"Ethan snapped. "Ethan. No I wasn't"I respond. "Yes you were,I saw you! You were smiling and cracking jokes"Ethan says. "Ethan,that's just who I am I can't help it" I say shrugging my shoulders. "Well you might want to help it,I don't want my girlfriend slutting around with other guys"Ethan says grabbing my chin. "Get off of me,I'll slut around if you don't stop telling me what to do!"I sassed.

"You wouldn't dare"Ethan scoffed. "Try me"I say. "Don't test my patience Beka"Ethan says looking down then looking back up at me. "Or what?what are you going to do Ethan?"I responded,although,I shouldn't of.

Ethan gave me a slap to the cheek,leaving a sting behind. I hold onto my cheek and look at Ethan in the eyes. "I'm sorry Beka ,I didn't- I didn't mean to"Ethan says. "No,it's okay. I shouldn't of talked to that guy like that"I say. "I'm sorry,it's just you made me upset"Ethan admitted. "No it's not your fault it's mine,I'm sorry" I say. "I'll catch you later okay?"I say. Ethan gives me a peck then walks off,I walk the opposite direction and into my dorm.

"Hey Beks"Daniel and Jessie say in sync. "Hey" I say with a gentle tone in my voice. "You okay?"Jessie asks as she sits up on her bed and throws her hair into a messy bun. "Yeah,just tired"I lie. This wasn't the first time Ethan has put his hands on me,and it's not the first time I've lied to Jessie about it,but it's okay,we're working things out.

"Awe well squeeze in here with us"Daniel jokes. "Jessie's bed isn't that big,and you take up more than half of it"I say playfully. "That's good,he keeps me warm"Jessie says with a big smile. "Close your eyes Danny" I informed him so that I can change out of my jeans. "How's Alex?"I asked Jessie as I took off my jeans. "He's hanging in there- hey ,what's that on your thigh?"Jessie asks pointing at a bruise. "Oh,I just bumped into the corner of a table. I wasn't looking where I was going. You know me"I cover up. "Well,I'd hate to be your thigh"Jessie jokes. "Well,good thing you aren't".

"Open"I demanded towards Daniel.

After changing out of my jeans I get into my bed and lay down,staring and admiring Jessie and Daniel as they layed there next to each other watching YouTube videos together. I couldn't help but envy their relationship,I wish I had what they had,they looked in love,even if they never told each other. You can see it.
