《His Red Eyes {SasuNaru}》Chapter 14

My eyes immediately opened after that. I lifted my head and stared at Naruto, who was deep in sleep.
"Uzumaki... It had a nice ring to it. This one doesn't," he murmured so silently, to the point where I could barely hear him.
I stare at him, bewildered. What did I hear? I stay silent, waiting to see if he was going to say anything else in his sleep. Unfortunately, that was it.
I sigh. I keep figuring things out about Naruto indirectly. Why won't he tell me? He should know that I'd do anything for him at this point.
I think back to what I found out earlier today. Most bits were blurry, but I could remember a good portion of them.
Something about appearance, blue eyes, and blonde hair, Naruto also said something that he wasn't telling me about, and now there's the whole fact that Naruto might have changed his name.
I rest my face in my hands, and then there's the off chance that this only just a dream. It doesn't have to be real.
I look over at him. Even if it is a small percentage of a chance, I'll have to be careful and consider it.
So, looking at it, all the answers point to the same conclusion that I've come to, Naruto Namikaze is the last Uzumaki.
<>>
It was currently morning, 10:30 AM, to be exact. Naruto was still sleeping. I was still sitting in the chair next to him.
I decided against confronting him. This idea of mine is better to keep secret until I can confirm it.
And it doesn't help that I have a crush on him makes it ten times worse. For now, I think it's best I keep these feelings at bay.
As much as I want to do something with these feelings, it's stupid to have them for the person who's betraying you, if he is, I mean.
I hear him getting up from the bed. I glance over to him to see Naruto rubbing his eyes. "What year is it?" he asks me in a tired voice.
"Sunday," I reply sarcastically with no hesitation. "Now get up. You can leave the hospital if you want to,"
He nodded and got up. I didn't notice that he was wearing a hospital gown. "Where are my normal clothes?" he asked,

I stopped staring at the hospital gown that seemed, amazing on him like everything else he wore and looked at him.
"Oh yeah, the clothes I gave you were stained with blood and had a bunch of rips and tears, so I went out today and bought you some more," I explained, handing over a bag of clothes to him.
He looked at me bewildered, "How am I supposed to pay you back! Sasuke, you don't have to keep buying me clothes!" Naruto exclaimed.
I smile at his thoughtfulness. I ruffle his hair with my hand, "Relax, you don't have to pay me back," I tell him.
He looked up at me after ruffled his hair, with a pout, "But then I'm going to feel bad. Can't I pay you back in another way then?" he asked.
I smirk, "You'll pay me back when the time comes," He gives me a confused look, "What do you mean?"
"You'll see," I said as I walked to the door, "Finish changing and come outside," I tell him, looking back at him.
He nods, and I leave the room, closing the door behind me and stand outside the door. I already signed him out of the hospital, so that was over and done with,
There were also multiple missed calls from the same person after finding him in the alley last night. I should probably keep that in mind just in case.
I hear the door open, and I see Naruto walk out of the door. His face was slightly red. He wore a gray hoodie with sleeves that were too long for his arms. He also wore sweatpants that were a bit baggier than they should be.
"You got the wrong sizes," he muttered. I raise an eyebrow at him, "We can go shopping again if you want, we can even-"
"NO, NO, NO!" he yelled, waving his arms around. "I can't accept anything more!" he exclaimed.
I smile, "I told you it's fine," I say, taking one of his shoulders and leading him to the elevators so we could leave.
"Hey Sasuke, before I forget, where's my phone?" he asked, "Oh yeah," I reached for his phone in my pocket and handed it to him.

"You got a ton of missed called from someone," I inform him. Naruto nods and opens the phone.
It read 47 missed calls from 'Pervy Old Man' I don't know who that is, but the name was very misleading.
He had a hand go to the side of his head out of distress, and his eyes went wide. "Are you kidding me? He's going to kill me," he groaned quietly.
I didn't question it. Even if it sounds like Naruto was talking to a pedo, he can be an idiot and make things sound more wrong than what they are.
"I'm going to have to get the stains out of my shirt this time too, fuck," Bitch what?
"Naruto," he looked over at me to see a death glare on my face, "You have five seconds to fucking explain why you're in contact with a pedo,"
He started panicking, "NO WAIT LET ME EXPLAIN! THAT'S MY DAD, AND HE'S A PERV!" he shouted,
"And the other bit?" "We ended up throwing food at each other last time I missed this many calls from him," he explained,
"Jeez, don't say things like that out of context. It sounds so wrong," I tell Naruto, lightly punching him in the arm.
He rubs his arm from my punch, "Okay, okay," we arrived at the elevators and walked into one that just came to our floor.
I pressed the lobby button and waited for us to reach the floor. I felt the elevator rumble as we went down.
When we reached, we walked out the big sliding doors and walked to my car, parked in the back of the parking lot.
I open the door. I get into the driver's seat, and Naruto sat in the other seat. I start driving to his house.
Naruto was surprisingly quiet this trip. I didn't bother saying anything, I'm no good with conversations, and I'll make this situation worse than it is already.
The trip seems to take forever, but we finally reached Naruto's house. I parked in front of the apartment, and we got out.
I looked over at Naruto, and he seemed very tense, "Y-You don't have to come in, you know," he told me.
I give him a confused look, "Why not? I've come here before,"
He laughs nervously, "I suppose you're right," he said, making his way to the stairs that led to the second floor.
We reached his door, and instead of unlocking the door like last time, he knocked and then proceeded to cover his ears.
I was confused but ignored it. In a split second, the door was wide open, and a middle-aged man with long white hair was standing in front of us.
"WHAT THE HELL, NARUTO? YOU DON'T DO THAT TO ME," he yelled, Naruto who had his ears covered, removed them, "Um, sorry?" he said sheepishly.
The man face-palmed himself, "Are you kidding me? I thought you-" he then realized that I was there.
"Sasuke, right?" he asked, pointing at me. I nodded. "I'm Naruto's father. I've heard a lot about you. You seem to be all that Naruto talk about-"
Naruto, whose face was bright red, covered his mouth with both hands and started shouting at him, "DON'T SAY THAT, IT SOUNDS SO WRONG!"
I wasn't paying that much attention anymore. My mind was more focused on the fact that Naruto talks about me a lot to other people.
He slapped Naruto's hand off his mouth, "Okay, okay kid," He looked over at me, "Would you like to come in?" he asked me,
I snapped out of my thoughts, "Yes, thank you," I replied. The man walked into the house and motioned for Naruto and me to follow him.
We get inside and remove our shoes and follow him into the living room. We see him making tea in the kitchen, and he asked me to go to Naruto's room while he and Naruto talked.
I agreed and walked over to his room, closing the door behind me. The room wasn't any different than last time. I hear footsteps on the other side of the door.
I looked at the door and walked up to it. I placed my ear against the door, trying to eavesdrop on the conversation.
"This was a huge gamble. You know that, right?"
A/N For my other two stories, I wrote out the plan before writing them, I'm literally just winging this one
