"Of course I knew it was a gamble," Naruto answered as if he were stating the obvious, "He didn't agree with me coming here by myself,"

I heard his father sigh deeply, "He seemed the type. Anyways, are you okay after the emergency signal you sent me last night? You carried the knife as I told you to, right?"

"Yup," Naruto responded, "I've always been carrying it around. It's helped for the past three times," he told him, revealing the knife out of his pocket that he still somehow had after getting released from the hospital.

"3!? Naruto, you're okay, right? This is happening one too many times," his fathers said in a concerned voice. "I'm fine, trust me," Naruto reassured him, trying to calm him.

"The other two were just trying to get money, and the guy last night threatened me with information that he knew about me but wouldn't tell anyone if I gave him a good time," Naruto said calmly,

"Dammit, Naruto, how do you keep getting in these situations? Stay with a friend while I'm not at home, okay?" I heard his father ask him in a kind and caring voice.

"Okay, but I doubt I'll find someone willing to," he responded.

I removed my ear from the dark brown door and looked through the small keyhole instead, so I could see what they were doing behind the door.

I see them standing across each other, both of them holding their white cups filled with tea. Naruto leaned against the couch while his father stood next to the counter.

"Just try, okay?" his father implored. Naruto nodded. "Also, what information did the guy who tried to take advantage of you threaten you with?"

Naruto placed a finger on his forehead, "What my last name at birth was," he responded.

His father facepalmed himself, "I thought we kept it secret,"

"The murderer and lawyer forgot most of the important stuff, but Sasuke's a smart one and probably already figured it out,"

His father sighed, "What can we do about it anyway?" he asked, shrugging, "Just have to pray that he doesn't tell a soul,"

Naruto shrugged and took a sip of his tea, "We just have hope," it stayed silent for a while before Naruto mentioned something else.

"Also, how long do I have to refer to you as 'dad'? It sounds so unnatural," He said with a bored expression on his face.

His father shrugged, "Depends," he stated, blowing on his tea before taking a small sip.

Naruto took a final sip of his tea before handing the cup back to his father, "I'll make him leave. We have a lot of stuff to do today,"

His father nodded and took the cup back to the sink to rinse it. While Naruto started walking to his room.

In a panic, I jumped on Naruto's bed and pretended he was looking outside the window. I heard the door open, and I turned around to see Naruto standing at the door.

"Hey, Sasuke," he greeted me, with a huge smile on his face. I smiled at him, "So bad news," he said, making his way into the room.

"I kind of need to kick you out. My dad and I have to do something today. Since, you know, he's back for, like, four days, and he wants to spend them together."

I nodded and got up from the bed. Naruto rubbed the back of his neck, "Sorry about that," he apologized.

"It's fine," I told him, "I understand. My mom wants me to do things like that too," I explained.

He nodded and grasped my hand, leading me out of the apartment in sort of a rush. He specifically speeded up past the kitchen where his father was. He muttered something about how embarrassing he was.

I chuckled to myself as he finally led me to the front door. He opened the door for me and let go of my hand as I put on my shoes.

After putting my shoes on, I got up to see Naruto leaning against the open door. I walk out the door, stop on the front step and turn to face Naruto.

"I know this was wrong, but I heard a bit of your conversation," I told him. Naruto's eyes went wide, "How much did you hear?" he asked nervously.

I thought for a second, "Just the part where your dad asked you to find a roommate," I explained. Naruto calmed down, "You know I can stay with you if you want," I told him.

He beamed at me, "Really, Sasuke!? This saves me so much trouble!" he exclaimed. I nodded. Naruto let go of the door to hug me. His arms around my torso, I hugged him back.

He let go of me and took a step back, "Well, I'll see you at school tomorrow, Sasuke," Naruto said, smiling. I smiled back at him, "See you later," I said.

I took a couple of steps towards the stairs before feeling a surge of confidence flow through my veins.

I didn't know what I was thinking, but I turned around and walked back to Naruto's apartment.

When I came back, Naruto was confused, "What are you doing back-" I cut him off by pulling him from the back of his neck closer to my face.

Our faces were so close, to the point where our lips were brushing against each other. "S-Sasuke, what are you-" "If you want to, back out now," I demand, cutting Naruto off.

He didn't say anything. He stared into my eyes as I stared back into his. I waited a couple of seconds, to see if he would back out of this.

It was what I expected. I wanted Naruto to back out. I needed him to back out. Both of our plans would be foiled if this happened between us.

With Naruto trying to keep secrets from me, getting closer to me would not help him whatsoever.

I was trying to find the last Uzumaki, and this would distract me from my goal. That is, only if he wasn't the last, Uzumaki.

It had been a minute, and he hadn't backed out. Naruto's face was turning a deeper shade of scarlet by the second.

He hadn't backed out yet, my grip on Naruto's neck slightly tightened, "Last chance to back out," I warn him one last time.

Despite his face being as red as a tomato, he moved in a bit closer so that not only were our lips brushing against each other, but our foreheads were resting against the others.

I took that as a signal, and I leaned in closer to him, making our lips press against each other, leading to a kiss being shared between the both of us.

The kiss was short and sweet. Naruto's lips were as soft as they looked. During the kiss, I felt his left hand interlock with my right hand.

I tightened the grip on his hand. As I pulled away from the kiss. Looking at his face, he was clearly embarrassed.

I had to admit, that was cute. I felt Naruto squeeze my hand. He was overwhelming with cuteness.

I smile softly. I reached for Naruto's face with my free hand and made Naruto look me directly in the eye.

His face was at its limit on how dark a shade of red it could turn. I guess he couldn't face me from all the embarrassment, so he shut his eyes.

I quietly laugh at him and lean forward to place a light kiss on his temple, "I'll see you tomorrow, Naru," I say, charmingly. I pat his head and walk away, with my hands in my pockets.

Walking away, I realized what I did. My face began to heat up as my mind began to process what I did.

"What the fuck did I do..." I whispered under my breath. After getting into the driver's seat of the car, I rested my head on the steering wheel.

My face was as bright as Naruto's face was, back after the kiss. When we get back to school, it won't be the same for some time, and it'll be so much more awkward than it ever was before.

I didn't need it to be told to me anyway. I realized that day, that school and my relationship with Naruto Namikaze, or should I say, Naruto Uzumaki, will never be the same after today.

A/N I finished this one really quick surprisingly. Also I have a spanish project to finish by tomorrow but I'm just not gonna do it.
