They walked in with my father and his face was all bruised up causing me to stand up.
"WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED TO HIS FACE". I yelled standing up.
"Sit down ma'am". An officer said looking over at me.
"Sit down mama". Krew said grabbing my arm trying to pull me down.
"I'm not sitting nowhere why the fuck does his face look like that". I ask with my face scrunched up.
"Ma'am I'm going to ask you to have a seat one more time or we will have to remove you". An officer said and I smacked my lips.
I watched as my father sat there looking back at me from time to time with a sad expression.
"His handprints were all over her body and not only that but he confessed to the murder". The deceased women's lawyer said.
"Bullshit". I mumble under my breath.
" I sentence him to life without parole". The judge said and I couldn't help but cry.
My father looked back at me with tears in his eyes before he started crying himself. He tried to come towards me but they roughly grabbed him up.
"DON'T FUCKING TOUCH HIM LIKE THAT". I yell trying to go inside of the little gate the have blocking us.
I feel someone grab me causing me to fight against them.
"Chill out". The person said and I knew it was Krew.
"HOW THE FUCK AM I SUPPOSED TO CALM DOWN LOOK HOW THEY GRABBING HIM". I said using all my force to push him back.
I got around the gate and the officer that had his arm around my fathers neck I grabbed his arm trying to unwrap it.
"Get her out of here". I heard the judge say and I was roughly grabbed up but al least his arm was from around my fathers neck.

"Fuck man". Krew said following behind us as they lead me out of the court room.
"You're getting put in an holding cell till tomorrow". A female officer said placing me in the back of her car before closing the door.
Pulling up outside of the station she helps me out and leads me inside. They take my finger print and picture before leading me to the back.
Walking in they close the door and then take my cuffs off. I go and take a seat looking around at all the people that was here.
Walking out I see Krew standing in the front with his back facing me.
"Thanks for coming to get me". I said causing him to turn around.
He started walking out of the station with me following behind him. Getting in the car he started it up before pulling off.
"So you ignoring me now". I ask looking over at him.
"That shit you did yesterday was dangerous Sariah". He said with a mug on his face.
"So what I was just supposed to let them handle my father like that". I ask with my face scrunched up.
"No but you could've gotten yourself killed if the wrong officers were in there". He said and I sigh because he was right.
"You're right but my first instinct was to protect my father I've been doing it since I was a child everybody tries to run over him because he doesn't know any better". I said looking out the window as he drove.
I guess we were at his house because I didn't know who's driveway we pulled into.
"Who's house is this". I ask as we get out of the car.
"This my homeboy Vincent house". He said as we walk to the door and he just walks in so I follow behind him.

"Hey man did you go pick up ole girl". I'm guessing Vincent said.
"You don't see her standing right here". He asked him causing me to laugh.
"Man when I looked that way she wasn't standing there but hey how you doing my name is Vincent". He said nodding his head towards me as he played the game.
"Nice to meet you I'm Sariah". I said giving him a small smile taking a seat beside Krew on the couch.
"Where your girl at". Krew asked him as I just stared at the tv.
"She upstairs with her friends sound like they coming down now". He said and looked over at the stairs and I did the same before rolling my eyes.
"Not this shit". I mumble to myself.
"Why you got this bitch here". One of the girls said and I looked to see the girl that's always on Krew.
"First off this my shit and you ain't my bitch so don't question me about a got damn thang I got going on over here". He said passing the game and mugging her.
"Baby you got a problem with her being here". He said this pretty dark skin girl.
"No why would I and hey my name is Kamela". She said waving at me with a sincere smile.
"Hey my name is Sariah". I said waving back at her with a smile.
"So where's you retarded ass daddy". The girl said causing Vincent and Krew to shake their heads.
"I'm going through a lot of shit right now and I don't feel like fighting so can you take me home". I said standing up.
"It was nice to meet y'all". I said before walking away.
"Why the hell would you say that". I heard Kamela ask as I walked out of the house and got in the car.
Krew got in and pulled off without saying anything.
Unbuckling my seat belt I turn to look at him.
"Thanks for everything". I said opening the door to get out.
"It was no problem give me a call later alright". He said and I nodded getting out and walking inside.
Closing the door I walk over and plop down on the couch.
Could this shit get any worse...

I'm Always Talking to Myself
My name is Zach. I’m a typical bland featureless protagonist type. The kind of guy who has purposefully few defining characteristics so that people can project whatever they want on me. Like Luke from Star Wars or what’s her name from Twilight. Most main characters are like me. Kind of flavorless blank slates because we all secretly doubt that we’re Harrison Ford, but pretty much anyone could be Mitt Romney. Yep. Yes indeed, I do spend basically my entire life running an internal dialog to no one. Usually I’m imagining that there are people listening. Like maybe philosophers from Ancient Greece, or researchers from another planet who act suspiciously like the characters from that Instagram comic with the aliens. Stupid Instagram comedians stealing my internal monologue and turning into a wildly successful enterprise which I would imagine has a vibrant merch dropshipping arm and hundreds of thousands of daily dopamine hits for loyal followers. I basically spend all of my time explaining random things to imaginary people (and aliens, and animals, and household items which have inexplicably gained sentience and frankly have some concerns about this whole existence thing). Honestly, it’s both highly entertaining to me, in that it makes me think about why we humans do all of the bizarre things that we do, but also horrifically exhausting and kind of makes you feel like you’re either, worst cast, losing your grip on reality, or best case, becoming Abed from Community. Anyway, I’m sure that I have some distinguishing characteristics, but, in the interest of hypnotic suggestion I’m choosing to omit them until I’m pretty sure that you have subconsciously come to identify with me, or until I feel like it. (By the way, in case I forgot to mention it, a higher power called Aww Thor or something told me to say that this is a slice-of-life comedy adventure and that it's set in a fantasy world with isekai and LitRPG elements.)
