"Ayo East, where the weed at?" Zander asked as he walked outside.
"The party ain't even started yet, and you already trying to get lit."
Zander is a party animal. We all like to turn up, but Zander is the type to turn up every night. Damn near every club owner in LA knows him by name.
"Hell yeah, you already know nigga. This is the pre-game" Zander said as I shook my head.
"The weed is in my room. Don't be greedy either nigga. I know how you get."
Zander laughed then walked off to my room.
"I like this property so much better than the penthouse. You should live here full time" Lola said as she approached me.
"It's too big for one person. I prefer my penthouse."
I own two properties and a few convenience stores. I'm not the richest nigga but I'm comfortable.
"It'll be big enough for us and our baby" Lola said.
I knitted my eyebrows, "huh?"
Lola laughed, "I'm just joking silly."
I briefly closed my eyes then let out a sigh of relief.
I always use protection with Lola, but I also know that condoms break. I like kids and all, but I'm not ready to have any right now. Especially not with Lola.
"You need to chill. I almost had a heart attack."
"Damn, having a baby with me sounds that bad?" Lola asked.
"I don't want kids right now."
"Hmm" Lola said.
I just ignored her then sat down in a lounge chair.
"GOD DAMN" Zander shouted out of nowhere.
We all turned to see what he was looking at. It was the girls from the club. They both had on bikinis that exposed their curves. They had all the thirsty niggas drooling.
"Hey fellas" one of the girls said.
"Wassup Kelis" Kareem said as he bit his lip.

Kareem has been talking about this girl ever since we left the club that night. He's on some love at first sight type shit.
"Damn, y'all look good as fuck" Zander said.
"Thank you" they both said.
"Nah, I should be saying thank you to y'all. Y'all blessed the fuck out my eyes" Zander said.
This nigga Zander is mad corny.
"That was cute. A little corny but cute" Kelis said as everybody laughed.
"Uh, where's the bathroom?" Gen asked.
I stood up, "I'll show you."
Gen nodded then followed me into the house.
Somebody was using the bathroom downstairs, so I led her upstairs. I usually don't let anybody upstairs, but I didn't want ole girl to pee on herself.
"Thank you" Gen said as we approached the bathroom.
I nodded my head then walked back downstairs.
"Who was that girl you went upstairs with?" Lola asked as she folded her arms.
"What? You better chill out Lo."
Here comes the bullshit.
"You really fucked another bitch while I was here? Wow East" Lola said.
"The fuck are you talking about? I was showing her to the bathroom. You buggin' right now."
"Oh, my bad then" Lola said.
I shook my head then walked away from her.
When I walked back outside I couldn't find Kelis. My eyes roamed the backyard until they landed on East.
There was a beautiful, model type girl sitting on his lap. She looked up at me then whispered something in East's ear. He looked at me, and I quickly looked away. That shit was SUPER awkward.
"I got us some drinks" Kelis said as she approached me with two cups.
"I was looking for you. You know I have anxiety."
Kelis laughed, "my bad sis."
She handed me a cup then started downing her drink.
"I think I want to fuck Kareem" Kelis randomly blurted out.

I spit my drink out then laughed.
"Girl I- what? That was so random."
"He's just so charming, and he definitely gives me big dick energy" Kelis said.
Kelis is a very outspoken person. She has no filter, and she doesn't give a damn what people think about her. That's one of the many things that I love about her.
"Oh lord, please don't get pregnant sis."
Kelis laughed, "never that. Kaiser is my one and only baby."
"Mhm, you say that now."
"I'm serious Gen. I'll think about having my own kids when I turn thirty five" Kelis said as I laughed.
"Hey ladies" Sammy said as she approached us.
"Look who's outside" I said as I hugged Sammy.
"Girl, I'm always outside" Sammy said.
Kelis laughed, "yeah right bitch."
"Forget y'all" Sammy said as we laughed.
"AYO KELIS" Kareem shouted as he waved us over.
"Come meet my new future boo" Kelis said as she grabbed Sammy's hand.
"I'm gonna stay right here. That girl was giving me funny looks earlier."
"Yeah, that's Lola. She thinks she's better than every female she comes across. She's a Regina George type of chick" Sammy said.
"Eww" Kelis said as she scrunched up her face.
"Don't worry about her though. I may live in Beverly Hills now, but that Crenshaw will come out REAL quick" Sammy said.
"Period pooh! Now let's go" Kelis said.
Lola looked us up and down as we approached Kareem and the rest of the crew.
"Kareem, you just love hoodrats don't you?" Lola asked as she looked back at Kareem.
"This hoodrat will beat yo ass, so tread lightly hoe" Kelis said.
"And if one fights we all fight" Sammy added.
Lola rolled her eyes then walked away.
"Messy ass bitch. I don't even know why you invited her East. My apologies ladies" Zander said.
East's silence spoke volumes. Lola obviously isn't that important to him if he let Sammy, Kelis, and his homeboys talk crazy to her. I would be embarrassed. If I'm fucking with a nigga then I need him to ride for me at all times.
"Y'all can sit down. Don't be shy" Kareem said as he smirked.
"Lil mama with the face tatt can come sit by me" Zander said.
Sammy immediately started blushing.
Everybody was flirting and laughing while I just sat there awkwardly. I was definitely feeling like a third wheel.
"You smoke?" East asked.
I looked at East to see if he was talking to me.
"Uh, you talking to me?"
"Nah, I'm talking to Casper" East said in a sarcastic tone.
I've had it up to here with his rude fine ass.
"Don't get cute."
"What?" East asked as he looked at me with the meanest mug ever.
I was a little scared, but I didn't back down.
I looked him dead in his eyes then smirked.
"I said, DON'T. GET. CUTE" I repeated.
East shook his head then passed me the blunt.
Weirdo ass.
"How's lil man doing?" East asked as I hit the blunt.
"He's good" I said as East nodded.
Within minutes I was feeling the euphoric effects from the weed. My eyes were low, and I felt like I was floating.
"Did you get my good sis high?" Kelis asked as she approached East and I.
"I'm high as fuck bitch. That weed was some next level shit."
East laughed a little then passed the blunt back over to me. I was already high as fuck, but I didn't want to look like a rookie.
East and I ended up smoking two blunts together. We didn't really say anything to each other, but it was still a vibe. I felt a little less lonely.

The Ascendant: Endless Reincarnation
My name is Richard Brooks. I died while saving a kid. Kicking the bucket at 28 was really depressing, you know? There’s so much I still wanted to do. But instead of passing on, I was thrust into an endless series of reincarnations. Whenever I die, I earn Karma points based on my achievements and growth. These points can be exchanged for weapons, spells, or other bonuses to make my next lives more interesting. “What kills me only makes me stronger!” Or something like that. Honestly, it feels like I’m stuck in an RPG. The difficulty setting can be pretty ridiculous too. Sometimes all I can do is grit my teeth in frustration as I die an ignoble death. But I won’t complain. Even when it’s dangerous and painful, I love life. This is all an opportunity; I’ll do my best, no matter what kind of sadistic fate the System throws at me. I will swing the warhammer of justice! Craft and enhance the most amazing artifacts! Overwhelm opponents with a barrage of auto-casting spells! Lead powerful vassals in Domain wars! All for the sake of creating an eternal sanctuary. With my unique power of Runecrafting, maybe I’ll even become strong enough one day to overturn fate… or at least find out what the hell is really going on. It might take a few hundred or a thousand lifetimes, but what’s the rush? I have all the time in the world now. (Note: R15+ This is the work of a very inexperienced author with a full time job. Please expect an erratic release schedule.)

Until You Do It Right
The world ended on December thirty-first of the year two thousand and twenty, precisely at the stroke of midnight. The human race began to be systematically exterminated by the spawn of the System. We were given a chance to defeat them, to take back our place at the top of the food chain. We failed. The first to perish were those who bravely rebelled. The soldiers. The defenders. One by one, they fell. In their final moments, they begged for aid. Nobody replied. The next to succumb were those who feebly cowered. The deniers. The leeches. Together, they fell. In their final moments, they cried out into the darkness. Countless voices replied in kind. The last to decline were those who shamelessly ran. The deserters. The cowardly. Alone, they fell. In their final moments, they whimpered quietly. There was nobody left to answer. The final human to die was a survivor. A runner. As he died, he begged for salvation. His prayers were answered. He was offered a chance to save himself, along with all of humanity, and he took it. This is his story. “I sat in the dark and thought: There’s no big apocalypse. Just an endless procession of little ones.”― Neil Gaiman, Signal to Noise. I am absolutely new to writing and will take any and all constructive criticism. Please give feedback, it is greatly appreciated. I will update the tags as they change, and I hope that you enjoy this little story I'm writing! Quick warning: Seamus is intentionally a flawed character, and this story is going to explore those flaws and perhaps even change a few of them. I do not agree with all of his actions, but it is what it is.

Hello ladies and gentlemen! Welcome to my first attempt at writing a novel. I am preparing to participate in the 2017 NaNoWriMo event so enjoy the first chapter as that's here early only to ensure that I have a place to post once the event starts. This means the first novel/book will have a target of 50,000 words. I'm excited to attempt this challenge despite the hurdles I will have to overcome. I do have a demanding full time job so planning time to write and make weekly releases starting in November will be my biggest challenge. Also, please accept my apologies on my cover. I'm not an artist and the only digital tool available at my disposal is the stock microsoft paint. So I did my best to create a decent cover as I did not want to steal the work of another. If there are those interested by the end of November in donating a new fan made cover then I will look into replacing the old cover.
