Oh good lordy. I'm tired lol.
And that awkward moment when you see your cheating ex at a volleyball game.
But who the hell cares because to be honest, I looked fucking hot XD.
And he was really surprised to see me and he wouldn't stop staring at me. So I think it was a good night for me MUHAHAHAHA XD
Anywhore. On with the book!

River
After I dropped Jack off at her work, I rushed home.
"Dad!" I yelled as I ran in the pack house.
"What's wrong?" My dad asked as he walked out of the kitchen with my mom.
"What's wrong man?" Nolan asked.
"Has any of our members gotten hurt? Like so bad it's critical?" I asked.
What if Jack is fixing up a rogue?
'That little fucker better not touch her!' Leo growled.
"No." My dad said shaking his head. "Why?"
"Jack is at the clinic right now giving a wolf surgery." I mumbled.
My mom gasped. "Do you think it could be a rogue?"
"What if it's a regular wolf?" Cooper said.
Julia rolled her eyes and smacked the back of his head. "There are no wolves around her dumbass."
Nolan snickered and pecked her cheek.
"Damn woman." Cooper mumbled rubbing the back of his head. "It was just a question."
"She is fixing up a rogue right now." I growled. "They better not touch her."
'Hank!' I linked him.
'Yes alpha?' Hank asked right away.
'You need to go to Jack's work and check on her. She is fixing up a rogue. Find him and make sure she is safe.'
'Yes alpha.' He said determined as he cut the link.
"Let's talk in my office." I said as everyone else nodded.
The past couple of hours we have been going over maps of the area and possible hideouts for rogues.
Also mixing up patrol routes just in case. If rogues decided to make an appearance, I want to be ready.
'Alpha!' Hank yelled.
I jumped which caused me to drop the map and get weird looks from everyone else.
'What did you find?' I asked Hank.
'The rogue. I found him leaving the area around the clinic.' Hank growled in disgust.
'Bring him to the cellar. I will be there shortly.' I said pissed.

'Yes alpha.'
"River?" My mom asked.
"Hank found the rogue." I mumbled.
My dad growled slightly. "Let's go talk to him."
I nodded and got up.
My dad, Nolan, Cooper, and I all walked to the cellar.
"Careful." My mom mumbled as Julia nodded.
We nodded back and walked down.
"Alpha." The two guards said monotone as they nodded their heads in respect.
"Did Hank bring the rogue?" I asked.
"Yes he did alpha. He just got here." The guard on the left said.
"Thank you." I nodded as I walked past them.
"Alpha." Hank said as he bowed in respect.
"Thank you for bringing him here." I said as I stared at the rogue.
The rogue looked up at me and rolled his eyes.
"Please get him some shorts." I mumbled as I looked away.
Not even a second later, Hank came back with some shorts.
"Thanks." The rogue mumbled as he slid them on.
"Now." I said as I stepped in front of his cell. "Why the hell were you on my land?"
"Having fun." The rogue smirked as he leaned me back. "Got in a fight. Had some extremely hot chick sew me up."
I let out a small growl.
"Soft blonde hair and had the most incredible eyes. One blue and one green." The rogue growled as he licked his lips.
'That's it!' Leo growled before he took control.
~*~
Leo
That fucking did it.
The way this worthless piece of shit talked about my mate.
My goddess of a mate.
"Listen here you fucking little mutt!" I growled shocking everyone. "You fucking touch one little hair on her head and I will personally rip you to shreds!"
"Aww." The rogue cooed. "Is the little alpha upset?"
I growled loudly and ripped the cell door off.
The silver bars didn't even affect me.
But I'm glad that it was me and not River.
They would for sure have hurt River's hand.
I marched right up to the piece of shit and grabbed him by the throat.
"Let me make myself loud and clear." I growled as the rogue clawed at my hand trying to get air. "You touch her and you will regret the day you were born. I will personally kill you and enjoy every fucking second of it. So I suggest that you leave her the fuck alone or else something will happen."

I dropped the rogue and he was gasping for air as he nodded.
"Pathetic." I spat as he walked out of the cell.
"You need to calm down." River's dad said worried. "Come on Leo. You can't walk through the pack house like this. There are children."
"I know that." I growled as I narrowed my eyes at him. "Why the hell would you think that I would hurt someone?"
'Hey!' River yelled at him. 'Please be nice to my dad.'
"Alpha!" A guard yelled as he ran in.
"What?" I growled.
I mentally smirked as he saw it was me and not River.
Scaring people is really fun.
"R-Rogues are at t-the territory line a-alpha." The guard stuttered.
I growled and stomped up the stairs and out of the cellar.
Who the fuck do these rogues think they are. Coming close to my land.
"What do they want?" I asked the guard.
"Something about an ancient healer." The guard said. "They keep saying that you have him and want him."
"Who's 'he'?" I asked.
'Let me have control back so you don't scare the guy to death.' River grumbled.
'Fine.' I said.
Damn River. Ruining all my fun.
~*~
River
The guard let out a small sigh of relief when he saw that I was back in control.
Poor guy.
"Now what is this about an ancient healer?" I asked confused.
"Oh them. I remember them." Elder Edgar smiled. "Those were the days. Healers were everywhere."
"What is an ancient healer?" My dad asked.
"They are special people. They have the ability to heal anyone." Elder Edgar explained. "They were everywhere. That was until the rogues go to them."
"What do you mean?" I asked.
"Ancient healers have a very distinct marking. But because we haven't seen one in awhile, no one remembers what that marking is." Elder Edgar stated. "But when healers were very common around the world, the rogues would capture them. Use them to heal all their injured wolves. Then when the healers were no use to them anymore, they would kill them. Then they would go out and find a new healer."
"So do these ancient healers know about the supernatural world?" Nolan asked.
Elder Edgar nodded his head. "Healers were created to help the good guys. They knew of all the supernatural creatures. When healers accept their power and begin practicing with it, they can even sense good vs. evil."
"How?" I asked amazed.
Damn. That is pretty cool.
"I don't really know." Elder Edgar said softly. "My friend from way back talked about it. He was a healer until he got killed by rogues. He said something about it was a gut feeling. They would get a warm feeling if the person was good. But a feeling of dread if the person was bad. But that's only when they accept their power and begin to practice it."
"Do you think these healers are still around?" I asked.
He nodded with a smile. "Oh I know they are alpha. They got to be. The rogues did a toll on the population of them, but they didn't quite make them extinct. Some healers survived rogue attacks. So they might be hidden and not use their powers as much."
"These markings." Cooper said thinking. "What type of marking could it be?"
"I honestly do not know." Elder Edgar said with a sigh. "A healer hasn't been spotted in so long since they found out what the rogues do, that no one remembers. It could be anything really. A marking on their skin, their hair color, the way they are built. No one knows."
"Well if the rogues are asking for this healer guy, he must be pretty close." I said.
My dad nodded. "We have to find him. Let him know that there are rogues after him."
"That's a good idea." Nolan said.
I sighed.
Great. Just what I needed.
Help save a healer from rogues and also save my beautiful mate from rogues.
'But mate comes first.' Leo growled.
I nodded. 'Most definitely. Jack is always our number one priority.'
'Can we go see her?' Leo asked hopefully.
'Oh thank the Lord that you want to see her too.' I laughed.
'Duh!' Leo chuckled.
'Let's go see her!' I smiled.
'Tally ho!' Leo yelled.
Damn I have a strange wolf.

Sod's Law (Dropped)
This fiction has been dropped, you're more than welcome to read it anyway (there is sort of an ending). But you have been warned... Sod's law is a more extreme version of Murphy's law. While Murphy's law says that anything that can go wrong, will go wrong (eventually), Sod's law requires that it always goes wrong with the worst possible outcome. For example, concepts such as "bad fortune will be tailored to the individual" and "good fortune will occur in spite of the individual's actions" are sometimes given as examples of Sod's law in action. This would broaden Sod's law to a general sense of being "mocked by fate". In these aspects it is similar to some definitions of irony, particularly the irony of fate. - Definitions of Sod's Law on Wikipedia. The protagonist, as many before them, and many who followed, thought they were just entering a VRMMORPG (Virtual Reality Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing-Game). Unbeknownst to them however, was a short paragraph in the Terms & Conditions, that, upon agreement, would actually transport them to a fantasy world, loosely based on the game they thought they were entering. - Something anyone could be forgiven for, no-one reads them after all. In this new world, they discover that people are born with “Traits”, a System recognised, ability, skill, or talent, that they are born with. Sod's Law was not a trait they, or anyone else for that matter, would want. Pure madness follows. Yup, this is about a character transferred to a fantasy game-world with the worst luck imaginable. This is my first fiction so I apologise for any grammar and spelling mistakes that may be made. Hopefully it is readable, and if so please tell me! But if it's not, also tell me, but in a constructive way if at all possible? Due to the nature of the “Trait” the story will be dark in places, with plenty of gore and profanity, hence the tags. There may also be scenes of a sexual nature, but nothing full on – sorry guys but you'll have to go elsewhere for that.
