This takes place about three months after Lane.

Kara hears a knock at her door. She x-rays and sees a guy she's never seen before. She ponders, Though, something seems familiar about him...

She goes to the door and opens it, giving him a quizzical look. "Can I help you?" She asks in an inquiring tone.

"You're Kara Danvers, right?" the man asks.

"The one and only, yes." She raises an eyebrow. How does he know who I am?

"Damn, still as beautiful as ever." He gives her a smirk.

Her eyes widened at him. "Mike?"

"The one and only."

She scowls and crosses her arms. "Why are you here?"

"Why haven't you invited me in yet?"

"Because I didn't know who you were. And now that I do, I'm starting to have thoughts about shutting you out again."

"Look, Kara, I need your help. Please. You're one of the only people I could find. I knew if I went to Alex, she'd beat me up. And if it was James, he might've done that, too. And Winn-"

"Fine, fine." She steps aside and lets him in. She closes the door behind her and turns to face him. "What do you need my help with?"

"My adoptive parents told me that I wasn't normal-"

Kara scoffs. "Got that right."

He ignores her comment and continues. "My father hit my hand with a hammer and nothing happened to me."

Kara's face drops into a more serious one. "What?"

"All it did was mess up the hammer itself. No broken bones or fingers. He also told me my real name." He pauses and looks at Kara, who gives him an encouraging nod. "Mon-El. I didn't know what it meant, so I came to find you. I know that I've done a lot of things in the past to piss you and your friends off, but please- I don't know what's wrong with me, and I want your help."

Kara looks down and sighs. "Fine. But we're getting Alex and Supergirl on this."

"Why Supergirl?"

"Because you're obviously an alien or a meta. Alex works with her and I know her, so it should be fine."

"Agent Danvers!" Kara calls out in her Supergirl outfit.

Alex turns around from the mainframe and walks up to the two in the middle of the room and sees her and a guy she thought was familiar. "Supergirl. Who did you bring?"

"You're not going to like him."

"I rarely like anyone. I don't know how I can stand Winn."

"I heard that!" Winn calls back from his desk.

"You were supposed to, you idiot!" she yells back.

"Hey, Winn's here?" Mon-El asks, craning his neck to see him.

"How do you know Winn?" Alex asks, hand on her hip.

Kara draws in a breath. "Because he's Mike."

Alex's hand drops as well as her face. She pulled back her fist to give him a punch, but Kara stops her by grabbing her wrist. "You don't want to do that, Alex."

"Why not?"

"Because he's alien and impenetrable."

"Oh, shit." She drops her arm. "We should tell him."

"Why should we?"

"Because it's gonna get really confusing if we don't."

Kara lets out a protestant sigh. "Fine."

Alex turns to Mon-El. "You can't tell anyone about this or I'll send you back into space myself," she says through her teeth. "Got it?"

"Yes, ma'am."

"Do you remember your freshman year of high school, and Kara was the only one who could hit you and it had an effect?"

He smirks. "Yeah, she was a hard hitter."

"Watch it, or I'll-"

"Alex!"

Alex sighs. "Well, Supergirl is her."

Mon-El's mouth goes into a grin. "Really? That's awesome. And my lips are sealed." He mimics a zipper closing shut.

"Good." Alex leads them to the mainframe. "J'onn, we have a pr-"

"I heard, Agent Danvers. Mon-El here doesn't know anything about himself other than he's impenetrable and his real name."

"How did-"

"He's Martian," Kara answers for him, cutting him off. "He can read minds and shapeshift."

"Cool."

J'onn scans his mind more. "Daximian."

"Oh, you've got to be kidding me." Kara steps away from him.

"What?" Mon-El asks innocently, as he knows nothing about himself. Then, his mind goes into a flashback.

"My prince! It is not safe for you here!" The guard drags Mon-El out of the room and outside. They both run away from the falling debris and ash.

"Here." The guard opens the pod and looks at him. "Get in."

He followed his orders and jumped in. "You can make this thing work, right?"

"Yes. I'll send you on a course for Earth. You'll be fine there." Little did Mon-El know, he was also wiping his mind. He pressed buttons on the outside of the pod and enclosed him in the pod. He pressed another, which made smoke come in on the inside. Mon-El got dizzy and passed out.

After a minute, he could hear a voice. "You are Mike Matthews. You're fifteen and adopted. You love football and soccer but will do any sport. You are a jock at school, who is cocky, flirty, and gets wasted on alcohol. Good luck."

Mon-El comes back and gasps for air and abruptly sits up off the floor.

"Easy, easy," Kara tells him.

"J'onn, what just happened to him?" Alex asked.

"He just had a flashback of his life on Daxam."

"They-" He took a breath in before continuing. "They called me their prince. A guard put me in a pod and wiped my mind. Placed me under false pretenses of Mike Matthews. The cocky jock at school."

Kara's eyebrows are in a tight furrow. "We can train him. Even if he's a Daxamite, we still can; so that he can control his powers."

He nods. "I'm following your lead."

Now, months later...

"Kara! Come on! Have a drink!" Mon-El pressures her, as he already has some alien booze in his system.

She shook her head and adjusted her glasses. "Designated driver. All of you guys are getting wasted and it's not going to end well."

He shrugs. "Suit yourself." Mon-El goes back to Winn, James, Alex, and Maggie at the table.

Later after getting drunk and almost starting a fight, Kara had to drag Mon-El out of the bar before he caused any more trouble.

"Come onnnn, Kara," he whined as she took him out through the back entrance. "That guy had no rightsss to steal my pretzzzels."

"No he did not," she agrees with the drunk Mike, shaking her head.

"Hey. Hey, Kara. Come here. It's a shortcut." He leads her to the alleyway and somehow pins her against the wall with her arms pinned by his arm across her chest.

"Mon-El! How the hell are you stronger than me? Let me go."

"Oh, Kara, I don't think I want to do that." He leaned closer to her face, letting her smell the alcohol on her breath.

"Mon, let me go. Seriously, stop."

"I don't think I want to stop, Kara." One of his hands goes down to his pants, unzipping his jeans and poking his penis out.

She looks down and whimpers. She struggles against his tight grip, but it does nothing. His hand goes to her waistline, tugging on it to come off.

Alex and Maggie walk out of the back laughing. Even though they were already broken up, that still didn't mean that they couldn't go to the bar and share a few drinks with friends, right? They turn the corner and see the scene unraveling and Maggie pulls out her gun, Alex doing the same with her alien one, immediately sobering up at the sight.

"I knew you were trouble, Daxamite," Maggie says in a serious tone, making both of them look up to see Sanvers with their guns pointed at him.

"Let. My sister. Go. ," Alex growls at him, scowling at him.

He smirks, only to near closer to Kara. "Or what?"

Neither of them hesitates and both shoot him. Maggie first in the leg with her lead bullets, making him yell out in pain. Alex with her alien gun on stun mode, making him fall down to the ground, unconscious. Alex runs over to Kara, who was now too disturbed, shocked, frightened, and scared to even move. She fell down to the ground, tears escaping her eyes.

"Never liked him," Maggie mutters, putting her gun back in her waistline.

Alex catches Kara in her arms and slowly brings her down, going down with her. "Hey, hey, hey, I'm here. I'm here. Come here, Kar." She pulls her close as she weeps, burying her face deep in her sister's chest.

Maggie calls J'onn on her phone away from the two. "Director J'onzz."

"Detective Sawyer."

"There's been an incident at the bar. Kara was left-" she looks over at Kara in her sister's arms and sighs. "Very disturbed with Mon-El shot and unconscious. He did something wrong to her and we had to stop him. Can you pick him up, put him in containment until he sobers up and handle the DEO without Alex or Kara for the next few days?"

"I'm on my way. Let Kara take as much time as she needs. Alex, too."

Maggie hangs up on him and looks back over at the two. Alex rocks her back and forth, comforting her, whispering sweet nothings in her ear, trying to get Kara to calm down. It was a rough night.

The first thing Kara did to Mon-El when she got back was punched him in the face, making him stagger back.

"Yep, I deserve that," he says when he regains his posture.

"You think!?" Kara yells at him angrily. "I never liked you, Mon-El. Even when we were kids and you were Mike. Now, you just made that worse. So just stay out of my way and away from me," she hisses at him.

He nods his head solemnly. "Understood."

At that moment, a ship appeared above National City. Kara, Alex, Maggie, and J'onn ran out to the balcony at the time a hologram appeared, as well as on all the screens throughout the city. Few aliens in armor and weapons beamed down to terrorize and scare citizens. Everyone screamed and ran away from the masked, armed intruders.

"National City. I am Queen Rhea of Daxam. My husband and I have searched the stars and finally came here to look for our son. Mon-El, Prince of Daxam, is being held here. If he is not returned to me in forty-eight hours, I declare war on your city. These few soldiers down here already-" she laughs humorlessly. "This is only the beginning." The hologram fades out

"Well, that was straightforward," Maggie says, breaking the silence other than the small terrorization down below on the streets.

Everyone turns to Mon-El. Kara's the first to speak. "Oh, you're going."

"Of course I am. Nothing left for me here," he mutters the last part.

Kara walks down to Winn. "Can you get in touch with the Daxamite ship?"

"I got you." Winn types quickly on his board and Queen Rhea appears onscreen.

"Queen Rhea. This is Supergirl, champion of Earth. Your son, Mon-El, is here. He will return to you, no questions asked."

"Wonderful. I'll set a beam to send him up at the top of CatCo World Wide Media. I'll see you soon, my son." The call ends.

Kara walks off. "Don't expect me to fly you there." She flies off to fight the few Daxamites across the city, leaving everyone on the balcony.

"So, how am I getting there?"

Maggie shrugs as she and Alex start to walk out of the building to go join her. "Walk!" she yells over her shoulder. "Like everyone else in this goddamn city does!"
