George woke up to see a giant room. He remembered he was kidnapped by a giant named Dream, who seemed to heal his wounds as well

George noticed he could walk. He felt better, but he still felt pain. He looked to see Dream asleep on the couch and had one arm down touching the floor

George slid down from the table and walked towards the couch. He wanted to climb and see the giant's face, but noticed a black thick band on the side of his head

George touched the giant hand and backed away when he noticed it move and lift up to rub his eyes from underneath the mask. He looked at the human as he noticed how close he was with him

: Morning, George!

: Morning

: You hungry?

: Y-Yeah

Dream carefully placed his feet down and kept gazing at George. He backed away, but kept his ground as the giant smiled

"May I have your permission?" Dream asked as he knelt down on his knee. George nodded and noticed the giant hand moving down and landing in front of him

George climbed onto it and held the thumb as he felt the roller coaster feeling as Dream lifted himself. He walked towards the kitchen and placed George on the counter as he turned to make breakfast

The brunette smelled something good. He noticed Dream cooking pancakes and humming to "Mask" as he glanced at the human

: *nervously* You like pancakes?

: What?

: You don't know what a pancake is?!

: *scared* N-No? Am I supposed to know?

Dream sighed, "It's the best breakfast! How could you not know?!" "You see...um...well...I don't know," George answered as he felt a tear stream down

"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to make you upset! I was just surprised you've never tried pancakes. It's literally everywhere!" Dream said as George listened

George felt tears as he heard Dream rambling about pancakes. He shivered and lost it,

The brunette sobbed loudly as Dream stared in shock. No wonder he was all injured. He thought it was because of those students, but it seemed like it was from them and his foster parents

Dream noticed George wasn't looking, so he tiptoed towards the counter and stretched his hand out. He noticed George flinched hard at the sight of Dream's hand, but he stayed still

The blonde used his finger and brushed the human's back like a human petting a cat. George calmed down as he enjoyed the giant's gentle stroke

: At least I am getting to know you pretty quickly

: *sniff* I think you are the only one who cares about me, and Niki

: Who's Niki?

: A friend of mine. She always stops me from harming myself

Dream felt a tear and lifted his mask to wipe it away. He took it off and froze as he noticed George with his mouth open at the sight of his face - bright green emerald eyes shone brighter than an LED light, strands of golden dirty blonde hair covered some of his face, and soft freckles dotted his handsome looks across

The blonde blushed and placed his mask on. He felt heat rise as he heard a sneeze from the human. He laughed and went to comfort the human. He scooped up George and placed him on his chest

George figured this was a giant's way of a hug to a human. George was squished as he tried to squirm out of the hug. "Oops! Was that too much?" Dream asked gently as George laughed

His laugh made Dream laugh to the point he wheezed. His wheeze echoed his entire home as both laughed together

After minutes of laughing, George spoke, "Dream, I'm glad you found me. I want to stay with you forever!" Dream smiled as he took off his mask, making George blush and look away

He felt a giant finger on his chin and turn his face to meet the giant's eyes. Both were red and looked away

: Clay

: Huh?

: My real name is Clay

: That's beautiful

: I was given this nickname by my parents

: And they were right

George froze and blushed from embarrassment with his comment, noticing it didn't seem to bother Dream

George smiled as he got close to the giant, using his index finger to motion him to bend down towards him. Dream knelt down until he matched George's height and moved closer

George patted his nose and stroke it softly. He heard a growl, no, a purr from Dream? He saw Dream with half-lidded eyes as he purred at George's soft touch

"Thank you for saving me," George said as Dream smiled, "I will protect you from now on, and that's a promise."

George had an idea, "May I visit Niki? I promise I won't tell her about you!" Dream chuckled, "She somewhat knows I exists."

: How?!

: I was in her dream

: Dream? Get it? *laughs*

: Stop it! Will you come back?

: I promise!

: I'll wait for you at the barrier entrance
