George was inside Clay's pocket. It was warm and he loved the way it felt. He felt the giant halt as he noticed he was facing a forest

Dream whispered something as he made hand signs and movements. He made a doorway and George was shocked to see a barrier open

The bubble Dream was in kept it giant size for him to feel comfortable, and it was hidden in the human forest!

Dream carefully wrapped his hand around George's body. He felt him flinch a bit. He smiled as he remembered the talk from yesterday. He placed him down and said, "Take as much as you want, but if you need anything, run back here and call me. I promise no one will ever hurt you again."

George smiled as he hugged Dream's index finger. He tightened the hug as he felt Dream's other finger stroke his back with rhythmic strokes

George waved goodbye and noticed the barrier closing. He needed clothes, toothbrushes, combs, shampoo, and a few supplies to move in with Dream if he was staying in there forever

He knew where to go and sprinted towards the open field. He noticed a girl with light pink hair tending her own garden and he yelled her name

She looked around and saw George running towards her. Her eyes filled with tears and she ran to hug her lost friend

: George! You're back!

: I was gone for 2 days

: Still, I'm glad you're back! Where have you been?

George stood silent. He promised Dream he wasn't going to mention about him. He wanted to keep him as a secret, but Dream's response shocked George, 'She somewhat knows I exist.'

George sighed, "I was saved by someone." Niki smiled, "I figured because your foster parents were "worried". They are great at acting and I watched their alligator tears stream down as they said they missed you so much!"

Both laughed as George decided to spill the beans, "Niki, I was rescued by the giant who lives in the woods. You know the rumor? It's true!"

Niki gave him a stern look. George wouldn't believe such thing unless he has seen it. She and him walked into the forest to talk in private

: So the monster is real?

: He's no monster. He's friendly! His name is Dream!

: How does he look like?

: He has a lime green hoodie, black pants, lime green shoes, and his mask is white with a simple black smiley face!

: Just what the man said! May I see him?

: Sure!

: Will he be ok? You know...with me seeing him?

: He said he wasn't worried. He told me you have met him in a dream. Have you?

Niki froze. The whisper, George walking away, the green lights, it all made sense! Dream was meant to save George! She smiled as both decided to head into the houses. "You'll need stuff, George," Niki said as they ran to get supplies

The brunette had all his clothes in his bags. Niki waited as she handed him a box with a red bow nicely tied

"What is it?" George asked as he grabbed it and examined it. "Open it!" Niki said as she watched the brunette open it eagerly

He gasped as he noticed a small black square object shine from the reflection of the sun. A white cord with little heads were on both sides as the wire connected into one

: It's a phone and earbuds. I paid for it so that you could call me anytime or you can listen to some music

: Thanks, Niki

: Will you visit me?

: I promise! You are the best friend I could ever have

Niki blushed and hugged George. Both were heading out to the forest and heard a voice, "George! Where have you been?!"

They turned to see the familiar bully that left George in the forest. George shivered as Nick walked closer with his friends behind

: Where were you?!

: Nowhere

: You can't just be ambiguous about what happened last time!

: So what? You left there!

: Well, let's get them, boys!

Nick and his group followed Niki and George as they sprinted into the forest. Niki didn't like the fact they were running deeper into the forest, but she had to trust George. If he has the giant as his friend, she hopes he could save them

They ran, but they could still hear Nick and his friends following behind. They were a bit more athletic than them. She also noticed George wasn't limping. Did Dream tend his wounds? Niki thought as she followed George

George lost his way as he seemed to know Niki found out. The group caught up and circled the duo like predators. Two boys grabbed Niki as she tried to escape their grip

George was held by another one as Nick looked at his bags. "You're leaving? I was hoping I could use you! You'd be a great punching bag!"

George yelled, "DREAM!" Nick tilted his head with confusion. He laughed as George called for the giant. Niki remembered and called the name

: Have you lost your mind?

: No!

: Who the fuck's 'Dream'?

: None of your business!

: Do you know?

: No

: Well then, let's teach him a lesson!

One of his friends screamed in horror. Nick noticed his friend look around and ran away. His other friends experienced a pull and being dropped as they ran off

"WHERE ARE YOU GOING?!" Nick called as he watched the boys run in fear. The Texan turned to George as he grabbed the shirt and pulled. "LET HIM GO!" a loud booming voice called as Nick noticed a giant hand separating him and George, later sliding it towards the forest

A giant emerged as he grabbed the Texan's body. He screamed and struggled to free himself from the giant's grasp. He could see the mask as he shivered in fear. Nick stared in horror and felt the giant loosening his grip and placed him on the floor

Nick backed into the tree as the giant masked face leaned closer to him. "Touch him again and you won't be seeing the light of day!" he growled as Nick ran off screaming like a girl

George recovered from the shock and noticed Dream's hand reaching out for him and stroke his back. "Shhh, it's ok! You're safe!" he said as he shushed the frightened human

His face turned to the human girl as she gasped with amazement. Seems like George has attached himself to this giant

: George said you met me in a dream?

Dream slid his mask to reveal one eye. She gasped, remembering the lights were 2 and it was emerald green, with George walking towards the emerald lights

She smiled and shook Dream's index finger. "I'm glad you helped him," she said as she watched the giant adjust his mask to cover his full face

She hugged George and both waved goodbye as she noticed Dream open a barrier. She gasped and smiled as she walked back home, knowing she must keep this secret and keep Nick quiet or George and Dream would face bigger problems
