🔺🔺MANGA SPOILERS🔺🔺Seriously. In my research, for this book, I spoiled the whole series for myself so I'm warning you all now there are MAJOR spoilers ahead and I can't tell you from where because I don't know. I was just googling and found out this information.
🔺🔺MANGA SPOILERS🔺🔺
Everyone's heads jerked towards the boy, and it was a boy with a large scar on his face and half of his head shaved. You had no idea who the boy was, but he resembled Sanemi vaguely.
The boy's eyes grew wider and he unholstered a double-barrel shotgun. It looked short, but that was neither here nor there. You stared at him, raising a brow as if daring him to shoot you.
He aimed and fired once, and you only moved your head to the side. A bored look crossed your face, already done with the entire situation. You stood up and suited off your pants.
He was taking aim again, and as he shot you moved. None of the people there were able to see your movements. You stood in front of him, grabbing the gun with one hand and his jaw in the other. "It's only a double barrel, sweetie. What do you plan on doing now that you're out?" You ask, corking your eyebrow.
You were only maintaining eye contact with him when a scent catches your attention, it's demon blood, you inhale a little deeper this time. Realization crosses over your features. "It's you," you growl. Genya knew what you were referencing, a look of terror crossing his face. "Please, please don't," he whimpered.
You took a step back, backhanding the boy. "How dare you! You demon wentch!" Sanemi yells. He tried to stomp over towards you but Akaza grabbed him. "Those were my children! Did you ever think about that!? About that pain, you've caused!" You screeched at the boy who lay on the ground holding his face.
Tears filled your eyes, but you knew you couldn't lose control. You gathered yourself quickly, wiping your eyes with your sleeves. You turned towards everyone, "I apologize for my outburst," and bowed. Akaza let Senemi go, who only stood there dumbfounded.
"I-I'm sorry," Genya looked at the ground ashamed. "Do better, I will train you if you wish. One must get stronger so as not to risk hurting themselves or others," you nodded, fixing your clothing and walking back to Akaza.
He scampered away, hiding behind the building and deciding to watch how the scene would unfold. He hadn't meant to interrupt a Hashira meeting, but he wanted to take a nice walk, and when he saw you were a demon he did only what he was trained to do. How you knew about his, less than moral, habits was beyond him. But you had offered to train him, and you were a demon, there had to be something you could offer that could help him more than what he'd been doing.
"Sanemi, if you wish to get back at me, I will fight you. If you beat me, you may end my life, but your brother will continue his cycle of weakness, If I win, I will train your brother and nothing else changes."

"Mother-" Akaza interrupted, "fear not dear. I am confident in how this will turn out," you winked at the demon. He nodded, stepping back.
"Well, how could I refuse your deal? Can't wait to kill you, you bitch," Senemi growled.
You rolled your eye, "must your language be so foul," you stepped back, stance ready. "Sanemi, I don't think this is a good idea," Rengoku attempted to intervene. "Shut it flameo. I'm going to kill the demon that you were unable to."
Ouch, that was low, Rengoku thought. "How dare you speak to him in such a way. He almost died for hundreds of citizens. They all survived because he was fighting off a demon! Maybe had any of you bastards helped, he would have killed me. So don't you dare speak Rengoku in such a way."
You bite your thumb and draw a horizontal line from your elbow to your palm. A sword made of your blood appears in your hand and points at Sanemi.
Akaza blushed, and danced in place. "Ooh you just made her serious, she never curses. Hehe, I'm so excited," the demon danced like a child about to receive a treat. Both Rengoku and Senemi realized how fucked the wind hashira was.
Mitsuri looked over at the other Demon, confused by his reaction. However, when she looked at you, she felt the rage and power radiating off of you. She sucked in a breath, realizing just how hard Rengoku must have fought to have been able to keep up with you.
Rengoku stood up, trying to place himself between the two of you. "I'm sure there is a better way to solve this," he smiled nervously. "Rengoku, I implore you to move out of the way. Not only did Sanemi disrespect you on multiple occasions, but he seems to not understand his place and I cannot allow this disrespect to continue."
Rengoku sighed, his shoulders dropping, and moved himself out of the way. He would rather not witness the fight but figured it would be entertaining and might actually help them understand you meant no harm.
You settled yourself into your stance, glaring at the younger slayer. "Sanemi, I will not harm you, but you will learn your place today."
"You realize I'm older than Rengoku, right, you hag," Sanemi sneered. You leaned back, you did not, in fact, think that Sanemi was older than Rengoku. With the way, they interacted you assumed that Rengoku was one of the oldest in the group.
You collected yourself, "that doesn't matter. Rengoku is better than you will ever be, and has done more for his fellow men than you could ever dream of," you grunt. Sanemi only grew angrier, and you reveled in his rage.
"Are you upset that I speak the truth Sanemi?" You goaded, sidestepping one of his strikes. He growled, which you noticed he did often and lunged for you again. You danced around him and didn't even give him the satisfaction of meeting his sword with your own.
You kept your sword at your side, never lifting it. You'd met people like Sanemi, and when they were being taken lightly it only angered them more. And your goal was to attack his pride and break him down.

You always found great joy in breaking down those who were overly prideful. "Are you really that weak?" You deride, only now lifting your sword to meet his own. "I'm not weak," he scoffed, attempting to push your sword to the side in hopes of creating an opening.
"Really?" You goad, "because you haven't killed me yet," you shrugged and stepped away from the slayer. You could see him get angrier by the second, veins popping up on his forehead and neck. "Shut up and fight me!" He yelled, swinging his sword above his head.
You smirked and closed in on him in an instant. Jabbing your elbow into his stomach. He grunted, one hand dropping from his sword. He wheezed, one hand dropping to inspect his midsection. His other hand still holding his sword up.
You grinned, suddenly attacking the man. You made sure not to nick his skin, not wanting to have to deal with Akaza, but continued your onslaught. With every blow of your sword against his, he would grunt or groan.
He was scrambling back, his eyes widened, as he tried to properly defend himself. He was almost flailing as he tried to get his sword up and between the two of you. You had the opening to kill him, but decided not to.
Something had been bugging you, so you decided to handle it now. "Lord Obuyashiki, may I enter the veranda?" You asked, not taking your eyes off of the Wind Hashira. Ubuyashiki was puzzled but nodded anyway.
You stepped away from the Hashira, hopping up onto the veranda and walking behind Ubuyashiki. "If you kill him, we will end you both," Uzui growled. You rolled your eyes, making a beeling to the sword that was displayed on the back wall.
You pulled it down, feeling the weight of it in your hands. You sighed in contentment, unsheathing the blade. You stepped down and bowed towards Ubuyashiki, "thank you, my lord," you spoke before turning around to face Sanemi again.
"You're some evil witch aren't you?" Sanemi insulted. You took a deep breath, looking at the slayer with distaste.
Your eyes had flushed red, the sword easily fitting into your grip. Your stance was hauntingly familiar, and no one could truly place why. "Ya know Sanemi, I don't think I've lost a fight in hundreds of years. Do you wanna know how?"
You took a deep breath, they could hear the change in your breathing, could even see it. You were using total concentration breathing, constant. How on earth does she know how to do that? Each of the people present questioned. They all exchanged glances, landing on Rengoku and urging him to give them some sort of information.
He was just as confused as everyone else, not understanding how you knew total concentration breathing, or how you had learned it. He certainly hadn't taught you, and while he knew you were powerful, that wasn't something you could learn that quickly or by yourself.
They took note of the sword, and how it went with your outfit. The sword was a beautiful deep purple, the color of royalty. The pommel was a circle, with small craters in it, representing the moon. Your own outfit reflected the sword. Faded, now almost lavender, purple circles splashed along the fabric.
Some of the circles overlapped, but it also had the fazes of the moon displayed on the collar. The haori looked old, and considering your theorized age, it was.
Sanemi had recovered at this point, still wanting to kill you but quickly losing hope. You were staring him down, eyes filled with red. "Because I was one of the first demon slayers, the moon Hashira!"
You disappeared from sight. Sanemi had let his guard down in his astonishment. "There's no way! Moon breathing doesn't exist!" He yelled out, trying to locate you. He had his head on a swivel, the others also turning to try and see you.
Akaza was dancing in his seat, his eyes flitting to and fro. They tried to follow his gaze, but as soon as they had located where he was looking his eyes would flick in another direction. "Where are you!?" Sanemi bellowed.
"Right here," you whispered in his ear. He swung his sword towards where your voice had come from, but it only connected with air. He was growing red, angry that you had not only not taken him seriously, but now he couldn't even see you.
"Face me dammit!" His sword was lowered, and he was starting to fall apart. You were grinning and finally slowed down enough for him to see you. You were only about 10 feet away from him.
"I'm facing you now Sanemi," you simpered, pleased with having torn the hashira down. He was gasping for breath, trembling. You were something not to be trifled with, he understood that now, and you were terrifying. He found himself wanting to cry, but there was no way in hell he would do that in front of other people, or ever.
He glared at you, finally sheathing his sword. "I yield," he grouched. Your aura changed immediately, a smile overtaking your features as you sheathed your own sword. "That's great to hear, I'm glad we could come to an understanding." You clapped your hands together, tilting your head against them.
Sanemi scoffed and stumbled back to his own seat. Plopping down and sighing heavily. Shinbu smiled at him, leaning over and resting her hand on his shoulder, "are you alright?" She questioned.
Sanemi went to open his mouth before Rengoku cut in, "he is fine!" Everyone turned towards Rengoku, puzzled by his interruption. "And how would you know that?" Gyomei finally spoke up.
"Ms. (Y/n) said she would not hurt him, his skin and pride may be bruised but he will be fine," Rengoku nodded in affirmation. The Hashira squinted at him, but when Shinobu took a look at Sanemi she was shocked to find out that he was, in fact, correct.
"You didn't even leave a scratch," she spoke in wonderment. "I said I wouldn't. I have more control than most," you side-eyes Akaza. He squirmed in his seat, ashamed. Mitsuri glanced over at the male demon, inching away from him.
