---(Y/n)'s Pov---
I was walking through the snow at Sans' request. He had me following him around like a lost puppy with the help of what he stole from me- one could almost say that I was bound by a leash that he was just happily pulling along.
The skeleton told me that he was on patrol, but that since he didn't want to leave me at his home, he just decided to drag me along. In the end, I could tell that he was just being curious. Even if he didn't ask me to come with him, I still would of stalked after him... because he had my damn prototype and I wasn't going to leave it in his hands to protect.
I only had one of those, and I needed it to conduct my repairs. After all, I went through a lot of hell to get my hands on it. I only had one shot at doing this, so I had to make the most of it.
In all honesty, I could feel the calm wall that I've been building up fade. I was practically panicking at the fact of me having to trust someone else with such a valuable object. Thanks to a lot of practice, no one could really see the stress that I was feeling. Instead, I kept up that nonchalant façade. "Tell me somethin' 'bout yourself."
His head was turned slightly to stare in my direction, waiting for an answer while he kept his hands shoved into the warmth of his blue hoodie. Sans' eye was looking for any shift in expression, it wasn't half lidded and instead maintained a wide creepy gaze. Most people would look at him and see the growing blood lust, only to flee in the opposite direction without any kind of response.
Despite the fear that someone would be feeling, I actually had the perfect answer to his question.
"I wouldn't make a very pleasant meal. In fact, I'd probably make the consumer relatively ill."
.......
He gave me a look that was unreadable, as if he were searching for the right answer. And just when I thought that he wouldn't say anything, as usual... he caught me off guard with a small shrug of his shoulders.
"Nah. I bet that you'd taste amazing. Well- I know that ya would. After all, your blood does." He gave me that psychotic grin of his, daring for me to say something out of denial so that he could prove it... but I said nothing.
Sometimes, there really was no right answer.
After about five more minutes of our quiet walk, we came up on a patch of blue snow. Sans didn't say anything to me as he stopped and made a motion as if he were looking for Papyrus. I was going to stop with him since I felt as though the snow seemed suspicious... but then I realized something.

He was testing me to see if I would stop.
I didn't know what would happen If I walked into it, but I could only assume that the outcome wouldn't be favorable. Taking a closer look at the strange change in landscape, something managed to catch my attention. Near the middle of what was obviously a trap- there was an arm sticking out of the snow. It appeared to be lifeless and drained of color.
Regardless, I decided to walk forward out of curiosity for Sans' next course of action. Besides, what was the difference between this and a body that I may or may not of kept frozen in a freezer? Cough.
My first step caused him to look at me with interest... my second step made his grin widen slightly. Once I was on my third step, beads of sweat were building on his skull- and then before I could do anything else, I strong grip on my arm pulled me back. "SANS YOU LAZY BONES. THIS PUZZLE ISN'T FOR MY FRIEND."
"Heh. Sorry, Pap. I didn't mean to almost freeze her down to the bone." He smirked while winking a single eye socket due to his pun which only caused his brother to groan. Looking back at the snow, Papyrus decided to demonstrate by picking up a nearby branch... and throwing it into the strange patch.
I didn't look very surprised once it started to sink into it like quicksand. "Think of blue snow as a stop sign. If you see it, then you stop."
I didn't turn away from the sight of the poor stick, I didn't even need to shift my glance to know that Sans was standing very close behind me. I could feel his chilling breath against the back of my neck. "It is actually a very painful death. Buuut, ya might not be able to grasp the gravity of that situation unless ya experience it first hand."
And just like that, he gestured towards the hand of the arm that was sticking out of the snow. Fantastic.
After the small show was over, I was going to turn around to glare at Sans but instead, Papyrus hooked an arm around my mid section and lifted me off of the ground. I was hanging from his side in a postion that would usually be considered uncomfortable... but honestly, I didn't really care. Even If I felt humiliated to be held like this.
Now Sans on the other hand? He seemed to be glaring slightly at Papyrus. "SANS IS CLEARLY NOT FIT TO KEEP YOU OUT OF HARMS WAY, HUMAN."
Huh... so he was back to calling me that? The last time that he used my name, it was just before I fainted. Maybe his memory wasn't exactly reliable... hmm. "What? C'mon, Paps. You really think that I'd just let her walk into an early grave?"
I'm rather certain that he was just testing me, but that was still a good question. Was Sans going to just let me die? Or was he going to stop me?

Judging by his sadistic nature, he was probably going to get me killed... and then state that it was an accident.
---Sans' Pov---
Papyrus had to ruin it right then and there. I was going to let her walk into that blue snow, and then casually save her from it. She really doesn't seem to have much confidence in me, and after right now... it was probably worse. I was going to use this moment to build some kind of trust between us.
I mean... I might of wanted to see her beg for me to help her. But I wasn't trying to literally kill her or anything.
Damnit.
"So... what are we doing out here exactly?" (Y/n) asked. I grinned in her direction as Papyrus moved to avoid all of his traps while also explaining them to her. He made sure that she understood them so that she wouldn't hurt herself in the future. Actually, the fact that he cared so much about her was both unnerving and a relief at the same time.
While I didn't like him getting too close to her, it was good that he didn't want to kill her. "We're hunting."
"THAT'S RIGHT. SINCE I REFUSE TO EAT YOU, WE ARE HUNTING FOR OUR NEXT MEAL." My brother explained. Sure I told her that I was on patrol, but tibia honest... hunting and patrol were basically the same thing to me.
"Well, I am willing to share my food if need be. Although, most of my food happens to be sweets-" Before she could say anything else, my bro released (Y/n) from his grip since we were out the way of his more dangerous puzzles. She would of fallen right into the snowy ground face first if I hadn't caught her arm In a firm grip. After stabilizing her, she sent me a slight look of uncertainty. Huh, guess that's a good start.
"NONSENSE. YOU ALREADY SHARED THAT COOKIE WITH ME." Oh right, the drugged cookie. What I gave her didn't really have any effect on us Monsters, it was more of a Human thing that I would share with Tori sometimes. She had her own twisted plans for the fallen Humans. Heh. "SINCE YOU ARE HERE, HUMAN... I ASSUME THAT YOU'LL BE JOINING US?!"
My brother's crooked smile widened as he leaned into (Y/n)'s direction with that crazed expression of his. "THIS IS A PERFECT OPPORTUNITY FOR US TO BOND! YOU ARE SUCH A GOOD FRIEND TO BE TAKING THE INITITAVE!"
And just like that, (Y/n) offered him that signature fake smile of hers. Though I couldn't exactly tell what she was thinking, I knew that she was going to look for a way out of this... and knowing her, she always had an escape plan. "Actually Papyrus... I am inexperienced in this unlike you are. I thought that I could watch you- you know? Learn from a true master."
Oh wow, she was good. In fact, her words caused Papyrus to snap back to reality rather that crazy psychopath vibe that he was just giving off. "OF COURSE. I COMPLETELY UNDERSTAND, HUMAN!"
And with that, Papyrus moved a couple of steps away from us in order to inspect one of his puzzles. Leaning over to (Y/n) with a lazy smirk, she returned my glance with a raised eyebrow.
"Heh, not too fond of hurting anyone, Human?" I mocked as she sent me a harsh look. I knew that she didn't like to be called that. Within seconds, my grin faltered into a frown. The look that she was giving me- that was the look of someone with a murderous intent.
Taking a step back, she turned to face me with those piercing (E/c) eyes staring straight into the depths of my Soul. Why did I suddenly feel like I was being judged for the weight of my sins? Why did I feel... uneasy.
My instincts were telling me to take a step back from her as she took one forward. Within seconds, I felt a rush of excitement in the form of a shiver. The fear that I was feeling was slowly building up into something similar to a thrill. Why did her approach make my Soul react like that...
It was almost like it was demanding her for a challenge. Wanting for her to overstep her boundaries so that I could show her who's really in charge. Once we were face to face, my eyes looked down into hers... she had that impassive stare, but mine was filled with desire.
I think that she was expecting for me to back away from her, but I held my ground. When Monsters did this with someone that they liked, it was often to show which Monster was the more dominant of the two. If either of them looked away, you knew who would hold the lead in the relationship. Usually, one would always naturally be submissive in some form... so there was never any need to prove superiority.
But this situation was different. (Y/n) was different.
"I will not hurt another Individual. So do not expect me to take part in this hunt, Monster."
Ohhh... she was really going to test me? My Soul was telling me to pin her down right now, put her in her place- but as soon as my hand moved out to grab her by her coat, she lashed her grip around my wrist and stopped me.
Just when I thought that (Y/n) was going to attempt to shove me back, she instead snapped her attention over to Papyrus before releasing me to charge into his direction.
I was confused... especially after I heard a loud BANG.
Watching as (Y/n) pushed my brother to the side, the act that she did was quickly followed by her blood staining the snow.
Someone...
.........
Someone fucking spilt HER blood.

So, still desperate, he thinks – “I’m probably at the bottom of the ranking for boys in this class, so how about I ask the girl who is also at the lowest ranking?” The girl’s name was Pink. She said yes. Gulp. “What do I do now?” was his reaction. Well, obviously, have a romance. And, along the way, they get one hell of a lot more than they bargained for. Like, for example, supernatural Judgemental Powers. How did they get those? And that was only the start. The two most insignificant students in their class become famous. Not just in their class or even in their school, but to the population at large. They end up breaking and making the top politicians and rulers of their country. It follows on from my previous novel “Maybe it would have been a good idea not to wish for a harem?”, however it is a totally separate story with only a minimal overlap in the characters. There is no need to read the first story to enjoy this one. Although you just might enjoy the first story also… This story has multiple characters and multiple Points of View. Every POV change is clearly marked with a new header. Inside each POV section, the POV character’s thoughts are in italics. This story has about 105,000 words (about 380 RoyalRoad pages). It is fully written and proof read (the poor man’s proof read using Word). It has 25 chapters, and will be published at the rate of roughly one chapter per day. She likes the idea of waking up in the middle of her favourite book with the handsome, brooding Mr Thornton glaring at people in his mill yard, but she doesn't worry about the foul air of dirty, smoky Milton, because it's not real, and it was written over 160 years ago.But then she takes a trip to Oxford, and gets waylaid along the way, finding herself greeted at a smoky train station, by a man called Mr Hale, who claims to be her godfather. When Isabel meets Margaret and first sees Mr Thornton, she's determined to help the course of love run a little more smoothly for the two stubborn lovers. But Gaskell hadn't accounted for a second young lady in the Crampton house, and whilst Isabel tries to adapt to a life where women have no independence or equality, Milton must adapt to her.
