《A Devil's Angel (Black Hat x Reader)》12- Welcome

It was pitch black. You could barely see anything when you opened your eyes. The only visible light was the weak moonlight coming from out the window. You were in your room. Wait, how?

The last thing you remember was sitting on the couch while the sun was setting. Were you really asleep for that long?

You mumbled as you fixed yourself in a more comfortable position. Suddenly, you heard someone else mumble. You looked next to you. Black Hat was there, asleep. He was mumbling in his sleep. He also seemed to be sweating and he looked anxious.

'Nightmare' came to your mind, but then you thought, 'wait, can he even have nightmares?'

You looked at him again, having trouble with your eyes still adjusting. 'Well he certainly isn't enjoying himself', you thought, looking at his expression more closely. He started getting more and more anxious and more and more sweaty.

'Guess i'm going laundry' you thought, jokingly, looking at the now damp pillow.

He was getting worse and worse by the second, but his mumbling had stopped, but was replaced by hard, shaky breathing. You felt bad. He seemed to be in really bad condition. You couldn't watch it anymore.

You put your hand on his cheek, hoping it would wake him up. It didn't. Instead, he stopped. His expression changed to a soft, worried one and his heavy breathing had stopped.

'The fuck?' Was all you could think. You barely touched him! The sudden change startled the shit out of you.

You took your hand away, glad that it had at least stopped. His expression slowly changed again, but not as bad as before. His expression turned into an anxious one, but he didn't look worried this time.

You noticed his expression changing and immediately felt bad again, but you weren't going to leave your hand on this guy's face! You barely even know him! You thought of a solution.

You held his hand, making sure not to wake him up. His face softened again. You mentally gave yourself a high five for your own good thinking. You carefully shuffled around a bit until you were comfortable again, and feel asleep.

Hours later, you woke up. You slowly sat up as the sun shone through your window, blinding you. You looked back at your side. Black Hat was no longer there. He must have woken up already.

You moved off the side of the bed, groggily stumbling towards the door. Mornings are the worst. You took a moment to gain your balance and opened the bedroom door.

You jumped back in surprise. Standing right in front of the door was Black Hat his hand stretched out, probably to open the door. His eye was wide open. He definitely wasn't expecting to see you there.

After a second or two, his expression turned to a stern one. "Good. I was just about to wake you up. The moving van is here to get your stuff." He said, looking down at you.

Needless to say, after that, you weren't really tired anymore. "Jesus, what time is it..... wait, what moving van?" You asked, confused.

"Well, it's eight in the morning and I got the van." He said.

"How did you get the van?"

"Well, I have my ways."

He gave you an evil grimace. Knowing him, he probably scared the crap out of someone and stole their moving truck. You mentally face-palmed.

You turned back into the bedroom to get dressed as he went downstairs to start loading everything into the van.

You put on a (F/C) hoodie and jeans with black shoes. You then brushed your hair and headed downstairs to help load everything, but when you got down there, all the boxes were already gone. There was just a bored Black Hat, leaning on a wall next to the door. He seemed to be examining his glove. How interesting.

He looked up from his gloved hand and glanced at you. His expression was asking if you were ready to go. You answered by walking over to the door and opening it, waiting to let him go first. He went outside and you followed, locking the door.

You were a little sad. You were going to miss this place, despite the fact you didn't have it long. You took that out of your mind and followed Black Hat towards the van.

You turned to him, walking by him. "How did you get all the boxes in there?" He gave you an unamused look. "I'm a demon. You saw how I made that can appear. You think I just magically made it exist? No. I can teleport things. I simply teleported the boxes into the van." He said, coldly.

He walked to the other side of the van into the driver's seat while you took the passenger seat. He had already tooken the driver's seat before you could offer that you drive. You looked out the window as he started the engine. This was probably the last time you would see this house as your own. Finally the van moved and drove away.

"Why didn't you just teleport them inside your house?" You asked, taking your eyes off the window and looking at him curiously. He rolled his eyes. "You really ask a lot of questions" he said, his voice monotone. After about ten seconds of silence, he answered.

"I can teleport things, but only a certain distance." He mumbled out, obviously feeling like he was giving out private information. "That's really cool!" You smiled at him, trying to lighten the mood. He was coming off as more of an asshole than he was yesterday. The two of you sat in silence for a minute or two before stopping in front of the manor. It was a long walk, but the drive wasn't that bad.

You both got out. He snapped his fingers and you saw the van slightly bounce up. He must have moved the boxes inside. You both got to the front gate when Black Hat violently grabbed your arm. This scared the shit out of you and you jumped, his grip not softening. You gave him a paniked, questioning glare.

"The security system won't harm you as long as your in contact with someone whos face is in the database. You aren't in it yet and I am. I'm simply saving you the pleasure of having 23 missiles shoved in your face." He said in an angry tone, giving you a glare of his own.

You calmed yourself, but his grip was still strong. It was starting to hurt. You didn't say anything, though. You could tell he wasn't in the mood.

He opened the gate and walked to the front door, dragging you along. You took in the house and it's details again as you walked towards it. Once you finally got to the front door, he grabbed the keys out of his pocket using his other hand and got them into the lock. There was a click.

He put his keys back inside of his pocket and opened opened the door.
