Y/n's pov

Adam takes me into the library and grabs something from off of the shelve. "Another little gift from the enchantress. A book that truly allows you to escape." Adam says blowing off the dust that has collected on it. I gasp in amazement. The cover of the book was gold and embroidered with many beautiful designs. Adam flips open the book and it shows some type of dust that inside and a picture of what looks like the world. "How amazing!" I say looking at Adam and back at the book. Adam shakes his head begging to differ. "It was her cruelest trick of all. It was just another curse." Adam says with a hint of disgust. I look over at Adam's blue eyes and sigh. Even though I didn't know him that well, I knew what he was thinking. The outside world has no place for him.

"The outside world has no place for a creature like me. . . but it can for you."

Adam says with a kind smile. I felt so bad for Adam, no matter how he felt about himself he always saw himself as a beast. "I don't think that way." I say to Adam. Adam looks up at me with a curious look. "Who you are on the outside doesn't mean you aren't what you are on the inside. For these last few months I've stayed in the castle, I've seen so many things come from you that I couldn't even imagine coming from a beast. Your kind, gentle, and a lot happier from what I hear from the servants." I say with a smile. Adam's blue eyes twinkle with delight at my words. I smile at this and it was all done by me. "Just remember that when you're feeling down about yourself." I say with a smile. Adam nods his head in appreciation and grabs ahold of my hand gentle and puts it on the book. "Think of the one place you've always wanted to see. Now find it in your mind's eye.

Then feel it in your heart." Adam says gently. I start to think of the place I want to go and I look down at the book and the gold dust is spreading all over the book. Then I feel us traveling to the place I wanted to go. I soon look around. I knew this place. This was the windmill that me, Papa, Belle and Maman lived in. "Where did you take us?" Adam ask curiously looking around. "Paris." I say quietly looking around at all of the stuff. It felt like I was dreaming. This can't be real, but it is because I'm with Adam. "Oh, I love Paris. This is your town you live in. What would you like to see first?

Notre Dame. . . The Champs-lyses. . . No? Too touristy?"

Adam says looking out the window. I look around the windmill once again and sigh. "Of all the windmills I've looked at, this one I never knew of. It's so much smaller than I imagined." I say certainly and a familiar tune I know very well. I start to sing.

🎵This is the Paris of my childhood

These were the borders of my life

In this crumbling, dusty attic

Where an artist loved his wife🎵

🎵Easy to remember

Harder to move on

Knowing the Paris of my childhood

Is gone🎵

I sit down on the old bed and hold a rose pen. There were lots of stuff that looked a lot like Papa's work. A toddler picture of Belle and a baby drawings of me. They were so well detailed. Adam looks over at me and back around the windmill. "What happened to your mother?" Adam ask curiously. I sigh and looked up at him. I always asked Papa about Maman. He would tell me a couple of things. Except for how she died. "It was the one story Papa could never bring himself to tell. I knew better than to ask." I say quietly. I had so many questions. What happened to Maman that Papa had to up and run off so quickly with us?

It never made sense. I watch Adam walk over to a chair in the corner and pick up something. "Oh. A doctor's mask." Adam says quietly. I slowly rise from my place on the old bed and look at it, then at him. Then I realize something, a doctor's mask in the windmill could only mean one thing. "Plague." Adam says sadly. I look over at the old bed and suddenly a memory comes to me.

A baby starts to cry and I hear voices around in my head. A suitcase closes and I see a doctor with the mask. And behind him looks like my mother?! "You must leave now." Doctor says to Papa. Papa looks over at Maman and goes over to her, wondering what he what's her to do. "Quickly! Before it takes them too." Maman says to Papa. I look at Papa's eyes and see that he's trying really hard not to cry. Maman kiss the rose pen to her lips. He grabs Belle's hand and grabs me out of the bassinet. My baby self starts to cry and the memory ends.

I kneel down toward the bassinet that held me inside it when I was a baby. I felt an aching pain in my heart. I can't believe this happen to Maman. The way she look laying on the bed. She was so pale and she looked cold. I felt like I wanted to cry but I kept it in. I can feel Adam's blue eyes looking at me sadly. "I'm sorry I ever called your father a thief." Adam says sadly. I knew he felt bad now for calling my father all of those things. I look up at Adam sadly. "Let's go home." I says sadness lurking in my voice. We get back home to Adam's castle and we are back in the library. I walk out of the library and go towards the ballroom. Ever since I cleaned that room, I didn't clean it by myself, lucky I got some help from the feather dusters.

And now it looked so beautiful. It reminds me so much of something like a beautiful memory from a dream. I start dancing around the ballroom by myself and twirl around. I felt like I was floating on air, only if I had someone to dance with. I soon hear clapping coming from the door to the ballroom and I see Adam standing in the large doorway. I blush and do a small curtsy. I was so embarrassed, how long has Adam been there for? Did he see me do all of that? "How long have you been standing there?" I ask curiosity in my voice. Wow that dancing helped get all of that off of my mind. Adam smiles at me and walks over towards me. "Long enough." Adam says smiling at me. Adam stares at me with a fond expression. I've never seen him look at me like that before.

"What?" I ask with curiosity in my voice. Adam snaps out of his daze and looks like he doesn't know what to say to me. "Well?" I ask curiously looking at Adam. He thinks for a moment and looks at me. "You're making everything look so beautiful. We should have a dance tonight. And seeing way you dance you dance beautifully." Adam says with a smile and a nervous look in his blue eyes. I smile and blush at what Adam just said. Did he just ask me to dance with him in the ballroom tonight? Oh my gosh! If he wasn't a beast right now, I could have kissed him. Wait, what? Did I really just say that?

"Thank you for the compliment about my dancing and yes, I would love to dance with you tonight." I say with a bright smile on my lips. Adam smiles at this and nods his head. "Okay, meet me back here in 2 hours." Adam says. I watch as Adam walks up to his bedroom in the West wing. And as soon as he's gone I squeal in delight. I was going to be dancing with Adam tonight. But what am I going to wear? I have nothing fancy to wear. But I know who can help me. I quickly run up the stairs to my bedroom in the east wing. And rush inside to see Madame de Garderobe abruptly awake by my sudden appearance. "Y/n, what is the rush?" She ask curiously. I take a moment to catch my breath and then look up at Madame de Garderobe.

"I'm dancing with Adam tonight and I don't have anything fancy to wear." I say nervously. I can tell by the way Madame de Garderobe looks at me and I can tell what she's thinking. "You need a dress. I will find you something worthy of a princess." Madame de Garderobe says happily. I shake my head and sigh. "Now let's see what I've got in my drawers." Madame de Garderobe says opening one of her drawers and moths come flying out. "Oh, how embarrassing." Madame de Garderobe says pushing the drawer closed. "Ah, I've got just the thing. It will make a beautiful woman shiny like the brightest star." Madame de Garderobe says happily. I can't believe this. Madame de Garderobe just called me beautiful and hopefully this dress she makes is beautiful.

Gaston's pov

As soon as we got back to town it started down pouring rain. I walked towards the tavern with LeFou and I could feel like LeFou wanted to say something. "This is some storm, huh? At least we're not tied to a tree in the middle of nowhere. . . surrounded by bloodthirsty wolves. You know it's not too late. We could always turn back. . ." LeFou says to me but is stopped by the the look I give him. I take off my hat and walk into the tavern. LeFou sighs and looks at me. "It's just. . . everytime I close my eyes. . . I picture Maurice stranded alone. And then when I open them. . . he's. . . Maurice!" LeFou says with a slight happier voice as he looks over in front of me. I stop automatically and wonder how he got out of those ropes. The bartender walks towards Maurice and stands beside him. "Gaston. . . did you try and kill Maurice?" The bartender looks at me with a mean look. I look at everybody around the tavern and back at Maurice.

I figured out how I can weasel my way out of this. "Maurice! Thank heavens! I've spent the last five days. . . trying to find you." I say walking towards Maurice slowly. Maurice wasn't having any of it. I could see it in his eyes. "You tried to kill me. You left me to the wolves." Maurice says with frustration in his voice. I look at Maurice like he just assumed that I tried to kill him. He doesn't have any proof. "Wolves? It's one thing to rave about your delusions. It's another to accuse me of attempted murder." I say with a knowing look.

I knew the townspeople would listen to me and I always get my way. "Maurice. . . do you have any proof of what you're saying?" Monsieur Jean says with slight worry in his voice. Maurice starts looking around for someone and then gestures over to Agathe. "Ask Agathe. She rescued me." Maurice says to allow her to speak. But I automatically stop her from speaking and laugh at what Maurice just said. "Agathe! You'd hang your accusations on the testimony. . . of a filthy hag? No offense, Agathe." I say with a certain look. Agathe looks at me with a knowing look that I don't even notice. Maurice looks around once again for another witness that witnessed this. Then his eyes land on someone a few feet from where I stood. "Monsieur LeFou.

He was there. He saw it all." Maurice says with knowing tone in his voice. I look over at LeFou and I can tell he wants to tell everyone what happened. "Me?" LeFou ask uncertain in his voice. I get a little angry but I calm myself down and walked over towards LeFou. "You're right. Don't take my word for it. LeFou. . . my dearest companion. . . did I. . . your oldest friend and most loyal compatriot. . . try to kill the father of the only woman I've ever loved?" I asked LeFou and grabbed ahold of his shoulders. LeFou looks at me and back at everybody in the tavern waiting for an answer. "Well, it's a complicated question on a number of accounts. . ." LeFou says looking at the people around him in the tavern. I knew what he was about to do. He was going to tell everyone I did it. I grab his shoulders and turn him towards me and give him a look.

"But no. No, he did not." LeFou says trying his best to keep a straight face. I nod my head and lift it up in pride. I look over at Maurice and he looks mad. "You. . ." Maurice says with anger and quickly walks over towards me and is about to slap me. I stop his hand and put it back down by his side. "Maurice. . . it pains me to say this, but you've become a danger to yourself and others. No wonder Y/n, ran away." I say to him. I turn him around and hold on to his shoulders. "You need help, sir. A place to heal your troubled mind. Everything's going to be fine. Just fine." I say to Maurice as I gesture to Tom, Dick, and Stanley to take him.

Adam's pov

I was in the bathtub washing myself and getting ready for the dance with Y/n. I was so nervous. I didn't even know she would actually say yes. "Well, I saw her in the ballroom. . . and said, 'You're making everything look so beautiful. We should have a dance tonight.' I never imagined she'd actually say yes. Ugh, what was I thinking?" I say sighing with a groan. I stood up from the bathtub and grabbed my robe. "No, Master. It's perfect. The rose only has four petals left which means tonight. . . you can tell how you feel." Lumiere says with a smile on his face. I look down at Lumiere and shake my head in annoyance. Even though I loved y/n with all my heart and soul since we were teenagers, she would never love me. "I feel like a fool.

She will never love me." I say shaking my hair and fur from all of the water. "I mean she may but she doesn't see me as the guy she knew as a child." I say with annoyance in my voice. I get out of the tub and sit down on the chair in front of the mirror. "Do not be discouraged. She is the one." Lumiere says spitting out water from when I shake and lights his candles back on. I roll my eyes at Lumiere said. "I wish you'd stop saying that! It gets annoying after a while. Yes, there is supposed you have a soulmate and they are yours forever and they are the one." I say with certainty in my voice. Lumiere walks over towards me and hops onto the desk. "You care for her don't you? Well, then, woo her with beautiful music and romantic candlelight."

Lumiere says gesturing towards the sky with his candle hands. Plumette flies in front of me and looks at me. "Yes, and when the moment's just right. . ." Plumette says then giggles. I look at all of them with curiosity. I tried to understand what Plumette meant by the moment's just right. "Well, how will I know?" I asked them all curiously. "You will feel slightly nausea." Cogsworth says patting his clock stomach. "Don't worry, Master. You'll do fine." Lumiere says with a genuine smile. Mrs. Potts rolls over towards me on her cart and tries to comfort me as much as possible. "Just stop being so nervous and tell y/n how you feel. Because if you don't. . . I promise you'll be drinking cold tea for the rest of your days!" Mrs. Potts shouts at me and gives me a look of what a mother would do.

"In the dark." Lumiere says with a certain tone in his voice that makes it sound creepy. My blue eyes widen in fear at the sound of that. "Covered in dust." Plumette says in the same tone of voice as Lumiere. I start to think of what the castle would look like with it being dark and dusting. A shiver runs up and down my spine. I wouldn't have anyone to talk to or have a warm cup of tea brought to me. "Dark and very, very dusty." Lumiere says in the same tone as before. There right, I can't let my nervousness get in the way of telling y/n how I feel. Even though I've known her all of my life, I've never had the chance or courage to tell her how I felt about her. And today was the day I'm going to do it. I know I can do this. Lumiere taps his candle hands together and starts telling all of the servants what to do. "Start with the hair.

Women love nice hair!" Lumiere says to Chapeau. He grabs the scissors ready to cut my hair. "I'll take the fingers and toes." Mrs. Potts says pour some warm water into Chip for me to dip my fingers in. My chair spins around and I'm facing away from the mirror. "Chapeau, brush those teeth. They need it." Cogsworth says to Chapeau. Chapeau grabs the toothbrush and brushes my teeth to make sure my breath doesn't smell bad while I dance. "Dip, dip. Snip, snip." Lumiere says. I dip my fingers into the warm water and I hear snipping from the scissors above my horns. I feel steam of air on my nails which I know is coming from Mrs. Potts. I feel someone on my head and sigh.

I knew it was Lumiere doing something or another. I felt a cloth go to my horns and rub them. I then knew that Lumiere was shining up my horns. Hopefully all this works. "Polish the nails. Shine the horns." Lumiere says then jumps down from my head after he finishes shining my horns. I'm turned back around towards the mirror. I feel powder being put on my face by Plumette. "Eyes closed. Poof, poof." Plumette says putting a layer of powder on my face. If they think makeup is going to work on me, I don't think it will. "And to top it all off. . . Voíl!" Lumiere says gesturing his hands towards the mirror. I smile and look at myself in the mirror.

I looked horrible, with the white powdered wing on my head, make-up all over my fur. It did not look good at all. I frown at what I saw. "Okay, I can fix this." Lumiere says with a gesture of towards me. I wonder how y/n is doing with Madame de Garderobe. Hopefully she's having better luck right now than I am.

Y/n's pov

I was so surprised at what Madame de Garderobe did. She did a fantastic job. I had a gold necklace around my neck that looked like a tree, a gold ear accessory that went around my ear, and a gold hair thing that held my bun up in my hair. I felt like a princess, the color brighten my e/c eyes and h/c hair perfectly. Who knew a wardrobe could have such good taste in style. "Oh! Beautiful!" Madame de Garderobe says happily. I looked at her and I knew that look. Something was missing, I could tell. "But something is missing. Oh, yes. The finishing touch." Madame de Garderobe says lifting her arms into the air. I look around and see the gold specks start to move around and down towards my dress. It was a beautiful yellow color and the very flowy.

The gold specks went on the dress and made beautiful designs. I was really nervous to dance with Adam. I walked out of the room and down the stairs. As soon as I got there, my breath hitched in my throat. Their was Adam, standing in a blue coat with gold embroidery down his coat, and a blue shirt also with embroidery. He just looked so handsome in his prince suit. I looked into his blue eyes and could see the same thing in his eyes. We both walked down to meet each other and Adam offers me his arm. I gladly take it. Because if I didn't, I'd probably fall flat on my face down the stairs. We walked up towards the ballroom and it was as beautiful as imagined it to be. The candles were all lit on the chandeliers. And for some reason it felt like home, like I belong here. It felt so magical. I looked over at Adam to see him looking at me. I smile at him and he smiles back.

And turns his head back towards the ballroom. I could then hear Mrs. Potts in the background. She was singing a song.

🎶Tale as old as time

True as it can be

Barely even friends

Then somebody bends unexpectedly

Just a little change

Small to say the least

Both a little scared

Neither one prepared

Beauty and the Beast🎶

We were were in the middle of the ballroom floor and I could tell Adam was a bit nervous. I took both sides of my dress and curtsied to him. I look up at him. Adam bows towards me and seems like he doesn't know what to do next. I hold my hands out towards him and he takes hold of them. I go to the right and spread my arms, I smile at him and then I go to the left and Adam goes the opposite direction.

🎶Ever just the same

Ever a surprise

Ever as before

Ever just as sure

As the sun will rise🎶

Adam spins us both around and I feel like I'm floating on air. But now it's with Adam, my one true love. Wait, did I just say that? I smile happily to myself. I would tell Adam about it later. We danced a couple steps forward and Adam spins me towards him.

🎶Tale as old as time

Tune as old as song

Bittersweet and strange

Finding you can change

Learning you were wrong🎶
