"C-Can I help you?" Taehyung smiled nervously as he stuttered over his words.
He had no idea what the stranger wanted but he remained as nice as possible.
"Hm, never thought the day would come where I would find you all alone." The red-haired male smirked as he took a long drag from his cigarette.
Taehyung furrowed his brows in confusion at his words. What did he mean?
"S-Sorry, how do you know me? I have never seen you before?" Taehyung asked innocently, the brown bag clutched tightly in his grasp.
The other male laughed loudly, a laugh that brought shivers down taehyung's spine at how downright evil it sounded.
He gulped loudly when the male dropped the cigarette and crushed it with his boot.
"So naive." He taunted as he stepped closer towards Taehyung, making the boy back away slowly.
"Excuse me?" Taehyung's palms began to sweat when he took note of how intensely the other male looked at him.
"Everybody on my side of town have heard a lot and you and your family. About what you do. Never thought I'd see the day where I'd have you right in front of my very own eyes."
The red-haired devil smirked as he inched closer to Taehyung who shook his head in confusion.
What we do? He thought.
Just when Taehyung could feel the male's breath on his face, another voice rang out in the distance.
"What are you doing here?"
It was the same boy. Chanyeol's brother.
Taehyung could recognize him anywhere. He too came from the shadows, black leather jacket around his shoulders.
The male that was in Taehyung's face exhaled heavily, clearly annoyed at the timing of the latter.
The boy's stare awoke every sense in Taehyung's body as he glared at him before looking at the male.

It was clear that they knew each other when the red-haired male turned around and glared at him.
Taehyung sighed shakily as he stood between the two males, having no idea what to do.
"Would you look at that? The second person I least would have expected to see here." He laughed as if it was the funniest coincidence in the world.
"I asked you a question, Hoseok." Chanyeol's brother stared at Taehyung once again as he spoke to Hoseok.
Hoseok soon stepped away from Taehyung, making his way over to the handsome boy.
Taehyung felt himself grow nervous as the thought of them possibly fighting crossed his mind.
He took one look at the familiar boy behind Hoseok as he tightened his jaw, almost gone unnoticed by Taehyung.
But he saw it.
His eyes showed recognition and Taehyung didn't wait a second longer before he quickly turned and sped walked down his street, didn't stop once until he opened his front door and closed it shut behind him.
What was that?
-
The following Sunday was when Taehyung saw the boy again.
He was leaning against the wall by the side of the church.
Clearly not caring about the whole speech Taehyung had given him.
The church boy sighed, shaking his head when he noticed the cigarette dangling from his lips.
He lowered his head and was about to pass by him without speaking when the boy himself spoke up, "What did he want?"
Taehyung stopped walking when he heard the husky voice.
He thought he had imagined it but when he tuned towards the boy, he found him already staring at him with that deep gaze.
"W-What are you talking about?" Taehyung asked.
"Hoseok, the guy you were talking with the other night. What did he want?" He stated coldly as he held the cigarette between his fingers.

"He was surprised to find me alone. H-He said his side of town had heard a lot about me and my family." Taehyung tried to recall everything the other male had said.
Truth be told, he had been trying to forget the whole incident, shivers crawling up his body at the thought of that night.
When he had gotten home, he stood in shock for a few seconds before his mother found him still by the door, and snatched the now, cold bread out of his hands.
Taehyung watched as the boy rolled his tongue over his inner cheek without a word.
"You shouldn't be out so late." He responded, eyes piercing into Taehyung's warm brown ones.
"I won't." Taehyung mumbled, having no idea why he felt the need to agree with the stranger. "Thank you by the way, for stepping in."
The stranger responded with a light nod before he stepped away from the wall, and took a long drag of his cigarette, clearly about to walk away.
"W-Wait!" Taehyung didn't know what he was doing, why he was calling out for him.
The boy suddenly stopped walking, turning around expectantly.
"I don't even know your name." Taehyung stuttered as his cheeks flushed pink.
There was a pause before the boy replied with a smirk, "Jungkook."

Grey [HIATUS]
I was originally fueled by anger and disdain to write this and looking back, most of what I wrote for this story was unplanned and a bit trashy. I kinda stopped having ideas for this, so I stopped in the end. If you're looking at this right now, you probably shouldn't read this because it's only 12 crappy chapters in and yeah... Sorry to the people who might've liked this. (Maybe one day I'll continue this, but for now, I have other plans) Grey, a prince, is unsure about what to do when he starts running away from an enemy beast tamer. He's unsure on what to do now that his father, the king, is dead. In the forest alone, he'll discover a small companion and a rogue. Together will they figure a way to take back Grey's kingdom? Or will they just die in vain? Let's be honest here, most of you probably like the fox aspect of the story the most. (BTW the cover design is made by me. Terrible, I know) I'm kind of done with writing bs descriptions that I might change in the future, plus I'm not very good with being thoughtful with quotes and stuff like that. I just write what pops into my mind, which is usually stupid things. So the description may or may not be accurate so I've changed it to being very vague.

Tales from the Triverse
Tales from the Triverse is part detective drama, part fantasy adventure and part space opera. I’m influenced by the likes of Iain M Banks, Isaac Asimov and ND Stevenson and work including The Wire and Gotham Central. It begins with an incident two hundred years ago which crashed three parallel universes together. Portals open up in 18th century London, sending England down a very different path. We pick up events in the 1970s, with the Metropolitan Police having established a new department to handle portal-related criminal activity. The story is about intolerance, immigration, multiculturalism and power. It’s about what happens when incompatible viewpoints are weaponised to seed discontent, and the efforts of some to create a fairer world. In the tradition of the best science fiction, fantasy and crime fiction, I’m using the setting to examine themes that matter to me in the real world. Who is it for?If you like science fiction or fantasy, or a mix of both, this is for you. It’s my first foray into crime fiction, but I hope if you’re a fan that you’ll enjoy yourself - especially if you’re looking for something a bit different. I write fiction that is optimistic, progressive and empathetic. Bad things can happen to good people in the stories, but the overall arc tends to be hopeful. Note that if it were a movie, Tales from the Triverse would be a 15 certificate in the UK.
