Rachel's POV

"Well looks like it's time go to go Diagon Ally." I say looking at my daughter. "Diagon Ally what's that?"Melissa ask in confusion. "Diagon Ally is the place where we can get all your school supplies now let's get going." I told her while heading to the fireplace. "Uhm mom I don't mean to be rude or anything but how are we gonna get there?" "Oh well by floo powder of course." I tell her grabbing the pot of powder.

"Floo powder how does it work!" "Your father will show you ok,go ahead Derek." He grabs a handful of powder and throws in into the fire "Diagon Ally" he says clearly as he disappears into the flames. Melissa stands in amazement "alright sweetheart your turn now remember to speak Very clearly" I say as she grabs a handful. "Diagon Ally" she says as she also disappears into the flames.

(Melissa POV)

As I disappear into the flames I'm transported until I see my father. We're in some sort of bookshop apparently called Flourish and Blotts. Mom suddenly appears behind me. "Alright now let's see the list my dad says." I hand him the list "Rachel sweetheart how about you take Melissa to get her wand and robes while I get her books". My dad says as mom nods. "Let's go get your robes first." You go in sweetheart I'll get you a pet which would you like an owl,cat or a toad?" My eyes light up when she says owl. "May I have an owl please?" "Of course I'll be right back she says as she goes off."

As she enters the shop she sees a pale boy getting fitted for his robes while she waits. He spots her "hello there I'm Draco Malfoy,what's your name?" "Oh hi I'm Melissa Lycan it's nice to meet you" I smile at him. "Are you going to hogwarts this year as well?" I get on a stand as I get fitted "yep I'm really excited my parents went to hogwarts which is where they met. I only found out about it earlier today though." He look suprised "oh? How come if I'm allowed to ask?" I shrug "something about protecting me from someone I'm a pure blood and I guess my parents wanted to protect me from any harm." I say as if it's nothing. "Oh that's surprising most families tell their children about hogwarts and magic growing up." He tells me "it's ok I'm happy I finally learned about it though,do you know what hogwarts house you'll be in?" I ask him while he just smirks "my whole family's been in slytherin for generations so definitely slytherin what about you?" "I'm honestly not sure my mother was a ravenclaw and my father a slytherin but they both say I have traits of all the houses so I'd honestly be happy in any" I say smiling while he nods. "I hope you'll be in slytherin with me." He says with a smirk. I laugh "well there's a chance."

I notice an older woman walking in she has blonde and brown hair and is wearing a fancy green dress. "Oh hello there mother I'd like to introduce you to someone." Draco says as she comes closer *so this is his mother* I think. "Hello there Mrs Malfoy my name is Melissa Lycan it's nice to meet you" I say with a smile. She returns the smile "it's nice to meet you as well dear I'm glad my son has finally made another friend who might keep him in line" I laugh at that while Dracos smirk drops. "Mother"he says in embarrassment. "I'm kidding darling but it's time to go your father is ready" "alright mother" he says as he gets off his stand. "It was nice to meet you I'll see you on the train right?" He says looking at me. "Of course see you then bye Mrs Malfoy it was nice to meet you. I say as they start walking off. "You as well darling"she says as she and Draco leave the shop.

*Draco seems nice* I thought as my mom came back in with a brown owl. "I'm back sweetheart how did it go?" "It was awesome mom I met a friend who's going to hogwarts in my year" I say excitedly. "That's awesome sweetheart now let's go to Olivanders to get your wand. As we head into this old looking shop called Olivanders. An old man comes up to help us. "Ah ms Lycan I was wondering when I'd see you I've been expecting you" he says as he comes over to me. "I'm assuming your here for your wand hmm" he grabs a box and hands me a wand. "Give it a swish" as I do the lights flicker. He takes it back "hmm not this one how about.." he grabs another one. "Try this" as I grab it I feel a rush of power in me. "The wand chooses the wizard or witch and this wand has chosen you. It is willow wood with a unicorn hair core 10 3/4 inches perfect for charms." (a/n: my actual Olivanders wand form universal) "that's great sweetheart now let's get going your father is waiting for us." Mom says as she pays mr Olivander. "Alright mom let's go" we head back to the bookshop and meet my dad. "You both ready?"

Dad asks as we apperate home. I feel a sort of nauseous feeling come as we land on the living room. "What was that?" I say trying to regain my balance. "That my dear is apperation it's another form of transportation now go onto bed it's late"My dad says. "Alright dad good night" I say as I kiss both of their cheeks and head up to my room and flop on my bed. "Today was one crazy day" I say as I fall into a deep sleep.
