Jasper's POV
The last thing I ever expected was for me to meet my mate, who would have thought, she is honestly the most beautiful person I have ever seen in my life, she is just everything. Her smile, her laugh, the way she blushes around me and how stubborn she is but she still is somehow the sweetest person in the world, her sweet citrusy scent lingers on my mind a lot, how is one so perfect?
I had to have a conversation with Carlisle because she is human and after the whole Bella situation I need the help.
I'm not that good around blood still so her safety is an issue, I thought of staying away from her but I know I can't do that, I have been waiting the longest time for someone I didn't even know I needed.
I sat down in my History class waiting for her to come in knowing she liked being early for class.
I wonder if that Eric kid likes her, he flirts with her a lot, he did the same with Bella but I didn't care about her as I do with Micha. He better stop, I'm usually not jealous but I think I definitely am now.
I take a deep breath still waiting for Micha, she's almost here, I got a whiff of her scent but it smells a bit different huh, I wonder why.
As she walks into the classroom I got hit by the smell of her blood, and I instantly felt the hunger wash over me. Fuck. She's on her period.
I closed my eyes, griping the table hard knowing very well that they are going to turn red. She walks closer to me and the scent gets intensified, this is not going to end well, I hear her talking to me trying to get my attention and all I could think about was sucking her blood.

I can't take this anymore, I need to leave, I need to get out of here, now.
"Jazzy." I hear her soft voice say laced with concern.
"Would you just shut up!" I growled looking at her for a split second I saw the fear in her eyes and got even angrier at myself for the lack of control.
I hastily made my way out the classroom, I need to get as far away from her as I can get, she's not safe around me, I could harm her, I could kill her.
I made my way into the forest running as fast as I can, I need to hunt.
Hearing the sound of crunching leaves, I stop and see a deer and prepare myself.
I stalk towards it silently, making sure I do not scare it away, getting closer to it, I pounce tackling it to the ground crushing its neck and feeding on it.
After feeding I feel a lot better and I'm now coming to back my senses, looking at the dead deer I think of Micha, this could have been her, I could have killed her like I did this poor animal, what kind of monster am I?
The sound of my cellphone ringing disrupts me from my thoughts, I see Edward's name flashing on the screen.
"Jasper, it wasn't your fault," was the first things he said to me, "you'll learn to control it better, you will." he said trying to assure me.
"I lost control, I could have killed her, I could have murdered the only thing keeping my alive." I sighed into the phone, regret and disappointing seeping through my voice.
"I'm coming to you now, stay where you are, we're going to talk about this." he hung up.
Thinking that was not the best idea, I decided to leave. Going to the house and packing a few of my things, this is what is best, she'll be better off without me anyway, she probably won't even miss me, she'll move on and forget.
And with that, I left.
