《My Immortals(A One Direction Fanfiction) COMPLETED》Chapter 22

I woke up with a groan and rolled over. I love you, bed! I nuzzled into it again.
"Gwen?" So that's what woke me up.
"Ugh." was my response.
"Gwennie?"
I ignored them.
"Gwendy?"
The nicknames were really starting to go down hill.
"What?" I moaned as I rolled over and looked into Niall's blue eyes.
"Can you make me a sandwich?"
"Really?"
He began to laugh."No, actually, I came to tell you that breakfast is ready."
"Oh. Then why didn't you say so?" I leapt out of bed and got ready for the day before Niall escorted me out.
"So, what's on the agenda?" I asked him as we walked down the stairs.
"Nothing much, really... Maybe we could hang out?"
"Yeah! Sounds great!" Better than moping around over Harry. I walked into the kitchen and sat down at the table by Niall as everyone slowly filed in. We were still waiting for Harry and Taylor.
"Just forget it, Harry!" Taylor exclaimed in an agitated voice, before she stormed through the door and took a seat by me. Harry followed her in with an exasperated expression. Taylor caught my eye and gave me an apologetic expression. I gently patted her hand under the table, letting her know that dI knew how she felt.
I had finished my food and stood up to take care of my dishes. I was standing by the sink, scrubbing my plate as everyone finished up and thanked me before filing out. I didn't know if anyone was left. I doubted it, so I began to sing.
"Picture perfect memories, scattered all around the floor, reaching for the phone 'cuz I can't find it anymore. And I wonder if I ever cross your mind. For me it happens all the time!"
"Its a quarter after one, I'm all alone and I need you now, and I said I wouldn't come but I lost all control and I need you now. And I don't know how I can do without, I just need you now!" Another voice was singing with mine before I felt a hand on my shoulder. I turned my head to find Niall smiling at me.

I forgot what I was doing, since I was so surprised, and I dropped the dish I was washing it. It broke into pieces when it collided with the floor.
"Crap! Oh my god, I'm so sorry!"
I bent down with Niall to pick up the pieces and our hands bumped, making me blush, as I picked up a shard and cut my hand. It hurt like hell.
"Shit!" I exclaimed as blood poured from the gash.
"Language!" I heard a voice exclaim from the table as he scolded me like I were a child.
"You aren't my mother, you can't tell me what to do!" I told him off before Niall gently cleaned my hand under the faucet. He then gently licked it, healing it quickly.
I heard a chair scrape brutally against the floor and the door swung wide open and banged shut as Harry left. Niall pulled me into his arms in a wonderful hug.
"Don't worry, he's just upset. It'll be okay." He whispered as he stroked my hair. If only it were to turn out okay...
"So what do you wanna watch?" Niall asked me as I collapsed into the plush chair.
"Do we have any Friends?"
"Well, we have the boys, the girlfriends-"
"Not friend friends. Friends. As in Central Perk!" Niall laughed as he plucked it off the shelf and put it on. He sat down beside me and put his arm around me, in a We're Just Friends Sort of Way. We aren't together. But what if we were...?
Stop it, Gwen! I smiled when I saw the Central Perk Cafe. "So who's your favourite character?"
"Joey! He's so kind and funny! How about you?"
"I personally like Chandler, he's the group comedian!"
"Really? He's so socially awkward!" "But Joey's pretty dense!"
"Chandler has a smoking addiction!" "Joey watches porn!"
"So does Chandler!"
"Yeah, well, Joey sleeps around!"
"'Whatever, dude. You kissed a guy!'" I mimicked Ross and we both broke down in laughter. His chest vibrated against me as we both laughed.
I don't know how many episodes of Friends we watched, but for the first time in maybe three or four weeks, I was actually enjoying myself and not dwelling over Harry. I was beginning to feel like the old Gwen.

After what seemed like hours of laughter, Taylor came in and announced that it was dinner time. We turned off everything and Niall linked arms at me and we walked in looking all elegant with our lazy day clothes, my natural face and hair, and our red faces from laughing so much. We took a seat as everyone gawked at us. I blushed as I took a mouthful of food.
"No. We aren't together!" Niall announced, reading everyone's emotions. I laughed as they exchanged looks and winks and Zayn handed Louis a ten dollar bill as Louis smirked at us.
I noticed that for once, Harry and Tay weren't sitting together. I just shrugged it off. Every couple has their kinks in a relationship.
After dishes, Niall walked me up to my room and we decided to hang out in there. I got ready for bed and then we sat on the bed, talking for hours, cracking jokes, Niall told me stories of his long past as I recounted my childhood. It was nearly midnight already.
"It's getting late, Gwen. I'll see you in the morning," Niall murmured with a sigh and he kissed my forehead. That's when I remembered the nightmares. I didn't want to face them alone. Or wake up alone in my room. I needed company tonight. Yes, the big, tough Gwen was scared of a wittle nightmare! Did you read that in a cutesy baby voice? 'Cause that's how it feels.
"Niall!" I grabbed his arm and he looked at me with compassionate eyes. "Please stay with me tonight?" I whispered to him.
"Okay. Let's go back to mine. Come on," He said with a smile.
He picked me up and held me against his chest, his arm supported legs and my arms wound themselves around his neck. he grabbed me a blanket, my pillow, and handed me my Teddy Bear. I held it in one arm as Niall carried me.
I felt like I was really young again. My mom's old boyfriend, Daren, would carry me to bed like this and tuck me in.
Niall tucked me into his bed, right next to the wall as he got ready for bed. He turned off the lights as the fireplace crackled in the darkness. Niall's arms wound around my waist and I fell asleep pressed against him with a smile on my face.
HARRY'S POV
I missed Gwen. A lot. I felt like I wasn't whole without her. I often heard her in her room at night, crying, and I felt really bad, knowing I caused her that much sadness. I wish we never went on a break.
I mean, Taylor's okay, but I don't feel the same way towards her as I did for Gwen. Gwen lit up my world, just like Chris. Gwen made me smile when sometimes, it seemed impossible. Seeing her slightly puffy eyes every morning sent daggers through my heart. Listening to her quiet sobs rips me apart inside. I still love her, but she doesn't love me anymore.
"Harry?" Taylor waved her hand in front of my face.
"Oh, sorry, Gw-Taylor!" I caught myself, but I saw her face drop slightly.
"Are you okay? You've been distant lately..."
"Oh, just... Tired, I guess..." I shrugged.
"Harry, I know you're lying to me. You almost just called me Gwen. harry, I need to know, do you still have feelings for her?"
"What? Psh, naw. I love YOU Taylor." She nodded, but she didn't believe it all."I didn't call you Gwen!"
"Just forget about it, alright?" She shrugged, turning her back to me. I lied to Taylor, but I didn't want to hurt her. I love Gwen, it feels like I'm alive when I'm around her. What am I going to do?! I like Taylor and I'm dating her! But my heart belongs to Gwen!
A/N hey guys! Sorry it's been kinda late lately! Haha! So I'm trying to minimize my swearing. I hope you liked it! You know what to do! See ya next chappie!
