My day at work is uneventful. I spend the day looking through discovery and taking case notes.

I try and avoid everyone and keep my baby bump hidden.

Just before Im ready to go home I grab my phone out of my handbag. Over 20 missed calls from Ryker. I wonder what he wants... I know the answer is definitely not me! He made that very clear last night

Then I see another missed call from my mom. I better call her back. Maybe I should go there tonight and tell them about the baby. God knows Im going to need some support from someone and Ryker is obviously not that someone. He is just a biker... a fucking gorgeous biker, but thats beside the point.

I call my mom and she answers almost immediately.

"Savannah" She says in a serious tone. Crap! Does she already know about the baby? I bet Ray told them... just to spite me.

"Yes Momma?" I reply as sweetly as possible

"Whats going on? Ray says your fighting and she won't tell me what about plus Daddy and I haven't seen you much since graduation. Your coming over tonight and were talking this through."

I sit in silence. Well theres my invitation... time to suck it up and tell them i guess.

"Did you hear me young lady?" her tone says it all... I'm in for it

"Yes Momma. Im just finishing up for the day. I'll be at the house within the hour"

"Ok we'll see you soon Savannah"

Well its now or never. I grab my handbag and my workbag, slip on my trench coat and head out the door.

After 45 minutes of driving I arrive at my family home. I immediately noticed my brothers car in the driveway. God my brothers love their pick ups... I must admit Jacksons picked a beauty this time. Its a 2016 Ford F-150 Platinum pick up. It actually reminds me of Rykers truck. Come to think of it I think he has the same one. Odd I think. Maybe he has more in common with my family than I first thought.

I park my car and wander into the house. My first thought is that I am starving so I head toward the kitchen. Im met with a view of Ryker. What the fuck is he doing in my parents house. I freeze

He turns around and in his low husky voice greets me "Hi Angel"

"what are you doing here" I mumble out
