I can't believe Ryker is here at my parents house. My first thought is that he has told my parents all about us.

I grab the edge of his long sleeve short and pull him over to me

In a hushed tone I ask "what are you doing here?" He looks somewhat confused but then cocks his head and a smile creeps onto his face. "well you weren't answering my calls so what was I supposed to do"

Im still perplexed so I ask a follow up questions "how did you know where I lived?"

"really Savannah?" he replies looking at me up and down " You're the mother of my child... of course I've tracked down where you live"

My eyes almost bulge out of my head when I here the world child. All I can hope is that no one else heard. Shit... Im in big trouble.

I immediately disengage eye contact with Ryker and hi places his thumb on my chin and raises my head so i am staring write into his eyes. "Im sorry for whatever Ive done to upset you Savannah" He seems so sincere... Do i believe him?

I go to turn my head away and he stops me

" I really am Angel. Just tell me what I did so I can make it up to you... to the both of you"

"Jesus Christ Ryker!" I huff " Stop talking about the baby... someone is going to hear you and then I'll be even more pissed than I am now"

He gives a half hearted smile and then utters "Sorry"

"well I guess there is no time like the present to spread the news" I say in a very un enthralled tone.

I grab Rykers hand and pull him into the family room where my parents are both lounging. Mom is reading and Dad is glued to the flatscreen watching a game of Football.

"hmmmm" I clear my throat to grab their attention.

My mom looks up immediately but dad is still far to engaged in the game. My mom leans over and taps my dad on the shoulder and he shakes out of his hypnotism and looks straight at me.

" I think Savannah has something she wants to tell us honey" my mom says in her loving and want southern tone.

"Yeah.... about that" I'm ahead stumbling on my words. Crap.... abort mission I can't do this. They are going to be so disappointed.

"Ummmm" Just say it Savannah, just say it. Its like a bandaid... just rip it off.

Before i can even get the words out of my mouth Ryker places a hand on the small of my back and draws me in closer to him. "Well Mrs and Mrs ....... Savannah and I are having a baby"

My eyes immediately hit the floor so I don't have to see my parents shocked and disappointed reactions.

But then I hear clapping. I tilt my head up and see my momma so excited. "oh thats such wonderful news honey. I wondered why you had been off the last few weeks... it all makes sense now. I remember when I was pregnant with you. I was a crazy ball of hormones" she says with a reassuring smile.

"aint that the truth" my dad chimes in " I feel for you son... I really do" he says as he leans in and shakes Rykers hand. "Thanks sir... Im sure I can handle her" he replies with a cocky grin.

Handle me, what does he think I am a piece of fine china. I don't think so!

"So you guys aren't disappointed?" I say, still voiding their gaze.

"of course not sweet. Your 23 nearly 24. You have your degree and a wonderful Job as an associate and it seems you've found a strapping man. Mom says as she looks Ryker up and down.
